Dr. Irvani and his staff are a 10. My mom and sister originally referred me, and I referred my significant other. Dr. Irvani's hygienist encouraged flossing and explained the importance. I guess I needed to hear it because my oral care has done a 180 since coming to this office. I no longer have dental issues because they taught me how to care for my teeth. I will forever be thankful to Dr. Irvani for when he did extensive dental work on my father when he was in his late 80s. He was so kind and so patient with him. I can't recommend Dr Irvani enough. My regular dentist was out of town and I was in so much pain on a Sunday. His website has a phone number for after hours emergencies. I texted him and within minutes he got back to me and was able to help. He came into the office straight from a plane and got me out of pain for the night til I could get a root canal the next day. He personally checked in with me to see how I was doing multiple times, answered my questions right away. I'm so thankful I found him. read more

Dr. Irvani gradutated with top honors for USC school of dentistry. Through out the years he has kept abreast of the most recent advancements in dental technology. He has earned his Mastership in Academy of General Dentistry after completeing rigorous continuing education requirements over a 5 year period. This honor is awarded to less than 3% of the practicing dentists in the United States. He is also frequent author and contributor to major dental publications. We recently relocated to our brand new state of the art facility which has gotten rave reviews from existing and new patients alike. In our practice we believe in treating our patients with honesty and in a way we would want to be treated. We are only interested in doing what is dentally necessary to the best of our ability.We will merely inform you of the procedures we feel you need in order to maintain optimum oral health and it's your decision whether to proceed. After the technician took my X-rays, I sat in the exam room for a few minutes until Dr. Lee came in and introduced herself. She quickly looked at my X-rays and told me I had "severe" gum inflammation and that I needed a gum laser procedure to push them down and eliminate the inflammation. She also said I would need to come back for a deep cleaning. I looked at her in disbelief and could tell she was completely full of it. Then, the best part: she said we wouldn't be doing a cleaning today because it would just "spread the bacteria." She was EXTREMELY pushy about all of this, insisting I needed to do it ASAP, and that she was going to walk me to the front to pay for the procedure and schedule it. Yes, that's correct--she wanted me to pay for the procedure up front. The cost of the procedure was $1,800, not including the deep cleaning. I calmly told her I was going to think about everything and get back to them. She looked shocked and insisted that we needed to get it done immediately, but I said I needed to think it over. After that, you could tell she knew she wasn't going to get another scam sale, and she became unfriendly and cold. The entire situation was extremely bizarre and unacceptable, especially because, as someone in their 30s who gets cleanings every year, I knew there was no truth to her claims about the inflammation or the need for any procedure. I then checked Yelp and saw that many other 1-star reviews mentioned the EXACT same experience--what a scam, and they need to be reported to the BBB. The best part of all of this, three weeks later I drove 2 hours to my original dentist in my old city that I moved from, and she did new X-Rays and said my teeth and gums looked great other than slight tarter buildup that a cleaning would take care of. They did the cleaning right then as planned, and it was a totally normal dental visit with nothing out of the ordinary. I just want to warm everyone to please not go to Smile on You Dentistry in Lake Forest, or any of their other locations for that matter. There is no way they can keep up with this scam, I guarantee someone will sue or report them if they haven't already.

I called to book a dental cleaning. I was VERY clear. (Spoiler alert: I did not receive a dental cleaning.) Instead, I got x- rays and then the dentist came in, took pictures, and told me I needed 5500 worth of dental work (!!). 30 minutes into the appt/sales pitch, I asked about my dental cleaning. I was told I would not be getting one that day, only after I booked the expensive procedures. What on earth!? I asked for an itemized bill , they could not provide one but said they would email me later. All they gave me was a form for a credit company to get the 4500.00!! So you can come up with the fees but not explain them? I cancelled my future appts and am going back to my very reasonable and honest dentist a little further away. What a waste of precious time.

