I wanted to like this place so bad, but couldn't. It's beautiful inside and the receptionist is very sweet. I can't even give the name of the technician that applied my full set because she did not speak to me at all. I tried letting her know what I wanted and yet she did everything the exact opposite. She cut me twice and even had one finger bleeding. Each time I pulled away she'd grab my finger back and not say anything. The length was all wrong, the shape was all wrong and the SMS that was applied did not cover the entire nail leaving the sides needing more powder. Needless to say I left and had to go to another nail shop, had them removed and replaced. I won't be going back. City of Corona is in need of a good nail shop. That's what I appreciate the most. Also, they have so many workers which is great for efficiency. BEYOND HAPPY! I found this place on yelp and decided to come by with newborn, mother and 2 sisters (5&8). Ana was my nail technician and did the most fabulous job! She was very patient with me when the baby cried in the middle of her shaping my nails while I had to get him situated. Also she was able to achieve my desired nail shape despite previous nail techs telling me my nail bed was too wide. My mother is very happy. On 7/19 me and my hubby came in for 2 pedicures 89 bucks later I really thought I was going to get a good pedicure, I was wrong. The lady that did my pedi did not speak or even understand a lick of English, so the communication just sucked. I was left asking a question and she just started at me smiling. She did something to one of my toenails that was painful I yelled out because it fricking hurt, she just looked at me in surprise like oops I though for sure I was going to see blood but did not. Later that night my flipping toe hurt bad! We're taking the tip of my toe was numb and it was very sore to the touch. WTF did she do!!!!!!! The next was worse I could not walk on my foot flat I had to walk around on the side of my foot it throbbed and would Periodically go numb. I'm a runner I was not able to run til just today. I was not even going to write a review because I knew I would never step foot in this rip off joint ever again. But the god damn fact my fucking toe is still numb on and off is pissing me off. All is a 5 star rating ton me. I want to specifically acknowledge Ashley, the front receptionist and room monitor (for lack of a better name) as I sit in the room each time for an hour or so, I watch her run the floor with such kindness and foward motion. Always making sure the client/guest are being taken care of, the nail techs are getting to the right chair and most importantly...she is always checking in with the client/guests throughout our service. I FOUND DOROTHY & KEVIN AGAIN!!! yes it's real, they're here at this beautiful, new salon!! This salon is honestly so pretty and huge! I like how the front desk is sort of separated from the rest of the salon. There's over 10 pedicure spa chairs and a few TVs with a bunch of individual nail stations. They provide you with water which is convenient since it's always so hot! I definitely recommend booking an appointment with either Dorothy or Kevin. Both do an AMAZING job. Finally found my go to nail gurus !!! if I remember correctly, Diana did my pedicure and was very sweet!! I only have some suggestions; I hope that they make a stamp card & that they serve wine soon! Tammy did such a good job on my nails! She was incredibly friendly and really took her time to make sure my nails looked great. She also helped me pick out a color and even though I picked a glitter she went over it a few times to make sure it had an even coating on all the nails. I found that very nice that she took that into consideration to make sure I get an even coat. She was great! :) It was a very nice place and most of the the staff was very nice as well. I came in with not knowing what I wanted and she definitely helped with figure it out. Even when I asked for her recommendation she didn't brush me off or seemed annoyed, she was very helpful. As far as my nails, I love them! Sns definitely doesn't have the harsh chemicals or that smell, everything was powder based. I had an appointment today and as Area One has been a great salon every time I have visited, today my experience was not excellent. I was getting a simple mani and pedi. sherilynn (please excuse my spelling) was my technician for my pedicure and she did a fabulous job! Took her time and made light, friendly conversation! But Jess (not sure if that was her name or if that's how you spell it) was my technician for my manicure. As much I enjoyed her company, about 5 minutes into my service her phone rang, she stopped, and left. She didn't return for about 10-15 minutes. Now, I get that emergencies happen and there are certain things that need to taken care of, but to just up and leave in the middle of an appointment without letting your customer know if you'll even be back was disrespectful. She did come back, but I feel as though she didn't do good work. She rushed through the rest of the manicure, didn't file my nails to soften the sharp edges from trimming them. Some of my nails were uneven as when I got home I noticed and filed them down myself. If it wasn't for the technician doing my pedicure, I don't think I would want to come back. But if you happen to have to answer an important phone call during a service, please do the courtesy to tell your client you have to take the phone call and will be back momentarily. Don't make them sit and wonder if you'll be back. read more

I was a little hesitant at first because I had a bad experience at another salon but Ann did such a great job!! I told her that a lady at my previous salon had gotten SNS all over my cuticles and then cut me multiple times trying to get the cuticle line to look good, so she took extra care to not cut me and she was super gentle. I really wanted to like this place but after a few months of patronizing their business, I've decided I won't be back. 1) I came here because of the rave reviews for SNS - I did enjoy that they had a huge selection of colors. I've had Val and Vicky for SNS manicures and they're good. But then again, maybe just the product is good because the SNS DOES last. I don't think they have it 100% down with shaping the nail. I've asked a few times to make my nails narrower because the SNS is pretty thick and I hate it when my nails look wide at the end. (Don't be offended if that's your style - just isn't mine.) 2) This is NOT a nail salon. It's bright and pretty and new but that's it. This is a nail FACTORY. They get you in and get you out. Which is nice because I've always gotten in and out in a timely manner but ...eh... a little personality goes a long way. You just feel rushed the whole time. 3) I just got an SNS manicure and a gel pedi a couple days ago and my big toe is THROBBING on both sides. I'm really hoping it's not infected - especially since I'm pregnant but only time will tell. I absolutely hate it when the techs dig into your toes like that where you walk away limping. 4) I've been cut on my cuticles almost every time with my manicure and it's really frustrating - not to mention anxiety inducing. It's either the drill or the nail file. 5) I understand Kevin is a fan fave but after seeing AND hearing about him, I really hope he changes his behavior. It is NOT ok to sexually harass other workers. I understand that his larger than life personality entertains some clients but to me, it's super annoying and him putting his hands on women, against their wishes, is completely unacceptable. I heard the owner doesn't do anything because he pulls in lots of clients. That's a total shame. Eventually he will get you guys in a lot of trouble and if you are purposefully ignoring it, then you are complicit in this disgusting behavior. I'm a pretty easy going customer and I really tried to like this place but I realized I really dread coming here. Sucks because it's so close to my house but oh well. Time to find a new salon! read more

Second time a new set has only lasted a week. The pedi peeled after 3 days. They didn't do the right design after explaining and showing pictures multiple times. Didn't take the time to care what we wanted. $95 spent not including tip and not pleased at all. Getting the two nails fixed that completely popped off and never coming back again. read more
