I thought that meant I'd get a more laid back and relaxing service. My manicure felt rushed and the polish layers were lumpy. Too much of my cuticle was cut so that area was sore and stung when they poured alcohol on it. The pedicure was good, but the tech cut too much on the bottom corner of my big toe so I bled. They didn't hear me say ouch, but noticed the second time I complained when they poured alcohol on my toes. Not my worst experience, but also not the best.

Hanh (pronounced "Hon," like Han Solo ) did my pedicure and was so friendly, professional, and attentive. The whole salon had a welcoming vibe and everyone communicated really well. They quoted me a short wait and I was seated in about 15 minutes, even with only three technicians working and all of them busy. She recommended the hot stones for my circulation concerns (I had mild edema since I began taking a new medication 4 months ago). I hate massages with gloves on because you can hardly feel anything. She massaged each leg for about 5 minutes. They don't really scrub your feet unless you ask them in advance to really scrub the calluses off. They're always willing to accommodate. I got the mani&pedi with gel plus nail art and my cost was $60. A regular mani & pedi is $30. If you have 2 or more people call ahead and let them know so they're fully staffed for you!

I paid $43 for a basic pedicure with a single-color gel polish. I handed the technician $60, and she returned only $7 in change when it should have been $17. I didn't realize at the time that she had already kept $10 of my change as a tip so at the end, I tipped her an additional $10 in cash, which she accepted without saying a word. I don't mind tipping for good service, but tips should be given not taken without permission. For anyone visiting, make sure to double-check your total and your change before you leave.