Dr. Irvani has been our dentist for over ten years. Their staff from administration to their hygienist are top notch. Very professional and courteous! Everyone in the administration, Samantha, Foujan and Krissy are kind, helpful and organized! They are very knowledgeable and passionate about helping you with insurance paperwork and are proactive with schedules and checkups. Neda and Melanie are the hygienists and are informative and professional. I come out feeling great and not to mention, they give great advice and are very kind. Dr Irvani is highly professional and takes his time to explain procedures and gives great advice. Dr. Irvani does minimal drilling and best of all, does an amazing job to preserve your teeth without pain. He really does care about your dental health. Super nice guy! Dr. Irvani's assistants, Star and Marjan are the best that I have ever experienced! Before seeing Dr. Irvani they prepare you and go over what the doctor will be discussing and will also inform Dr. Irvani on any concerns you may have. They do go above and beyond! I swear I hate the way this site decides NOT to work sometimes.!! There have been five of us who go to Dr. Irvani from my work and everyone is really happy with him. Yelp somehow keeps filtering the reviews! I came here last week to ask for a braces consultation and what not. Pat the office manager was really nice as always and explained everything in detail. They see patients on time which I really appreciate since I can only go there during lunch time. Every time I go in I get greeted with a huge smile by the girl at the fron who always remembers my name. I cant remember her name now. The office itself is very clean. They use text and email service to remind you of your appointment. since you dont always want to pick up the phone to answer. It maybe overwhelming for some people but you can opt out of the one or both services. The hygienists are both really nice and friendly and they always remember everything about you. NIce to know you are not a number LOL. There are 4 things I LOVE about this office and I have been to plenty of dental offices. 1- They are honest, no pushy sales pitch.You never get the feeling that they are out to get your money. 2- They office is very clam and uncluttered with large windows. They must scrub the place after every patient! 3- They do everything in the office which means I do not have to to another office to get braces of implants etc. It can be a real pain. 4- They are really up to date. You dont feel like you stepping back in a time machine. The magazines are fresh and not from 5 years ago. I appreciate that. Overall everyone is friendly, kind and everything is explained beforehand. Finding a good dentist is like throwing a dart at the names and picking the name where it lands! When my dentist retired, he sold his practice to a large group and I decided it was time to move on. I found Dr. Irvani's name on my insurance website list of dentists. I liked the fact that he had graduated from USC. Being a UCLA graduate, I decided to take a chance anyway. It is not very often in life that you do things right the first time and I guess this was one of those occasions. Being busy with a lot of business travel and having two young kids does not leave you a lot of time to yourself, but I finally took the plunge after procrastinating for two years and made an appointment with Dr. Irvani. The staff was courteous, punctual and very friendly. Dr. Irvani was very professional, with a great chair side manner. Not having been to the dentist for two years made me very apprehensive about potentially needing a lot of work, but it turns out that some check up Xrays and a simple cleaning was all I needed. The hygienist was very thorough and very nice. The dentist even stopped by afterwards to do one final check and say goodbye. If I had to complain, it would have to be the parking, it is not terrible but it took me a few minutes to find a spot. It may have been just that day but oh well we cannot have everything. Over all the service was exceptional; the facility is first rate and Dr. Irvani was very caring and personable. I would highly recommend him. read more

I have been going to Dr. Irvani for several years now. I have always had a great experience and feel valued by him and his staff. Today's' visit is a perfect example. I called this morning as soon as the office opened, mentioned that I had a sudden severe toothache and asked if they could work me in as soon as possible. They offered me an appointment immediately after I got off from work. I arrived a few minutes early, and they took me in right away. I was X-rayed within 2 minutes, and Dr. Irvani came in to see me only a minute or two later. Sadly, I will be needing a root canal. This does not surprise me based upon previous experience. I have been through this rodeo before (on a different tooth), and before the previous root canal Dr. Irvani spent several minutes explaining why I need one, what the process would be like, and what I could do to help minimize the pain and unpleasantness. He took plenty of time to reassure my nervousness and I went to the endodontist feeling prepared and reassured. And every piece of advice Dr. I gave me was spot on....the root canal itself (at least for me) wasn't as scary or painful as the media would sometimes lead you to believe. And much less painful than the toothache that preceded it. So though I am less than thrilled to be having another one, I am pleased that I received treatment so quickly and can look forward to feeling better tomorrow. read more

