My wife went to this office with so much hope and trust, looking for a simple under-eye filler treatment to help her feel more confident. Instead, the experience has been heartbreaking for both of us. After the procedure, her under-eye area became noticeably darker and more sunken, and watching her lose confidence in her appearance has been painful. What made the whole situation even harder was the lack of compassion and support we felt. There was no genuine effort to understand how upsetting this was for her or to guide us through what could be done next. I'm not a person who normally writes reviews, however when someone has made such an impact on my life, I feel compelled to share my story. I'm a middle aged male that has worked my entire life in the beauty and fashion industry, so maintaining the best image possible has always been important to me. For the last 10 years the aging process has been working double time on me. When they say "your eyes are the windows to your soul" mine were looking very old and sad. My upper brow skin was sagging over my eyelids and my under eyes were constantly puffy and swollen. I went in for a little Botox and filler. I chose doctor Dhir because he is gives a very natural look and that's what I was going for. I have to admit he does do a great job at Botox and fillers as far as placement goes. I loved that part. He recommended for me to get a PRP facial. I said okay. His assistant did majority of the work and he came in and went over her work. The next day my pores were bigger than before. I went back in for a check up as requested and I asked him about the size of my pores and he didn't have a solution but he did suggest he'd do Botox on me and I was very worried so I declined. It healed very nicely but after a few months the effects went away and my pores are even bigger than they were before now and that is what I'm left with. I wish I never did the facial with him but it's too late now. He also recommended a nose job for me when I only went in for Botox and fillers but I told him I like my ethic nose. When I asked for photos of his work on a ethnic nose like mine he referred me to IG lol he had nothing to show in office to make me understand what he wanted to do. I was just supposed to go based off of his word I guess. After reading his rhinoplasty reviews I'm glad I stuck to my guns. This review is long overdue, but that's because it's so hard to put into words how absolutely incredible my journey with Dr. Dhir has been. Dr. Dhir and his staff have always given me the best service and are the nicest people. I want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to Gladys, Dr. Dhir's patient care coordinator. Throughout my journey, she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and always took the time to reply to all my incessant emails and silly questions. I cannot thank her and Dr. Dhir's staff enough for making me feel right at home and welcomed in his office. I would say that I'm a pretty particular person. I do my homework when I look for the best care and best reviewed doctors when it comes to any aspect of my health. I was referred to Dr. Dhir by my incredible ENT (Ear, Nose Throat) doctor, Dr. Vanessa Rothholtz, whose surgery portion was fully covered through my health insurance (thankfully). I originally saw Dr. Rothholtz, who addressed my deviated septum and informed me that she does not do a Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty combination on her patients, but that she works with a few plastic surgeons who do that portion of the surgery on the surgery date. She gave me a few recommendations, all of which were great, but Dr. Dhir stood out to me amongst them all. I scheduled a consultation with him in August of 2019 and from the start he was amazing. I remember at my consultation introducing ourselves to each other, and then as I started to explain what I was looking to achieve for my Rhinoplasty, he stopped me mid-sentence and said, "Woah, Kelsey we have a full hour together. I want to get to know you! Where are you from? What do you do? Etc. etc." I was so touched by this. It felt so refreshing that Dr. Dhir actually wanted to take the time to get to know me, discuss my nose goals, and then make sure I felt that he was the right fit for me. I remember him asking me if I saw any of the other surgeons Dr. Rothholtz had referred me to. I told him no and that I didn't feel the need to look any further because he was the one for me! I could tell that meant a lot to him. He made it his mission that we would work together to achieve my aesthetic goals for my nose while also being very realistic, which I highly respect him for! He truly takes the time to get to know his patients and really does care for and about them. Whenever I see him for my post-op appointments, it feels like we're old friends catching up because he's just that comfortable to be around. He is a remarkable human being and doctor! SO, now onto my nose and surgery: As you can see in my pictures, I didn't have the classic rhinoplasty where I had a "beak" or strong side profile hump. My biggest insecurity was in my ¾ profile view where my bones were more prominent. I also wanted my profile shaved down a bit, but nothing too drastic and wanted to keep my tip the same. On the day of my pre-op appointment, Dr. Dhir and I went over these concerns again. He worked with me and told me everything's 100% achievable and that he would lift my tip just a little to harmonize it with everything else. I told him I was very nervous about scarring under my nose and that I was very much against the side creases of my nostrils being cut open because I've seen people with rhinoplasty incisions in that area that scar badly. He told me that he would only cut the creases if