Really impressed!!! We heard about Argo in Palm Beach from many people but unfortunately we could not visit this place earlier. Finally we made it. What a happy evening we all spent together in such a beautiful place. Argo was recommended to us by a friend. Made reservations 2 days in advance. Arrived as reserved, called in advance to confirm, and were told they had a big event and were not going to open until an hour later. The guy was kind of rude and not apologetic at all. read more

just bad, won't recommend to anyone! the place has a nice atmosphere but thats about it. no one greets you as you walk in. the servers and workers are all just doing other things instead of seating you. i had to seat myself and get a menu myself. no one came to me for at least twn minutes. another lady after 25 minutes did not know a server had already taken my order and thought i needed help. what i needed was water because it took over 25 minutes to get a simple glass of ice water. the food was but not very tasty, kind of bland and mediocre.the servers do not come to check up on you and come once in a blue moon. the restaurant opens at 3 pm but nothing was set up until way after that time. the 18% service charge is just an incentive for the staff to not work hard and work however they see fit. this is not good for business. The waiter responded with: "It's not my responsibility, I'm not the chef here!" to our numerous attempts of getting our kebabs and chachlik. Besides, our table was not cleaned from used dishes & rubbish even once throughout the 2,5h meal! And that's after the fact they weren't even bothered to note our reservation which we made earlier that day. DO NOT GO! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! If I could give this place zero stars, trust me, I would. This place was HORRENDOUS. From the food, to the service, to the nasty attitudes of the servers AND owner. I was a server back in college, so believe me, I understand the demands of kitchen & wait staff, but this place just needs to shut its doors. Let me sum it up for you: -staff is unprofessional and starts fights with customers -everything we asked for (missing cups/forks/extra water/etc) - we either had to wait 30-45 minutes, or did not receive at all -they constantly told us they were "out" of things on the beverage menu, like club soda, but then they would bring it out to other tables. Eventually, I noticed they were lying because they had no problem filling up a glass of club soda when I came up to the bar and realized they have a perfectly working soda gun. -the food is DISGUSTING. Even the bread was bad. -the staff was beyond slow moving. We were waiting for dessert to come out for over an hour and only received after midnight. -they refused to bring us coffee and only agreed after we demanded it -people are openly doing drugs and staff does nothing, even though there were children present -the owner and staff are dismissive of any concerns and may be the most arrogant people I've ever dealt with Guys, do yourselves a favor and spend your money elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants like this, but that have better food, service, and accommodations. Go to Chayhana Oasis instead, which is delicious and has a wonderful staff. read more

Life music with super delicious foods! All the guys that put lower ratings for this place just do not understand well the Georgian mentality and cuisine. And they are focusing on wrong things. Yes, the serving is relatively slow, but you are not in rush - aren't you? You came to enjoy excellent wine and communication at your table, and life music. This place was great. Awesome khajapuri and other things that have names I can't remember. It was packed too because everyone knows it's really good. They had a live performer who shifted from inside to outside and back and forth. The waitresses were working really hard but also they were super nice and cool and so were the waiters. The wine was great, pairs well with shots of vodka. Also the bathroom was super clean but I think I saw someone doing drugs in there??? Don't think that that's Argo's fault though. An Uber driver told me the food is excellent and he was definitely correct. The food was delicious. On a Friday night there was live music and dancing. Everyone else was Georgian so it felt like an exotic foreign travel adventure. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable, especially for food that was outstanding. Really disappointed with the the service. I decided to give it a try since it's 5 minutes away from my house. We came by reservation and they told me that they don't have me on the list despite the fact that first I came in person and then called them a day before to confirm the time. However, they couldn't fine my reservation and they were fully booked since it's Orthodox Christmas Eve. They don't have a manager in this place just owner who wasn't on the site. We didn't get any apology, no offer to come back later for later time. Service is so poor if I could I would give them zero star. Don't recommend unless you gonna ruin your evening. read more

