This review is about the new cafe argonaut on the sleeping lady campus. I was very disappointed with my experience after my boyfriend and I were exited to finally check this place out. The service was terrible to put it bluntly. There was nothing special about the customer service I felt judged as soon as we walk in the person at the counter looked me up and down and roll there eyes as they were telling us that our drinks would be called up at the counter. The cold turkey sandwich also tasted like it was just turkey and soggy bread. The side salad was just greens with a vinegar dressing which wasn't bad but wasn't anything special. The only ok thing that we had was the hot ham sandwich, which was actually a decent sandwich if you want something warm to eat when it's cold. The drinks were ok but I've had better lattes with better service. Over all the experience was not great and the overall vibe was pretentious and unwelcoming. read more

This is my favorite place to go when I am in Leavenworth. I went on a trip and ate here for 5 days in a row. It's a small little coffee shop with an outdoor sweating area. The biscuits are amazing! I am not a biscuit person but the breakfast biscuit sandwich is so good! I also had the veggie and chorizo burrito and they do not disappoint at all. I would recommend this place to anyone who goes to Leavenworth, it is so good! read more

This place is amazing. We used to go to their little coffee stand and we were excited to see that they opened a new, bigger location as well. Where do I start?Their biscuit sandwiches are to die for, also highly recommend their biscuits with butter and jam. Hipster Toast (avocado toast) is delicious, one of my favorite avocado toasts to date. AND their burritos (veggie and chorizo) are amazing as well. You honestly can't go wrong here. Absolutely fantastic! We used to go to the Argo Bar every visit and were so sad when we heard they had closed that location, however, the new location is even BETTER! WOW. Such a great place, great food, friendly staff and amazing coffee. We got the cold brew and lavender latte, both were delicious and freshly made. We also got the avocado toast and the breakfast sandwich. The biscuits are amazing and house-made, the toast was good, however, it's a little spicy, so if you don't like spice, I wouldn't recommend it. The prices were good and the ambiance was 10/10 for a coffee shop in Leavenworth. We will definitely be back! *Side note, it is pretty busy.. so make sure you have some time to spare. Great lattes. Try the Medici Mocha. It's scrumptious. The employees were very personable and showed me how they make that special drink.

Busy busy busy. Ordered a large coffee and they sell coffee in small medium and large and a large is only like 12 oz. A 12 oz at Starbucks is a small. It's ridiculous. Biscuits with butter are over $5. I won't buy cuz I make my own biscuits that r amazing and free. Coffee was whatever. I wouldn't buy it here again. It costs over $6! They should sell an actual size "large" coffee that's like 20oz. read more

They were out of the plain biscuit with butter and jam, so I got a savory one, and it was a real treat. The tall latte was also pro caliber. My wife and daughter thought their drinks were exceptional, and my wife loved the avocado toast. Service was friendly and prompt, and we scored three seats in the tiny shop; some people hung out on the front patio despite the freezing temperatures. I can't imagine that there's better coffee and biscuits in the county. read more

We went there for breakfast and had their phenomenal breakfast burritos. The tortillas are the best I ever had. They are crispy, warm and the texture is just the best. We sat outside and accompanied the breakfast with their great coffee. The service is great as well. I only can recommend that place. read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars not for the quality of the biscuits, but for the lack thereof. We tried to get the biscuits twice on our Leavenworth trip: once at 1pm (kitchen was closed), second at 11am (they were out). I really wish they made more biscuits so we could have tried them. Yum! This place is so convenient to get coffee in Leavenworth. There's a huge parking lot next door. You stand in a line to wait to order drinks and food and then they call your name over a speaker so it's easy to hear. I got a biscuit with jam, and the biscuit was saltier than I expected. Delicious coffee; my wife had the lavender honey latte and I had the Medici mocha. Both had a delicious balance and paired perfectly with our carne asada burrito and savory biscuit with salted butter that we split. The burrito was perfect with the home made hot sauce. The biscuit was flaky with pockets of cheese and rosemary. I tried a blueberry goat cheese galette that I took to go and it too was delicious!
