So about four months ago I needed huge help with my wardrobe. I walked into the store not knowing what the hell was going on and I was greeted with so many attentive employees. They will make sure that you get whatever it is you're looking for. Yes, the prices are about 30% or to 50% more expensive than Zara however you pay for what you get and you definitely get a way better experience at the store. Shout to my girl Rika who was so sweet to set up a personal styling consultation . She made sure to order specific items for me when they were released this spring and she got to know my size and my preferences and prepared for me about 20 different items to choose from . Rude. A sales associate ( or manager I couldn't tell) kept walking up to customers and blankly saying " sorry" whole holding up her phone camera. I didn't even know what she was talking about until she gestured to the phone screen that showed she was taking pictures of the store. Strange. I thought it was just me until I saw her do the same to another guest to whom she also said "sorry" before staring at them until they moved out of the way with a confused look on their face. Well this was a great find, a business that is environmentally conscience, you walk in and immediately you are attended and assisted with some magnificent clothing with many colors, textures and design. I was impressed by the quality of the clothing and the service. My daughter need a suit for her job this exquisite beatification of a boutique had some incredible pieces, we had a sales lady that really provided us with excellent customer service and at the time she was very patient and assisted my daughter in completing an order for her first professional suit. At the time they had fitting rooms open and when you finish trying on the clothing if you did not purchase the items that were tried on were immediately steamed. The fitting rooms were vault ceiling, incredible design with these gorgeous drapes that lay down to the floor like dresses on a hanger. It is pricy but worth every cent the suits were dazzling with design. Thank you for providing such quality of clothing and outstanding service by your sales persons and team. read more

Very pleased that there is an Aritzia in Walnut Creek instead of having to make the trip to SF or order online! I came in twice within two days: Monday around 2pm, and today around 11am. To my luck, the store wasn't overly crowded or swarming with people both times I came in. Tuesday morning was definitely the better time to come in, the store was almost empty and I felt like I had it to myself! Once you walk in, the layout of the store is so beautiful! I love the displays and the plants are a nice touch. The set up of the store including color schemes and simplicity is very calming, unlike other retail stores where there are bright lights everywhere and clothes are strewn about. The cleanliness of Aritzia is always impressive, just like the SF location :) Now onto the employees, SUPER nice ladies!! They're always very friendly and make you feel comfortable when you're shopping - they'll greet you when you come in, gladly start a fitting room for you while you continue shopping, and give their honest opinions about clothing and style. They're always very positive and probably the most helpful employees I've come across at any type of retail store. Thank you! I was also helped today by a girl who went out of her way to find a specific white bodysuit for me. She looked it up and let me know they could order it for me if it wasn't in store. I ended up finding another bodysuit, but I really appreciated the effort she put into helping me! I wish I had gotten her name, but she rung me up at (what my receipt says) register 001 at 11:35am today haha :) I work in the area, so I will definitely be shopping here quite often. The girls who work here are very rude and stuck up, they act like you should not be shopping there (even though they are the ones that work at a clothing store lol)! They give you dirty looks and try to grab the merchandise from you assuming you will steal. If I didn't like the clothes itself I wouldn't shop here. Not very helpful. Very stuck up & rude girls. Went in around 2pm on November 7th. The brunettes in buns were extremely hostile.

