Kenzie was immaculately detailed through the whole gel manicure, ensuring perfect and even shape and finishing with an incredible multicolor ombre design. I have never had any problems until this past time that lead me into the er to get my toe drained after I got a bad infection from getting a pedicure last Tuesday. Usually they are clean and careful the lady who had me did clean my toe after making me bleed from removing an ingrown but the next day it was all pus and it progressively got worse to where I wasn't able to put pressure so today I had to go in to get my toe drained and the rest of the ingrown properly removed. Definitely will not be going back.

Came back to this place after my last positive experience. I didn't schedule an appointment but I was willing to wait but they were able to seat me right away. Upon sitting, I asked for a mani pedi and a specific design I wanted. After that, they started on my nails and toes, took about 1 1/2 hours. During the time they did my hands, I did notice that there was an excess of gel underneath some of my nails. Some of my other nails, like my thumb seems to have a huge gap. I wasn't sure if that was normal but I didn't speak up. I After I finished, I went home and noticed it even more after cooking and prepping food, the food would get stuck underneath my nails! Now I'm not the type to complain but in hindsight I should have spoken up and have them fix it.

Nice customer service but not good at gel x. An excess amount of glue under almost every single nail. $76 for the Nails to not be cleaned up just seems a little bit ridiculous.

I actually found this place because my wedding was coming up and I had trouble with another nail place getting my appointment. I called a week in advance and they had an appointment for me with the exact date and time I needed before my big day. My nail tech was daisy and Linda did my pedi. They both are very sweet Linda took care of me and was very knowledgeable on what type of polish I should get for my big day so it would last. Daisy also was great! I showed her pictures of what I wanted and went above and beyond what I wanted and I loved them! She takes her time and is such a perfectionist! I've never had any nail tech care this much! It's a bit of a far drive for me and if youre used to cheap Asian nail places it's a bit pricey but you get what you paid for and it's totally worth it Thank you guys !!! read more

I came here yesterday for the first time and the salon is really nice. I like it compared to most. Everyone was nice and polite, made sure all clientele is getting taking care of. Kevin did my nails and I absolutely love them! I'm never satisfied at other salons but I finally found the one. He did such an amazing, clean job. He's really nice too. Make an appointment! Haven't had my nails done since March and I was hesitant to return especially since Kevin is not there any more. The receptionist recommended Lee and she was not wrong! Lee took her time and had great attention to detail. I'm very picky when it comes to nails and I was very impressed with Lee. They have plastic shields in place at every station and everyone was wearing masks which made me feel comfortable. read more

I was disappointed with my visit here, my nails weren't shaped nicely or the way that I wanted them. I paid 45$ for a pedi that did not include a massage. Their prices just do not match their work, if I'm gonna pay 85$ in total for a FILL & PEDI I expect perfection. Will not be coming back. read more

Place was clean and front receptionist was friendly. However, I'm pretty disappointed overall. My gel nails are way too thick and they didn't do the design I wanted at all. It was difficult to communicate even with help of the receptionist and the design is nowhere close to what I wanted. The woman who did my pedicure seemed to be annoyed that I was asking questions and I didn't feel comfortable to correct her on the work she was doing. I also literally showed The woman who did my manicure a picture of what I wanted and it was way off. I couldn't even correct her since she did gel and it was basically too late. Overall I would not go back there and I hate that I basically wasted $87 for nails I don't like. Also, pedicures are a bit overpriced IMHO. I will not go back. read more

Listen to the reviews before coming here...I thought people on here were just complainers but this truly is the most horrible and overpriced salon in the area. They rush through everything. I never said I wanted to match my nail and toe polish yet two of the ladies bicker over the right color, then it doesn't even end up matching. I'm not one to complain but geez for the price you'd think you'd get a little more. Very rude and mean ladies who look like they wish to be anywhere else. Asked for my nails to be more round and the lady said "yeah later" then never made them more round. Good for you if you've found your person there but I'd highly advise going in blind without researching a decent technician. Will never return here due to the service and price. read more

First of all no. Just keep scrolling by and look for a different place. Unless of course you want overpriced shitty nails this is it. I came in about a week ago and my nails are already lifting. I got a white tip with clear acrylic, there are so many air bubbles trapped in them that I just say they're part of the design because honestly how embarrassing. The girl doing my nails was literally rushing as if she were in a race. Acrylic dripping everywhere because she decided to race herself. At any other place a white tip with clear acrylic is $25 but no not here. They charged $50 for a BASIC BASIC BASIC nail design. I also got a pedicure which once again I asked for a lower priced one I believe it's like $20 on their menu but no this place decided to charge $45. It was a horrible pedicure. The lady decided that half my nails were only to be painted and when I asked her KINDLY to paint the rest of my nails she frowned and started talking shit literally calling me a stuck up bitch. Like ummmmm honey I can literally understand everything you're saying. OH AND THEY ALSO CHARGE $3 IF YOU WANT TO PAY WITH CARD!!!! the front desk lady literally said "next time bring cash so that we don't charge you extra". So in total I paid $98 for a horrible job. Never coming back. And you should never try it out save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Don't let Vicki at Area one do your nails. She charged me $65 to do a shitty job on tips with SNS. I could tell at the time of my appointment that she really didn't want to do my nails (must of thought that I was a bad ripper, who knows). She had the worst attitude and tapping the powder everywhere. I asked for a French set with ombré dusting and I basically got white tips because she didn't take the time to do the job correctly. She placed my tips on cracked and felt like it was all ok. I asked to speak with the manager who was not there. I then asked for a call back from the manager which I got. She asked that I come back I so that she could see the set, but of course she was not there when she asked me to come. If I could give them no stars I would. They are always super busy and plus they pricey so you would think they would give good service. Avoid Vicki at all cost, have someone else do your set, maybe they will do a better job for you. read more