he absolutely had to in order to achieve our goal. He told me he sews patients up in a very strategic way so they will either have no scars at all or a very minimal appearance of them. Although I was a bit nervous, he reassured me. I'm glad I gave him my trust because he ended up only having to cut under the tip of my nose and I don't even have a visible scar there anymore! I also purchased the scar gel he sells in his office and used it for a long time post-surgery, which I highly recommend doing. The few weeks before my surgery my anxiety was running so high. I had no idea what to expect because I had never gone through a surgery this big before. I had surgery in early December 2019. It was WAY LESS painful than I had ever imagined. The only thing that was awful was getting the nose stents out. The post-op experience isn't really painful, but more-so uncomfortable. I also recommend buying Arnica Forte, "Speed the Healing'' from Dr. Dhir's office. I made sure I was thorough with following all of the pre-care so I'm sure that helped a lot with my recovery. I had very minimal bruising, which was surprising to him and Dr. Rothholtz. Both Dr. Dhir and Dr. Rothholtz made me feel at ease. They worked together as a power duo to help me breathe and give me a new nose that has now made me feel SO confident! I cannot thank the both of them enough, as they have truly changed my life. He injected only ONE of my masseters with 20 units of Botox and it led to a MULTITUDE of issues. He also suggests procedures that you did not go in for. Again, SALES. I know plastic surgery is a business, but a good Dr. will ultimately put the patients best interest at hand. Yes, I asked for only one masseter to be injected, but I had NO idea you should never do that. Nor how many units he used at the time, I thought it was very little & only wanted to even out my masseters. I believe he will say yes to anything to take your $$. When I came to him with my issues (pain, & facial numbness from my non injected masseter growing so fast) he said I needed a psychiatrist. I had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Dhir in 2020. 6 months after the surgery I noticed very obvious indentations on both sides of my nostrils and could no longer breath through my nose alone. He stated to give it time to heal and he would do a revision if needed. At the 1 year mark I still had this issue and the indentations were deeper making me a chronic mouth breather. Dr. Dhir has now back peddled saying he doesn't recommend revision and tried telling me "air is getting through even though it doesn't feel like it". He did not keep what was to be my 1.5 year consultation and now I'm left searching for a new surgeon to do a revision. No I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone seeking rhinoplasty. He under delivered and went back on his promise to fix any issues that might come along. read more

Not only are Dr. Dhir and his staff personable, funny, warm and inviting, the man is an ARTIST. Nothing about our interactions are clinical - it's like catching up with an old friend! I don't want anyone to know except me." -- when I went to surgery the day of my operation he had printed out all of my Face-tuned photos as inspiration around the operating room! We put on a Katy Perry song of my choice and I felt so seen, taken care of and understood. I knew I was in excellent hands with a surgeon that knew my facial structure better than me! And from day one, he always told me my face was perfect and I didn't NEED anything. It's about play, art, fun, joy, enhancement, polishing. The results have changed my life. I had a particularly tricky rhinoplasty I avoided for years. I did not have a huge bridge but rather a bulbous tip that I felt was getting larger/droopier with age. After following dr. Yesterday was my 1st time getting treatment for my TMJ and I'm so happy I went to him. I did my research and saw him on IG, YouTube and Mixed Make Up. I decided he would be the best fit for my needs. In 2021 I had what I felt was a significant issue to the upper left side of my lip. An oral surgeon removed a large amount of tissue and left me with a large scar and deformity. Not only did it change my appearance it was extremely uncomfortable and something I thought about nearly every moment I was having a conversation with someone. In early 2022 I made the decision to research plastic surgeons that could potentially fix my issue. I spoke with several medical professionals throughout the country. The decision to fly across the country and have Dr. Dhir work on my lip was one of the easiest decisions I have ever made. After speaking with the professionals I did, it was apparent Dr. Dhir possessed the skillset necessary to address an area of my lip others Dr.s said would be very challenging. His communication and listening skills, his empathy and his desire to restore my lip to its original state were major factors in my decision to utilize the services of Dr. Dhir, and I have not regretted one minute of it. Prior to the procedure, the Dr. had already requested numerous pictures, and had even had (2) FaceTime calls with me before even agreeing he was up to the task at hand. The day came to fly to LA to have my procedure done, a procedure that Dr. Dhir indicated would take 2-3 visits. He was very up front about the cost, the length of each procedure and most importantly the process. He managed my expectations extremely well. I arrived at his office and was greeted by his staff. I was immediately taken back to have photographs taken of the affected area of my lip, I was then taken to a room where Dr. Dhir was to perform the procedure. He came in shortly after I was seated and we proceeded to speak for about 15 minutes. He spoke with me throughout