Unfortunately, my experience at this location was unacceptable and and totally unreflective of my experience with the company. I was over the return policy by 4 days (according to the store, but not the website.) I had no idea and had spent the entire previous week hospitalized after getting hit by a car on my bike and suffering a concussion. I asked for a manager and got "help" from Mani. She was rude, refused to listen or explain her reasoning (online and in store have different return policies) and denied to offer help. I told her I could call customer service and explain and she told me it was not going to happen at her store & good luck. The ONE shirt I was trying to return was purchased 14 days prior (yes 14 days!) I had all the purchase info and credit card. It was one of MANY items I bought this year, and simply wasn't up to quality standard so I decided I shouldn't wear it. After CRYING because she was so rude, I went to the San Francisco store and the manager there (Laura) IMMEDIATELY took care of it and said she could not believe that I was denied and treated so poorly. Brick and mortar retail is dying - the only way to save clothing stores is through excellent customer service. I hope that Aritzia and this store take my feedback seriously. It's pretty pathetic that this store embarrassed me, ruined a customer relationship, and failed to even be polite in the process. As a high volume retail store manager with a million policies, I've never once turned away a loyal customer for something SO petty. Taking a small loss (return) ALWAYS pays off. The customer returns, buys more, the money is made back and loyalty becomes stronger ... denying it might have saved her store $80 on one given day, but cost her potential thousands over a life time and crushed the reputation in my eyes. Aritzia is new to downtown Walnut Creek and me! The structure, flashy sign, and glass windows help them stand out. Most of the stores downtown blend in with each other until you walk through the doors. Aritzia screams, "look at me!" "Come hither!" lol... Upon entering this new land, a very helpful associate welcomed me and introduced me to the brand. Aritzia is from Canada! The store is set up like a large boutique rather than another boring retail store with clothes on the racks. The store is perfectly decorated, the fitting room is so cute! The staff is attentive, the clothes are of good quality, and I really liked the variety of merchandise. - 1 star because the prices are SO SO hefty! Everyone should stop in and visit this new addition to Broadway Plaza. Whether you make a purchase or not, you've gotta see it! read more

The costumer service here isn't great. I've been a long time shopper at Aritzia and my last trip here was just disappointing. As someone who literally works in costumer service nearby I understand that retail is a grueling and difficult job. However, my last trip to this location was just lame. I bought two pairs of pants here totaling over 300 dollars. I popped the tags off out of habit and realized later that the pants were too big. I went to go exchange the pants and I was told this would not be possible because I didn't have the tags still on. I understand this is part of the Artizia return policy but this is not a universal policy in all stores and no one at the store informed me. Additionally I was told they couldn't be taken back because they looked worn, I literally never wore the pants, I had bought them two days prior and I have a dog so they had some dog hair on it... The manager of the store made me feel like I was a jerk for asking for a return on 300 dollar pants  just because I popped the tags off like this wasn't normal. I've spent so much money at this store in the past as well so by the end of the entire thing I just kind of felt embarrassed and not valued as a customer. I've been to at least three different Aritzia stores now, and this is the most unwelcoming location. Literally horrible. I've worked in retail before and sis I know how this works, you have a shitty day great take it out in the break room or leave personal matters at home! I wasn't asking for much merely a couple questions because I've never shopped or heard of "Aritzia" and so the day I finally stop by made me definitely not want to come back at this location. I spoke to a short Asian girl and for some reason she seemed too busy to speak. Mind you it was not busy at all. Another thing to is I know I might not hear it but stores like this who sell a couple of expensive garments tend to be judgmental on people who don't look "expensive". Like sis really try me not that I'm trying to prove I'm rich or anything but if you know what I'm talking about then you know. Other than that, never coming back. As a capsule/ethical wardrober I was delighted to find Aritzia. I'm 26 and don't make a remarkable amount of money, so I was always intimidated by the storefront, knowing that I would probably be priced out of most of the clothing. It was on a whim (after returning a couple pieces across the street) that I went in-- and I fell in love. It definitely has the potential to be intimidating inside, as one sales associate (she was parallel with me the whole time refreshing the racks as I shopped) never acknowledged me though I had an arm full of clothes. But depending on the associates it can become a great experience. Another couple girls really started taking initiative to help me out, and that helped make me feel much more comfortable. Aritzia has a ton of amazing basics. Yes they are pricey, but they are forever pieces. This is not a store to shop at for trends, but is worth dropping money for staples that will last you through the years. Since it was my first time shopping there, I was a little confused about the mirror situation. At first it made me feel uncomfortable to walk out and try stuff on in front of others, but after thinking about it more it made me feel more confident about my decisions. If I couldn't walk out of the dressing room and say that I LOVED what was on my body in front of other people, then why would that change when I got home? It helped me be MORE decisive, and didn't leave me with the opportunity to talk myself into purchasing 'maybe clothing'. I also liked that the communal mirrors forced me to ask for styling advice. I was a bridal stylist for a long time, and I know that the stylists in stores are not just there to make a commission off of you, but are there because they know their fits. Twice, the sales associate I worked with tweaked the sizing of the items I tried on. It made me feel confident that we had come to the best fit decision. Even the return policy (its strict guys) makes sense for the store. I think Aritzia is a brand that is trying to push consumers towards CONFIDENT and FOREVER purchases. So when you shop here, remember that and lean into the experience instead of becoming uncomfortable with it. This is not a forever21 or a Nordstrom with a whatever-whenever return policy. This is a retailer with well made products that challenges you to think through your purchases. I love that! read more