I got a full set of acrylics and paid an additional $15 for gel because I figured it would last longer. Not even 2 days later and all my nails are lifting. Its unfortunate I spent $50 on something I immediately want to take off my nails. i went back to show them my nails and they were hesitant to take them off for me. They were upset they had to take them off and repeatedly cut up my nails to the point where they were bleeding. will never be going back. read more

Hadn't gotten my nails done in forever. Looked around for a place to get my nails done ended up choosing this place. Try somewhere new. It was a very pleasant experience, I had to wait a little to get helped but after that it was fine the guy who did my nails did them fast and they came out so nice! I did get a new girl who did my pedicure so it took a bit longer but she did great! I enjoyed my time there overall and the owner is very friendly always walking around and making sure everyone's doing ok. Will be coming back. read more

I had my Nails done by Vicky the first time and was very impressed. Came in for fills and my Nail looked great until two days later were all cracking....it happens right. Came back to fix them she had the worst attitude she was rude and slapped the SNS with no regards to shape or make things right. Twice she reapply and still not right. She would not even answer my questions or acknowledge my request to get someone else and I would pay again. I spent $126.00 here for fills and pedi it's unfortunate that people don't appreciate their job anymore and have no pride in their craft. Very disappointed . Ann is thee best nail tech EVER!!!!!! My nails are perfect every time! She's nice and thorough and makes sure I'm happy with the work that's done. I've been coming to her for years and will follow her wherever she goes. As for the salon. It's so nice. I like the music they play. They give you water while you're getting worked on and all the staff are friendly. It's a good vibe. The only negative is the scheduling. Sometimes the wait is too long even with an appointment. But I think they're working on it. Doesn't keep me from coming back to see Ann or get my pedis there too! read more

Apparently the online appointments are pointless. I made an appointment for today and she told me they have no way of making sure they do not double book the online appointments. So I would still have to wait 30-1hr for my APPOINTMENT that I made online. Such a joke. I bring both my daughters and their friends here too, but now we all have to find somewhere else to go, because I dont want to give anyone my business that treats frequent customers that way. I've been going to this salon for over a year now and my experience yesterday might finally have me finding a new place, Even though overall I have been happy with how they do my nails, their customer service is bad and yesterday takes the cake!! I got gel polish and a pedicure ( $67 + tip), I usually do acrylic nails but I decided to go back to gel this time since my nails were getting so thin. Both techs seemed unhappy and both were pretty rough (even though I was VERY specific about wanting someone who would be gentle) especially the girl doing my pedicure, she was so rough doing my toes from making the water too hot to me having to say "ouch" several times as she rushed through my service and dug underneath and clipped my toes. The lady who did my nails wasn't much better, she actually disappeared in the middle of my manicure and went to get something to eat and I had to ask the other nail tech what happened to her? she said, " oh she went to have some lunch"? What?? In the middle of my appointment? I did let the girl know at the front desk know about my experience, she agreed that she too would be upset! She told me she would let the manager know, she took my name and number but offered no discount or apology. I haven't heard from anyone yet.. Not good business!! read more

I've been going to my usual place for years. This time, I decided to try someplace closer to home. Area One did not disappoint. The premises was very clean, bright, and well decorated. Their service was friendly and we did not have to wait long to be seen. We walked in without an appointment on a Thursday at 5 pm and only waited maybe 10 minutes tops. Which is wayyy better than where I used to go and it would hurt like hell. She makes her own wax by blending 2 different kinds together. It's truly unique. I've never seen wax like that before and it does wonders for my sensitive skin. She's also very sanitary--she uses a new stick each time to get the wax and her room is clean. Getting a Brazilian wax is not the most comfortable thing in the world, but Dawn makes it more comfortable. She's so friendly and nice and I always enjoy talking to her! Even when I move, I will still make the drive to Corona because I refuse to go to anyone else.

