This is our third time around with Argenta and setting up a system. I think most people think they're just a home theatre shop, but they also sell 2-channel systems and offer a lot of great options for equipment. I previously worked with Justin on the setup of our home theater, and they did a stellar 5 star rating on that job. It still sounds and works really well. For this project we wanted a new 2-channel setup and Justin worked with me all the way. He talked to me on the phone and over text about my options, during business hours and even after business hours. He has a real passion for 2-channel systems, so can talk about it forever and offers a lot of insight into what one needs based on room, budget, preferable sources, etc. Justin and Declan came up to our house and did the install over the course of a few hours and it was amazing. I can't say enough good things about their care of the equipment, our house, and the detail they showed in setting everything up and then measuring it. You really cannot go wrong with them. If you're looking for a home theater or 2-channel system I would start by giving Justin a call as chances are he will be able to find a solution to your needs and offer great insight. I am just writing this review after having two projects (about 4 total days of work) - my wife and I moved out to Salt Lake City recently and the house we purchased was not wired at all. Tanner with Argenta was excellent at planning a way in which to wire ethernet and fiber throughout the house in a way that was minimally invasive. We also had speaker wire routed from existing speakers to a central location in the garage (along with the ethernet/fiber) with Sonos Amps, along with your typical TV/speaker mounting. The planning process was very smooth and excellent communication throughout. Tanner is a standup guy, very knowledgeable (even figured out a great small TV to fit in our kitchen perfectly). In addition, we had Starlink setup as a backup ISP given Comcast's inconsistency. Specifically on the install work, Tanner C (different Tanner) aka "TanC", and Ray, were my primary guys for all the onsite work. These two are rockstars, efficient, incredibly clean (no mess left whatsoever), smart (I only have to say things once and they just "get it") and are excellent at their craft. They really can work magic with an existing home, and went well beyond my expectations. If you have an existing house, I highly recommend these two (and obviously Argenta does new builds and I'm sure Tanner is great as a project designer for that as well). read more

Walked in to get some info on a home theatre for a house project I'm doing in Millcreek and I had a terrible experience from a customer service perspective. I tried to ask simple questions to get simple answers and I got treated as if I knew nothing (which I don't) but having a sales person answer questions to make me feel inferior and have a negative experience learning about products left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I am not one to normally leave reviews, good or bad, but the experience my wife and I had today when visiting this store moves me to do so. We explained to the person working at the front desk that we are going to be building a home theater in our house and are very not knowledgeable when it comes to all of the different components that are involved. We are planning on spending between $7,000 and $12,000 for the theater equipment. We simply asked if the person could help us identify the type of equipment that we should be considering and help us understand the difference between the extremely expensive stuff and the less expensive stuff. The guy could not have been less interested in helping us in anyway. He was rude, condescending, and made us feel like we were a complete bother to him. We continued to try to and gather some information and we're just never able to get any assistance at all. For the first time in my entire life I literally had to excuse myself from the store and tell him sorry for bothering you today, you clearly have no interest in trying to help us buy a home theater system from you. We were nothing short of shocked. If you are considering Purchasing high-end home theater equipment, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This was the single worst experience I've ever had in any retail environment in my life, especially one where I'm looking to spend five figures. This is also the first time I've ever been moved to even write a negative review against someone. read more

These guys are amazing. They sell you the best product for what you want. They will be completely honest with you about why a particular product will or won't work for what you are wanting to achieve. Justin and Tanner have been absolutely amazing to work with. Any questions we've had they have answered and have worked with in our budget to help us achieve the theatre we want. Another great experience using Argenta. A year after having them install my theater room we decided to move to a new home. I stopped by the show room and was warmly greeted by Tanner who remembered my name. I explained to Will what we wanted to do at out new home, He gave suggestions on how to remove the TV's and what to expect! On the day of the install Sawyer (who remembered doing the old installation) and Patrick showed up on time and went straight to work. So professional and fun to talk with and watch work! I purchased some AV equipment and 6 custom Palliser theater seats. It was great working with such knowledgeable staff. I'm more of a DIY guy when it comes to this kind of stuff, but they didn't treat me differently just because I was doing my own theater build. They offered help and expertise along the way. Mark R I can honestly say I have been to every home theatre audio store in the entire valley and I do not believe that anyone holds a candle to their set up and knowledge that Argenta has. Justin has so much knowledge of speakers products and setup I really like there Adobe atmos room there room sounds better than anyone that I have heard. I have been a avid home theater and stereo file hobbyist for 25 years I have heard so many systems over the years. I bought a pair of the Pendragen speakers very affordable in the reviews from part time audio file magazine. Home theatre review 2012 and on stereo file magazine the enzo up for speaker of the year for only $2,500 making them the most affordable speaker they were comparing them to speakers that were over 50k. Argenta is the only dealer go in there and ask for Justin. I would like to mention they have the most affordable price for any budget. I was looking for a projector for my new home theater and Argenta was the only place that carried the one I was looking for.It was pretty far out of my way, but I thought I would go and check it out. I was not disappointed. Justin spent several hours with me explaining features and what to look for in the picture. I had done a lot of research before hand and was prepared to call him on any B, but all I got was honesty and sound advice. In the end, I got a projector that was exactly what I wanted at half the price I thought I needed to spend. I wish I had looked at them for seating as well, they had way nicer options for just a smidge more than I paid at the big box furniture store.