And I didn't know exactly if I wanted to write a review or just leave my completely HORRIBLE experience as is.. but I decided to save people time and peace of mind to tell them to NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. Other stores may be better regarding custom service, but I can tell you that at this Aritzia.. I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. My 50 year old mother and I came into the store to shop for a work conference. We both ended up being helped by a shorter woman with long hair wearing sweats & no makeup. (which hey girl.. I don't mind, I get it. I worked retail for years and some days I dressed the same!) We let her know that we were going to a conference and wanted to buy some clothes. I ended up buying a trench and tank, and my mom bought a trench and a couple of other pieces. We headed to our conference and had a lot of fun! My mom didn't end up wearing her new white trench because she just wore her other Aritzia trenches she had bought previously. A couple of weeks later, we both returned to the store so that my mom could return her coat. She decided that she didn't need a white trench, and it was unworn so she wanted to return it! She had shopped at the store before but had never returned anything, so she was unaware of the return policy. When we went back into the store, we were greeted by the same sales associate who had previously helped us with our purchases around 3 weeks prior. She asked us why we were there and we told her that we wanted to return the white trench coat. The next part of the story I am absolutely appalled by. I worked retail for a few years and I can tell you that I have NEVER seen someone treat another person this way, let alone a store worked treat a customer. While my mom was attempting to return the jacket, the sales associate essentially tried to tell my mom that she couldn't return worn merchandise. My mom is an absolutely gorgeous and classy woman - (Not that this matters, but she is always dressed to the nines in beautiful clothing, and basically never returns clothing anyways!) and she told her that she didn't wear the clothing. The sales associate again kept saying "You went to that conference and were going to wear the coat.. hmm..." basically insinuating that my sweet mom was trying to wear it and return it!! Absolutely ridiculous. I was seated in a different area of the store, and it got to the point where I could hear my mom trying to defend herself to this sales associate.. and I had to go over and defend my mother and tell this woman to please leave her alone, and get her manager. It was completely uncomfortable and SO RUDE! Even if you think this way, never act like this to a customer. Refer to a manager who can handle the situation better. We even offered to get store credit just so we could leave the altercation and she still was trying to engage with us. This sales associate outwardly argued with us continuously (and we hate confrontation.. it was so awkward) and turned us off from ever returning to or shopping at Aritzia. Thankfully the manager apologized and helped us out quickly so we could run out of the store. You have been warned. I came in on a weekday in search of an outfit to wear to Nobu on Mother's day. My hubby & son somehow got reservations to this amazing restaurant in LA and I had nothing worthy in my closet... I knew Aritzia has gorgeous, high quality clothes so I decided to check it out for the first time. There were so many options and I am not good when it comes to putting outfits together! But Liliana was sooo sweet and helpful! She put together so many options for me to try on and I was probably in the dressing room for an hour. She was patient and accommodating any time I needed a different size, color, or style ... She had a solution for everything. I had my son with me and normally that's super stressful but she made it so easy for me! I got an outfit that I prob would have never even tried on bc it looks intimidating on the hanger but she chose it for me and I actually LOVED it. I don't normally indulge in clothes at this price point so this was definitely a special treat and now I want to come here for every occasion just so Liliana can work her magic and style me. Customer service here is horrible, hence the other reviews and the manager to begin with is plain out rude- it starts from the top and the rest trickles down. I'm truly curious on why management hasn't done anything yet. I've dealt with the manger a few times and to do any type of return, exchange or anything, she's been rude and unprofessional. People don't want to be spending their money with people who are rude and unprofessional, just an FYI. To management- review your customer service outline with your employees. I came in just for jeans and a TNA zip up. I usually order online but I wanted to try things on before spending $200+ on jeans. I came in on a slow Thursday about 3 hours before closing. Store wasn't busy but there were a few other shoppers. I admit I'm not a 00, I am a size 12 just trying to find some clothes for myself. No one greeted me at all through the entire store. I was holding two pairs of jeans by the fitting rooms for a solid 10 minutes before anyone noticed me. They took my clothes, gave me a look, and walked me to literally the farthest fitting room in the back corner. No one checked on my if I needed a size. I found a shirt I liked but there was only one left and it had make up stains all over it, I asked if there was another and they just rolled their eyes and hung it back on the rack???? I couldn't wait to leave. I ended up getting what I came in for but now I'm not even sure if I want to support Aritzia anymore. Employees and the brand are not size inclusive (coming from a size 12!!!!!!) and they are just so rude to you unless you're lucky and they pretend you're invisible. FYI, I've been a loyal Aritzia shopper but mainly in SF and online. The staff at this location is the worst. Steer clear if you can. read more