All I have to say is "Dr. Irvani is the most amazing dentist ever". And I've been to many so i think I'm entitled to make that statement!! What a great office. First time I called in to the office was for an emergency. They got me in right away. When I got there, I didn't have to fill out a thousand forms before I was seen. I've always had such anxiety when it comes to dental treatment. But Dr. Irvani was so kind and caring and made me feel so much more comfortable. He took the time to explain to me what i needed to have done and the girls in the front office went over the finances. so they didn't surprise me with the bill post treatment and I really appreciated that. He fixed my tooth and I've been back a few times since. His dental Hygienist neda is fantastic. She is so pleasant and has such gentle hands. I actually look forward to my dental cleaning appts. now. This is my first review ever on yelp, but because of a such a great experience I had to let everyone know how wonderful of an experience I had. First of all the staff there are all so polite and caring. The ladies at the front desk treat you like family and will go over and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I didn't have to wait in the waiting room but maybe 5 minutes. I had two appointments and got in within the same week and they were willing to work around my schedule. I unfortunately needed a root canal and a crown and was so scared because I had never had one before. Dr. Irvani made me feel very safe and comfortable. I was in and out for both my root canal and crown with out feeling a single thing and it seriously was the fastest dentist appointment I have ever had. I got to watch T.V will the procedure was being done, but really didn't need the distraction for how pleasant everything was. I drove an hour to get to the office, but it was so so worth the drive. I never thought I would Like going to the dentist until now. I strongly strongly recommend Dr. Irvani and will be back for any appointments I need!!!! I think Dr. Irvani is an excellent dentist and has a very patient friendly practice. I have had quit a bit of dental work over the past 15 years, so you could say that I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to dental offices. My job changed my insurance plan to a PPO plan as a cost cutting measure and my old dentist felt that he did not want to deal with the hassle so I had to switch dentists. Pat the office manager spent quite a bit of time explaining my benefits and gave me fairly accurate estimate of my out of pocket costs (no one likes surprises). Their office has convenient hours, is incredibly clean and it is more up to date than any other office I have been to. They have WiFi service in the office and they use email and text messaging to confirm appointments while maintaining a very personal touch all the way. Finding a dentist who is open late on weekdays or weekends is quite hard but Dr. Irvani has made it a point to really work around his patients' schedule so they can always find an appointment that suites you. Everytime I go in I run into happy patients who are laughing and smiling. Always a good sign at a dental office!! read more

Dr. Irvani is the best dentist ever!!! To rate his office with five stars doesn't do it justice. The office staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Irvani is extremely qualified and competent. I've been going to him for all of my dental needs for the past 15 years. When I first went to his office, I went for a second opinion. My previous dentist had given me a long list of things that needed to be done. When I saw Dr. Irvani, he said that all of those things weren't necessary, and all I needed was one filling. Today, I went in for a root canal. I was extremely scared and nervous because my last root canal, almost 17 years ago, was a nightmare! About half way through the root canal, I felt a jolting pain as the dentist was drilling. I will never forget that feeling. It hurt so bad, I almost passed out. However, my root canal today with Dr. irvani was quick and absolutely PAIN FREE!!!! I couldn't believe it. I highly recommend that anyone with a fear of going to the dentist, must go to Dr. Irvani. I promise you will be pleasantly surprised. I have recommended several family and friends to go here. read more