Such a nice place and the service was fantastic, because it was later at night the restaurant was full, but the waitress that saw us and the Bartender were able to accommodate us and found us a table outside so quickly. The food was amazing, I recommend Phali ( a walnut and vegetable spread) , kebabs, adjarauli ( bread with the cheese and egg on top) paired with the wine were delicious. When I arrived, I was at the door as my wife was parking the car. There was no hostess, and as I was waiting at the door no server approached or greeted me. A minute later a short bolded guy passed by me making eye contact and went in without saying a word Finally I got seated the female server was nice and as I was eating my meql I noticed that the short bolded guy who passed by me at the door and did not say a word as I was standing at the door was the manager. the food was good but you cannot expect employees to care for customers when the manager ignores customers at the door. One star is too much for this dump which is unfortunate because they have all the tools at their disposition to be a good restaurant. The food is cheap buffet level quality with Michelin star restaurant price tags; service is non existent (we literally had to physically get up and run after the waiter to ask something that would be brought in 20-30 minutes after we ask, if ever); hookah was expensive and burned after 8 minutes (hookah is supposed to be good for 40 minutes at least). The 18% on top of the bill is not the reason for bad service, management is. Chayhana Oasis also adds 18% service fee on top of the total but the service is 100% THE BEST you will ever experience in a restaurant. Not to mention their food is extraordinary and never ever disappoints. Save your money, dining experience and nerves, and just go to Chayhana Oasis. PS. I will laugh if the owner of Argo will reply to this review that I am a jealous competitor writing this to diminish his ratings (as he did for some of other bad (but accurate) reviews). read more

We were really looking forward to dinner and love trying new places. The place is interesting, authentic and had lots of families as well as live entertainment. But the service was the worst! The waitress didn't care that we were new, don't speak Georgian or Russian and had questions about menu items. She made no suggestions nor tried to assist. We got past that, received our wine and were looking forward to a tasty dinner experience. 80 minutes later we still didn't have our meal while tables around us, whowe occupants arrived after us, had already eaten. When we questioned the waitress, she was defensive, blamed the kitchen and said "it's not my fault". We left before the food came. There was also at 15% "service charge" on the bill. I asked about it and she said "it's for the employees' salaries". We won't go back. It's really a shame because the appetizer we did get was very good, and the atmosphere was fun. Me and my friends were regular costumers in this place. We do like the food, we do like the atmosphere but the management has to pay attention to the girl who does picture for the guests. First of all she is being very pushy, interrupting our conversation by pushing us to go to the dance floor even tho we don't want, so she can take a couple pictures and will try to sell us. When my friend bought a picture from her, after some time my friend wanted to change one photo to another (which was offered in the beginning) the photograph said that she has no rights to change a picture she has to buy another one. And the biggest shock was for us, when the photographer took a pic of my friend and she was trying to sell this pic to her, but my friend didnt like it cause she didnt like how she looks there. And this girl with super mean face answered in a very rude form to my friend that they don't use photoshop here and with all her mimicking was trying to show us how she annoyed that my friend won't buy a picture. It was shocking to hear that, I wanted to talk to the manager, but we didnt want to ruin our celebration. I never seen attitude like this nowhere, so I am asking management to watch her behavior, so she doesn't bother other guests that much as she bothered us. read more

Absolutely horrible service, customer service & banquet portions for $95 per person! The one star given is for the decor & music! This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend and we decided to give it a try. Had I known the chef left to Georgia recently and they changed him we wouldn't have gone. We are from NJ and were told to go there. Food was cold and tasteless. One server for a party of 18 that disappeared after asked for something. Certain staff members shouldn't work in an environment like this if they don't know how to speak to customers! They ran out of juice that was included in our banquet menu and after asking 4 times for more they finally said they are out of it. We asked for them to bring something else instead they stated it's extra. We ended up having to go to cvs and buying iced tea and juice. Plates were not switched until we demanded them to do so as well as the table. We received our dessert a little after midnight! Ridiculous and unacceptable. A table next to us was smoking marijuana freely with children & seniors coughing around then and they said nothing! They claim to have police/security for customers safety there but not one would was seen. Staff & kitchen staff site masks on their chins. No covid precautions whatsoever. Spoke to the owner who rushed me off the phone and argued with me as well instead of saying "I apologize for your experience but if you come back again I will fix it" as a normal owner of a restaurant would.
