    Dry chicken with rice
    X P.

I Waited 20+ minutes outside despite calling 15 mins in advance like I usually always do before picking up food at restaurants. What made it worse was the door was locked from the inside but there were workers inside cooking food and they knew the customers were outside. All I ordered was chicken rice. Not a crazy amount of food but waited close to 40 minutes in the cold dark. I actually really liked the rice and bread but the chicken was too dry and flavorless. And the cost was very high it was 13 dollars for just one chicken rice. They almost always are about 7 or 8 at the halal carts. There is a Dad and Son halal cart close to here 2 mins away near Walgreens that sells food for good prices and taste great too. The only reason I didn't go there was because I wanted to see if paying more meant better experience but I was wrong......

Excellent food and incredible service - absolutely try this place!! Would recommend the lamb and the chicken!

This is half of a full order of number 8 (1 beef & 1 chicken kofta)

I have been going to Aria Kabab (both locations) for years! I normally get 1 chicken & beef Kofta, but I have tried their Tikka, pizza, sandwiches and I've never been disappointed. They have huge portions, so it normally lasts me for 2 meals. The service is always great, which is such an important thing for me! The place is more on the smaller side, but is very clean. I have referred many friends and family there, and will continue to do so in the future!

Food was incredible. I took a large group and they had it on a table buffet style for when I got there. Genuinely great service and even better people.

good food at a great price! this is one of the only fast food afgani food places around and this place did not disappoint. Ordered the extremely big family combo and was very satisfied with the meal. rice and meat were all a little dry and this stuff had to be slathered in white sauce and hot sauce.....just much like your typical chicken and rice meal from the carts this place does the job! the service was definitely lacking as the person at the counter basically ignored me for a good 10 minutes while he was chilling and having a conversation but if you're in the mood for this type of food you can go the the location or call to ask for delivery. Would come back if I ever get a hankering and theres nothing better available

I think chicken over rice ‍

The food was okay and so was the service. The only thing that tipped me off was that the same guy that charges is the same one guy that serves the Samosas and scratches his head without gloves while then grabbing your plate and putting it in a bag for you. The presentation of the food was ehh but the flavor was decent so I won't go back but won't tell anyone else to not go because the food did its job.

    Beef Kofta and Beef Tikka

I ordered the Chicken Kofta & Chicken Tikka and Beef Kofta & Beef Tikka. It was fulfilling meal served with brown rice, bread, and salad. The chicken items were juicy and flavorful, the beef items were very tender. I personally enjoyed the chicken combo more.

I live near by and came to this place not worrying about the staff being friendly, even was expecting rude. All the reviews said it was good food bit bad service. I was looking for good food. I went inside and asked for the chicken tikka and was immediatly greeted very warmly by a Hispanic gentleman. The gentleman behind the counter said it would be about 7 minutes for my order. I overheard him tell someone else it was his 2nd day working their. When my food came out he even asked me how many white sauces and hot sauces I needed(my order was to go). THE FOOD- absolutely delicious..might even be a 5/5, but im stingy on giving out fives. I found a new spot.

Cheese burger in side I put jalapeno inside its tests mannn

This is one of the best place I had food . There food are fresh and tasty delicious. Plus there service is good as all ways . The food I had in NYC you aria keep it up........

Worst food experiences ever.. I bought chicken nuggets with French fries in Ramadan.. The chicken nuggets was chewy, sour and it was smelling so bad, I had to throw the whole food. Will never go back to that place again.

After receiving the order, I asked why the green sauce--commonly included as a side with this type of meal--was missing. The employee at the counter told me they had run out. However, I noticed that there was a bottle of the same green sauce on every table in the restaurant, which made the explanation confusing and frustrating. Another concern was that the restaurant refused to accept credit or debit card payments. In 2026, declining standard electronic payment methods creates unnecessary inconvenience for customers. Unfortunately, the food quality also did not meet expectations. The lamb chops were very small and appeared dry and overcooked. Overall, the portion sizes and quality did not justify the price. Based on this experience, I would recommend that customers consider other nearby options. In my experience, Shirazi Kebab offers larger portions in their family meals and the food quality has been noticeably better.

I came in to see if I could just get some kebab's for take out but ended up feeling more adventurous on this nice day. I got chicken tandoori. Each entree comes with white or brown basmati rice, salad, homemade bread, and a side of either okra stew, pea and potato stew, lamb stew, spinach stew or curry chicken stew. As a lamb fan, I choose lamb stew. My friend had a kabob combo of chicken and beef kabobs with a salad and homemade bread. I soooo wanted to love this place since the prices didn't seem to be too high. At 7.99/meal, it was a good deal until I saw the food in the takeout containers. Jamaicans and Dominicans in the area only charge like $5 for the same amount of food but give a lot more meat, sauce, and side (plaintains). In a standard 3 section takeout box, 2/3 was filled with just rice and my tandoori in a little portion in one. It was not that flavorful and a little dry. The rice was good but how hard is rice? I love the lemon in the salad though for its freshness and loud "crisp". But following the same train of thought, how hard is salad? My friend's food was a little better. His bread was laid under the kabobs so flavor drained into it. My bread was light and buttery though but I just liked his better. His kabobs were not on sticks so I don't know how there kabobs but that's what they called them. My biggest complaint has to be the quality of meat. The stew was well seasoned but the lamb in it was so fatty I felt like I was eating pork. After a while, I had to keep looking to see if I was eating a lamb or beef kabob because the texture was so off for either really. I wanted to like this food so much more since the service was so good and they were sooo friendly. Usually when my guy friend and I walk in to non-black restaurants the servers are a little taken back (he's a giant haitian boxer) but here they were very friendly and helpful in food info. and helping us order. Overall, I would probably try a few more spots in the area before settling on one but If I didn't want anything else I would get a kabob or two.

I really enjoyed my meal overall, I would say the apps and mains were both delicious but I would give an edge to the mains. The food: Borani Banjan- This was the highlight app for me with some freshly made Afghai Naan. Man this was so good and a must order. The eggplant was cooked perfectly. Bamia- This was like a stewed Okra and I loved this dish, the okra was cooked down but the flavor was so damn good. Mantu- This was a nice delicate dumpling, it was made well but because of the cumin I couldn't help think it reminded me of Tex Mex food. Aushuk- This was OK, it was kinda strange because there was this fermented flavor to it that kinda bothered me. Chicken Afghani Kabab- I am shocked to say this but the chicken was my favorite protein. It was perfection, it was perfectly juicy with a nice smokey outer char, this was amazing. Uzbeki Qabuli Pulao- This was a braised lamb shank and was no teeth required tender. It so incredibly delicate and so delicious. Salmon- Fat slabs of salmon cooked to perfection with a nice outer smokey char. So good. Lamb Kabab- This was fine but not as exciting as the above. The lamb was chewier than I was hoping but the flavor was nice. Beef Kofta- It was like a ground meat patty. It was ok, it was a bit chewy and a bit dry but it was alright. The two I want to try on my next visit is the shrimp and the lamb chops, can't wait for a second visit.

All three surprisingly looked very similar (photos look almost identical as they had the same sauce drizzled with yogurt). The aushak has leeks inside while the mantu has beef. The beef was drier than we were used to and the aushak less flavorful with overpowering onion. The pumpkin was cooked in what looked like the same sauce as well but the baked bread it came with was good. They did offer complimentary chickpeas which were tastier however.