Worst shopping experience ever here , worst customer service . They mistagged some pants , half of them are wrong priced (lower) . I realized that and asked the sales , if she would honor the lower price, if not I would not bothered to try it on , the sales originally said yes , so I went to the fitting room . After I came back and checked it out , the sales asked another sales to help, and the other sales said they only can honor the price that the tag marked . Half of the tags are correct and half of them are wrong , which means you have to take the one marked wrong but it might not be your size ! That doesn't make sense right ?! If the tag is the price supposed to be , what do you mean "honor " the price tag ?! Just like an item in system is "75" , and the tag is "75" , so the sales "honor you 75 " ???!!!! That's ridiculous ! A retail should never work like that . Or you can just say no at the beginning , should not change your words after people consume the time here and decide to buy it . The gals are pretty friendly and the selection is fantastic. Let me start off by saying how wonderful the staff at this store is!! Today I went to Walnut Creek and I love the clothes they have so I decided to check it out, the minute you walk in literally 2-3 people greet you, then when your looking around someone comes and asks you if you have any questions. I have to say I was impressed because they weren't being annoying like other sales people that are on commission. I am not sure of they are on commission or not but it really doesn't matter because they were all working as a team and they all made sure I was happy and completely satisfied. The clothes are a bit pricey but it's amazing quality and they have a great selection. Before I visited this store I had walked into Zara and I love shopping at Zara however the staff there are the rudest people I've ever seen, it's been that way for years. I honestly hate going there specifically because of the staff and the horrible customer service. Comparing the 2 stores price and quality about the same but the service night and day difference. Anyways, after I was done purchasing my items I went home the girls were so kind that I was thinking about it at home when I was putting my purchase away in my closet (so excited to wear them) I called the store to order another color so Chelsea answered the phone and omg super helpful, sweet, kind and friendly even on the phone. The security guard at this location told me to walk out then back into the store because he heard a sensor go off for someone else. Why did I have to get sent out? I heard a sensor but I walked in way afterwards when he decided to send a group of girls in then out of the store to figure out who was setting off a sensor. Okay so. The thing is I hella needed more work clothes and I had been prowling the website planning shirts and pants to try on and get maybe one or two things. Im not from WC and I felt tense going into the store. I was looking around and Nia came up to me. And she listened, bounced ideas with me, knew exactly what I wanted, got all my stuff lined up and found a bunch of things suitable for my style and the vibe of what I was going for. Nia was precise with achieving the vibes and finding perfect fits and has a seriously sharp sense of fashion. And she was just really helpful and super easy to talk to, and she was working super hard running back and forth, not only that but she was helping several others too without missing a BEAT, not a modicum of customer service was sacrificed even though she was styling many others too. Nia was super helpful, open, and PROFESSIONAL. This girl is a straight up expert and GETS IT. I came in for like one shirt and one pant and left with like seven or eight pieces and an online order for sizes they didn't have. Anyway, 10/10 thanks to Nia. FOR REAL read more

