What a wonderful facility!…read more My bf and I were going to be out of town for the weekend and we didn't have anyone who could watch our dog. After doing some research, we found Paws Chateau and thought it was worth giving a try due to the many positive reviews. I really liked that they had an initial first meeting/temperament test to see how your dog plays with other dogs. They had a board in the front welcoming him, which was so cute!! Our dog is very playful and he's a husky mix so he likes to play rough so I was pretty worried that it might be too much. Turns out I was worried about nothing because he played just fine! They had a tv in the drop off area for you watch the play area! That first day was also a free day camp/daycare day which was amazing. They told us we could come back in a couple of hours to pick him up so that was nice. Upon picking him up, they had a report card with comments of how he did. He was knocked out that night. Day comes where we leave him for the weekend. The drop off time is after 3PM so he did get some play time in. We had opted for the deluxe suite since that had a camera in his room and we were able to watch him overnight. He was pretty stressed that first night and was in and out of sleep, which had me worried as it was his first time boarding. But as the days passed, he definitely got better and would sleep through the nights just fine. When we dropped him off, I had asked if they could give him a bath when we picked him up and they were able to do that! I didn't ask for the price but honestly they did a great job. He smelled so good after. They had a promo at the time where if he stayed three nights consecutively the fourth night was free so we did that. So in total, it was $311 for four nights and one bath. They also had a report card for this stay which is now on the fridge. Honestly no boarding is perfect imo. But this place comes pretty close. I would absolutely come back again in the future because riku had such a great time!

Once I pull up the car in the parking spot, she immediately turns towards the car door waiting for me to come and put her leash on to go to the entrance, with her leading the way. She sits right next to the entrance gate while I check her in. Once in the anti-room, she greets the staff member and goes to the door that leads to the yard patiently waiting for her to open the door. She looks back like saying "see you later" and she's off. When we come to pick her up, she's always excited to see us, exhausted from a day of frolicking with other dogs. A happy dog for sure!! That's what matters. Thanks Bark City. PS. On May 21, I received an email that their location had closed THE DAY BEFORE and that Long Beach and Lakewood would honor up to 5 class credits. Wtf. I went back to all my previous emails from Zoom Room HB and there was not a single announcement that they will be closing down. We immediately emailed the business requesting a refund for the unused credits and it has been over a week and we kept being told by Vince to be patient. My partner asked for a timeline, and in which Vince had requested another 5 days. I had filed a dispute for a portion of refund with my credit card company before they completely disappear. As someone in property management, the business owner would have at least known 60 days in advance (maybe even earlier depending on their lease contract) that they will not be renewing. They decided to wait until the day after closure to announce they are permanently closed to not deal with in person questions from their customers.