Used to be my favorite salon, but but based upon my last visit, I think the technicians are used to me and provided very poor service. I think that they assume since I'm a man that I'm not gonna check and they didn't do my cuticles. They also told me my whole last visit on a slow day because it's raining and refuse to let me get the cheaper manicure and pedicure options. I like the vibe, but why is Christmas music playing in March and sometimes when I go in there there's a little boy running around. one of the parents is working at the salon overall, used to be good but I can't come back here because it's not quality. I paid $96 for a mani pedi and the girl was trying to rub up on my shoulders which I didn't like that she offered that and I shouldn't have my key to bed untouched if I paid that much and another manicure two days I go there. read more

I went to this nail salon and I asked if they do Venmo and she said YES then I pay with Venmo and go out to my car, the lady chases my car down the street and I decided to pull over and she's screaming at me to pay again. I simply said no because I wasn't going to pay again and she said they didn't do Venmo!!! I told her that she specifically said Venmo works!!!!!! She's yelling at me In a freaking parking lot!!! Then I show her that it came out of my bank account and she still doesn't believe me so I say if it really is wrong show me you didn't get it and she does something and shows me and I see from my account the payment. That proves she just wants my money and she doesn't care about the customer. For some reason yelp wont let me do 0 stars so I have to give one. 100% don't recommend this place!!! read more

Ive been looking for a new nail salon because the nail lady I've gone to for years left the salon I used to go to. My co worker recently got her nails done here and they look nice. So I figured I'd give it a shot, well I think I finally found my new nail place! I don't know who did my nails because she didn't have a name tag on but she was nice, I had my daughter with me and she kept coughing the nail tech got up and got water for her, that was something that she definitely didn't need to do. My nails look perfect not too long not too short, and clean work. My biggest issue with nail shops is how clean they are and the customer service. Area One Nail was quick and everyone was very up beat and easy going. They really care for you to like your nails. The tubs for pedicure were clean I always look at that! Every time I come get my nails or my pedicure done here I get disappointed. There's always something wrong with it. I don't know why they always rush to finish every time! I got the SNS powder this time and she left color on my skin when I asked her if she was gonna take it off she attempted to remove it with the cuticle cutter & was taking my skin off too & then told me the rest would come off when I wash my hands lol.... Though I have experience doing manis, I never had the chance to get one done myself. My boyfriend and I came in on August 10th, over an hour before closing. I did not make an appointment; however, the man at the front desk was accommodating and was able to get us helped out. I got the #9 + gel polish pedi as well as a Gel X mani. The pedi outcome was okay, but my nails were uneven and the process was painful. The Gel X was horrible. There was excess paint run, and she was very obviously rushing through everything, with one nail being crooked. I also asked for an ombre french tip style nail but the nail tech only applied one coat of the same color. The main kicker was that I asked for a SINGLE nail art design on one finger, and my nail tech, Winnie, refused. The techs were already tired from a day's work and were not enthusiastic about doing their jobs. They were complaining in Viet when people with appointments came in 30 mins before closing. At the end, my boyfriend pointed out that these nails were not like the inspo, and I was denied service. The man at the front desk then invited us back the following day to get a free service to fix the nails. We came back the next day and it got so much worse. #1: He lied. He was going to charge us additionally for the nail art. #2: He was protecting Winnie's refusal of service by saying it was a miscommunication. I understand Vietnamese, and Winnie completely understood the service I was asking for and said NO. I doubt a grown woman at a nail salon doesn't understand when a client is asking for a design. #3: The man in the front also tried to play it off like I asked for a single coat of color when the reference photo shown was using two different colors. He said verbatim, "If you angle your fingers at the light it looks like the photo". Even if that was the case, the result fails to look like the photo. ?????????????? #4: The man KNEW he was in the wrong and offered last minute when we got up to left to do the free service. It was so unprofessional and so disheartening, especially as my first experience at a nail salon. I paid 125 in total (30 for pedi, 75 for mani). Please give your money to businesses with accountability and actually want to preform the service they provide, because this one isn't it.

They did a good job. I did ask my lady if they sanitize their equipment and all o got was a nod. But then the paper bag that the supposed sanitized tools were used and not have any sterilized lines so unsure of that answer. Staff was welcoming when you enter and I didn't have to wait long to get seated even without an appointment. There are various and higher grade pedicure so I'll try that out next time. There is a difference in cash versus card pricing so if you want to save a little you can use cash.

I have left twice now because I was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait. 30 minutes later and I am still not seated so I left. I don't mind returning, but don't tell me I will be seated and then waste my time. I cannot speak to any of the girls working there anymore since the staff has changed so much. I would assume they are unhappy with how things have changed as well. Making an appointment does not help either. I showed up and still waited 20 minutes to be seated. It's a pattern now and as someone who doesn't like spending a lot of time at the salon and wants to be in and out, that's a deal breaker.

It was my first time trying this place, and they did not disappoint! Lily and Killy did my nails…read moreand toes. Lily did an amazing job with my builder gel fill--the shape and length are perfect, and both hands look identical. Killy did my gel pedicure. She hurt me a little while cleaning my toenails, but aside from that, I really loved the result! I paid $86 for both services (before tips). It's on the higher end price-wise, but it's only 3 minutes from my house, so I'll most likely be going back. I hope they keep up the great work!