the procedure, indicating what he was doing and what he was seeing, constantly giving me feedback. The process lasted about 45 minutes and he allowed me to rest in the room before heading back to the airport to catch my flight home. The days following the procedure I consistently checked in on by Dr. Dhir's team and was asked to send numerous pictures so they could assess their work and begin planning their approach to my next procedure in 2-3 months. Fast-forward 2-3 months and after my second procedure I am confident my lip is almost back to normal thanks to Dr. Dhir and his team. Although my procedure was very important to me, it was relatively minor given the number and type of cases most plastic surgeons see. However, the time Dr. Dhir and his team invested in me spoke volumes. If he cared this much about making sure my procedure was performed successfully, how would he approach a case that is more complex? I am confident in this teams pragmatic approach to delivering results for even the most difficult cases and there is no part of me that would hesitate to recommend Dr. Dhir and his team for any issue that falls in his scope of work. read more

Although this review is from my surgery 7/12/12, Dr Dhir is still my doctor and is as wonderful as ever...everything below still stands and if I could give him 6mil stars, I would! I don't know how to honestly put into words how thankfully I am to Dr Dhir. I came to see him knowing what was probably going to be necessary but scared to actually willingly choose nasal surgery. He was wonderful, thorough yet didn't waste time in the consultation and (sensing my fear possibly?) recommended we take a conservative approach and try other methods first. I loved that he didn't want to immediately run to cutting. When a seemingly unrelated medical issue popped up, another specialist said I'd need surgery and that the cause was actually related to my nose, so I'd need nasal surgery as well. He recommended 2 doctors and to my great pleasure 1 happened to be Dr Dhir. PRE-OP: What followed was 2 weeks of pre op visits, tests & scheduling that left me feeling like the most important patient in the world to both doctors - when I had trouble finding an independent doctor to do my pre-op, Dr Dhir's office came up with a host of great suggestions...that worked! Dr Dhir & my other Dr were on hand for all of my questions (and from this wordy note you can assume I had a few!!) and Dr Dhir even scheduled a conference call with my out of town family so they could get all of their questions answered by him as well.DAY OF SURGERY: The day of surgery (although a bit of a blur thankfully!!) couldn't have gone more smoothly - Dr Dhir arrived early as he knew I was nervous - made little jokes and took my pre-op photos himself. He distracted me as best he could prior to me going under & then made sure to check in with my family that was at the hospital after surgery. He then yet again went the extra mile - calling my out of town family himself to give a full update also. POST OP: Post op care was as good or better (if that's even possible) with phone calls and visits immediately following surgery - and my surgery was on a Friday. He called no less than 5 times over the weekend alone...all just to make sure I was doing ok & didn't have any questions. He even stayed late one night because he knew I was uncomfortable and he didn't want me to have to wait an extra day for the removal of the packing. It should also be mentioned that Gladys in his office is an absolute doll. She called frequently as well to check on me herself - and she too made me feel like a VIP before, during and after surgery - even held my hand when I was nervous about some of the post op stitches coming out...a total class act!! NOW: I'm almost 10 weeks post op & I'm sleeping thru the night for the first time in as long as I can remember - I can breathe fully and as a bonus side effect I'm losing weight because I'm able to work out longer, harder and better...and the extra icing on the cake? While he was fixing the septum and sinus issues, he did a slight aesthetic fix as well and...my nose is GORGEOUS! It looks still real & just mine...only very subtly better! People keep telling me how I look happier..or healthier...but no one can really put their finger on it until I point it out...exactly what I was going for since my nose was nice to begin with! IN SUMMARY: In an age when everyone is in a hurry to move on to the next task, Dr Dhir is a unique gift of a man to have found - he truly cares about his patients as if they were his family - and I now feel like he's a part of mine! He solved my medical issues while also giving me a beautiful enhancement to my current nose - rare to find this ability in 1 doctor. All I can say is that I'm so happy that I was introduced to Dr. Karan Dhir and his assistant, Gladys. I have nothing but great things to say about them. I was referred to Dr. Dhir through an amazing cosmetic dentist, Dr. Anjali Rajpal, and took an instant liking to him. He has such a warm,caring and fun personality. I was relieved to see him because I had struggled with problems at my last plastic surgeons office and felt like I was taken advantage of there. Dr. Dhir is amazing along with his staff who are warm and welcoming. He is always sure to answer all of my questions and explain any little thing I am concerned with. I never feel rushed or uncomfortable at any time during my visits. Dr. Dhir has always been very honest and helpful in offering his suggestions and is spot on in addressing my aesthetic goals. Dr Dhir and his staff are the best in the business! His attention to detail and final results were astonishing. My 13-year-old son suffered a nasty dog bite on his mouth. Dr. Dhir stitched his upper