Dr. Irvani and his staff are just great. I relocated from Seattle because of my job. I had the same doctor and the same dentist for over 10 years and I was quite comfortable. I talked to a lot of my co workers and did my research before choosing Dr. Irvani. The co workers who had gone to his office raved about his level of service, honesty and what a great dentist he was. I could not agree with them more. I made my first appointment during my lunch time. Since I had filled out the information online, there was little else to do other than provide them with my insurance information. I was seen within 5 minutes of arrival. Dr. Irvani personally came in and introduced himself and did his examination. He is quite personable and I can say this was probably my best dental visit. My previous dentist had told me that I had a couple of cavities but rather than recommending to fill them right away, Dr. Irvani advised me to wait and see if they change on the Xrays before we do anything . I have always been self conscious of my smile because of a accident I had when I was younger and had to get 2 crowns done on my two front teeth so when I was ready for cosmetic dentistry Work ( veneers) , I had to come to Dr Irvanis . I've heard such great things from a friend who referred me and from seeing all of his work on Instagram I thought I would come in for a consult. From when I walked into the door I was greeted by the front office staff who were very very nice. Ronnie and Cherie are friendly and also very professional and made my check in smooth , my wait time was no less than a minute which is rare nowadays. Dr. Irvani was very nice and and the office was clean and very welcoming. I decided to go ahead and get my veneers done here and I am so happy with the way they turned out! Dr Irvani is the best! Easily the best dentist I have ever had. Even though I'm a relatively new patient, every person on Dr, Irvani's staff makes me feel very welcome when I come in. Jessica and Stephanie are very knowledgable and helpful. I've had to reschedule a couple of times due to work obligations. Both have been so friendly and understanding when this has happened. Dr Irvani is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, very efficient and never delivers anything but his best work. He is always pleasant, gives me his full attention and gets me on my way quickly. My hygenist Neda is great as well. She is very professional, knowledgeable and efficient, just like Dr. Irvani. They make a great team. I've been having issues with some veneers that I had put on 15yrs ago. Been a struggle dealing with them breaking and just simply falling out. It happened again this morning and I called Dr Irvani's office because a friend of mine referred him. Awesome! He not only got me in the same day but stayed late to accommodate me. He did this for a new patient and that goes a long way with me. Staff was pleasant and friendly and Dr Irvani is an absolute professional and a perfectionist. Exactly what you want in a dentist that specializes in cosmetic dentistry. He fixed up my broken veneer and put a plan together to repair the others so I only have to see him twice a year for cleanings. I can say with certainty that if anyone is looing for a good dentist, Doctor Irvani is your guy. Often times dentists are out there looking to make money by diagnosing 30 cavities just so they can fill them all and charge you. Irvani is 100% trustable and not going to do that. In fact, when insurance wasn't guaranteed to cover a service they offered, they came up with a plan that worked for me even at the sacrifice of their own financial gain. They valued the quality of work more so than the money. A while ago, I ran into a major issue with a different orthodontist for my Invisalign and Irvani's staff worked tirelessly making many phone calls to properly transfer me over to them and finish my treatment. They truly care about their patients and deserve all the praise they get. They have been my dentist ever since I was a kid and I continue to be with them ever since. At 65 years old I have seen a few dentists in my lifetime. Unfortunately they have not been pleasant experiences. Pain and discomfort seemed to be the norm. My experience at Dr. Irvanis office was one of comfort, NO pain. I had to have a root canal of which I have had a few and after the anesthetic wore off had debilatating pain...not the case with Dr. Irvani. He was/is VERY sensitive to your comfort level. His staff is kind and professional. And the level of care we have received from Dr. Irvani is exceptional. When my 4-year-old daughter chipped her front tooth, he went out of his way to make her feel comfortable, and I really appreciate that he has never tried to upsell us on cosmetic procedures or treatments we don't really need, which is something we experienced all the time from our previous dentist. Also, I'm surprised by the reviewers who say they are put off by his demeanor. He may be quiet and reserved, but he has never, ever been rude or condescending. I was visiting California from the East coast when I fell and broke my two front teeth. Needless to say I was so upset that my trip was ruined. Then A friend recommended Dr. Irvani. First off, he put in two temporary teeth that looked better than my original teeth! I could go about my trip with confidence and got to take all the pictures I had hoped to take. He put in the order for my new crowns/veneers and on the last day of my trip he put my new teeth in. I was so happy with the result that I almost started to cry!! I am overjoyed with my new smile!!! He listened to what I wanted and totally delivered. His bedside manner is so calm and reassuring. I am so happy. Thank you Dr Irvani for giving me the smile I have always wanted!!!