They pressure you into buying overpriced clothes and purposely neglect to tell you that you only have 14 days for a refund. After 21 days, you can only SAME DAY EXCHANGE FOR FINAL SALE and after 30 days you CANNOT RETURN CLOTHES FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. Literally the worst store, I'll never come back. Additionally, the pushy woman who told me to buy this $250 jacket while failing to tell me about the 14 day return policy (incredibly nonstandard- even forever 21 tells you you have 21 days to exchange at the register) after I told her I'd keep it for 2 weeks to decide can really go rot. She told me "you can always return it!" And of course by "always" she meant WITHIN LITERALLY ONLY 14 DAYS. Congratulations on having an even worse policy than Forever 21, the scourge of the shopping world, and failing to even communicate that shitty policy to your customers. As a note I've bought hats and bits and bobs that I've loved from this store and they've never communicated this policy to me- thankfully I've never had to return anything else- but I'm not coming back. read more

Went to this store Saturday night with my cousin. Walked in and a sales associate immediately helped us. My cousin wanted to get pants for work and had 6 items to try on. As she was about to walk into the dressing room another sales associate (I'm assuming the manager) comes up and tells us that their store is actually closed and that the door should have been locked. Then she proceeds to take the 6 items out of my cousin's hands. After a few very awkward laughs, the manager escorts us out of the store. The entire event was so awkward! We will never return to this store. That night my cousin went home and bought the 6 items she was going to try on online to avoid going to their store the next day. read more

It's been a long time since I spent more than an hour in a store shopping, I usually just want to get in and get out and get overwhelmed by looking at everything. But that was not the case at Aritzia. There was a great selection of clothes, trendy to classic to casual to work out, in good quality and oftentimes sustainable fabrics. Even though there was a lot of merchandise it did not feel too cluttered, it was easy and enjoyable going through the clothes on the racks. As soon as I started pulling clothes I was offered a room to start, and every time I had more than three or four items in my hands someone offered to add them to my room. They gave me the largest fitting room since I did have a lot of merchandise, and Maddie checked in on me frequently and got me some different sizes. Maddie helped me find and purchase some different colors and sizes for particular items online. It was a very enjoyable experience and I left with some great clothes and will be getting even more in the mail soon. Highly recommended, I did go on a weekday so it wasn't very crowded. read more

I didn't expect much from this store as outfits on their website do not lure you. But when the store opened in WC, it became a whole experience to go there for shopping. Beautiful interior design fits the style of their clothes: effortless, stylish, classic, and non-trendy. The customer service is great as people who work there are very attentive and are willing to help and to advise but not in a clingy manner. Aritzia clothes are expensive, unfortunately. But if you wait for sales, you'd be able to find clothes with 50% off which is a steal taking in account the superb quality of the clothes. Overall, it pleasantly stands out among quick fashion stores so higher price is acceptable. For those who complain about refund policy's time, many boutiques that are not mainstream basic stores have even stricter rules. So, deal with it. At least they allow refunds and returns. read more