lip leaving hardly any scar. And that's after only 7 days!! It might be completely unnoticeable as time goes on. I was referred to Dr Dhir by a good friend who raved about the treatment she had done. I went in for a consultation and found his office in Beverly Hills very stylish and the treatment room very bright and airy. I knew I was in the right place when I heard Beyonce playing in the waiting room. Dr. Dhir is very knowledgeable about the latest treatments and he put me at ease as I've been wanting to have my crow's feet taken care around my eyes with botox and my also on my forehead. I work in the entertainment industry and was interested for a face 'freshener' before big events during the upcoming award season months. My concern was that it'd look overdone for a male but I love the results and he did the botox treatment in a minimal way as it is not overdone or feminine. My good friend looked at my pictures and told me I better keep at it because it's been a great change and I look much more rested. I'm thrilled with the results! Dr. Dhir's staff was friendly an attentive, the appointment was done in efficient time and they even let me pick what music I wanted on while they did my procedure. We decided on a Whitney Houston melody. During my consultation Dr. Dhir went over areas for improvement with my face as that is his specialty. He was not overly pushy and did not use sales tactics but merely made suggestions for improvements and done in a nice way as to not make me feel old and haggard. He also gave me background on his personalized chin implants which I've decided I'm in need of. Apparently you can pick a picture of a hunky male model and he can work his magic to copy the chin line with a customized silicon implant. I definitely want to look into that for the future. He also went over a few other points and gave me recommendations and a vendor for skin care. I was appreciative that he made recommendations from his circle of contacts to improve my appearance. The best part about my experience with Dr. Dhir was that I did not feel that I was coming in for a sales pitch. He did not recommend treatments that I did not need and emphasized minimal treatments over time to keep my face looking fresh. He also was not pushy about everything done now! He said to keep up with my fitness which has been a project and to come in once I am happy with my weight so that we analyze the chin situation for a recommendation. He was also very honest about pricing which I appreciated. From other's experiences I have heard that some doctors give you the run around and say "oh I'll have someone discuss pricing with you separately" but Dhir was upfront and to the point. He let me know pricing and what I could expect. I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise and I really felt like he wanted to get to know me as a person and what treatments would be best for my lifestyle. I cannot be happier with my experience at Dr. Dhir's office. I came to Dr. Dhir inquiring about Botox for my forehead, between my eyes, and on the sides. I'm 28 years old, I wasn't sure if Botox was even for me. As much as I wanted to do it, I was still scared. I have never met a doctor that has made me feel so comfortable and taken so much time to answer any questions. Even his staff is friendly, supportive, and beyond caring. I went into the office not sure if I was going to get Botox and I left so happy with the outcome. Dr. Dhir knew I was more conservative and didn't pressure me into anything. He really listened to my concerns and kept everything we talked about in mind through the process. He doesn't sugarcoat anything. I asked, "is it painful?" I think that's a common question. He explained exactly what it would feel like, and everything he explained was spot on. And no, it's really not that painful, just a poke that lasts less then a second. Dr. Dhir is gentle and takes his time. I waited to write this review because I wanted to see how long the Botox lasted and how I felt after having it done. People thought I looked younger! I couldn't believe it!! I would get comments like, "you look great, what are you doing different." It's been almost 4 months and it's slowly starting to fade away, exactly as Dr. Dhir had said. He said it's common to get it done every 3-4 months. I'm stretching it to every 4 months just because it fades off so slowly and I personally don't want to over do it. THE BEST!!! I had an unbelievably positive experience with Dr. Dhir and his awesome staff. From the moment I walked into his office on the day of my consultation, I was given nothing less than the absolute best. I was greeted right away and placed in a room with panoramic views of Beverly Hills. The office was one of the most beautiful and calming offices that I have ever visited. I then met with Gladys, who was lovely! She listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions, and helped make me feel at ease about my consultation with Dr. Dhir. I then met with Dr. Dhir who listened closely to my concerns as I looked into the hand mirror and explained what I was hoping to achieve, he made the same recommendations as Gladys, which was assuring and made me feel like I was in the right hands! Dr Dhir was kind and extremely patient. I truly feel he listened to my every concern and walked me through everything step by step. He advised me to take things slowly and really made me feel like he cared for me. I had the procedures done and am ecstatic with my results!! My Botox softened my frown and lifted my brows a bit which I LOVE. Nothing is frozen, my whole face moves and is super natural looking. The Voluma was life changing; it easily took 5 years off of my face by lifting my cheeks and creating a super natural and rejuvenated look.
