These doctors are AMAZING…read more Not every experience I have had here has been stellar, but every time I've had an issue, it was addressed immediately and it has never been held against me or used as a basis for retaliation. I am really picky about my health... I'll only see female doctors, I'll only see somebody who is experienced and certified/licensed in the specialty... I'll usually only see somebody who is around my age and who has a stellar academic record. I'm pretty demanding. I found this place when I first moved to AZ in 2012, and made it my medical home. My regular PCP is here (Norgaard) but from time to time she's unavailable and I'll see another doctor (usually Gwisdala or O'Malley). If I call and need to be seen the same or next day, they're usually able to get me in with a resident who is supervised by one of the attending physicians I am usually seen by, anyway. Bobby (another reviewer) points out that they do a lot of referrals. That's definitely true... but here's the thing. My PCP is an internist - she specializes in overall wellness... she isn't an expert on every aspect of every organ system and disease. I'd much more prefer she tell me she is unsure but that she knows where to get the answer than I would she render inadequate or inappropriate treatment. These people are so remarkably compassionate, understanding, patient. I have some pretty serious health issues and some that I blow way out of proportion, but they listen all the same. Not only that, they take me seriously and they really care. That's the part that blows my mind... it's not just about the payor source - it's about the person. I have had private insurance, AHCCCS, and no insurance and been seen at this office and treated with respect, dignity, and compassion every single time - without fail. THIS is what healthcare is supposed to be like. My physician and I are a team, and I seriously couldn't ask for a better teammate. If you want to go to the doctor, have everything fixed, and get mediocre-at-best care, go to a family doctor... they're first-level providers. They're not bad, by any means, but they're they're to keep you well and make sure you don't die before you have to. If you have a potentially complex medical history, you're going to need something more... this place provides that, and they do a damned good job.

Delays like this can have serious consequences for patients with chronic conditions. After years of being a loyal patient, I've decided to find a new provider. Because I no longer have accchs. They are able to bill accchs $677 for every visit, but now that I pay cash they only make $179 per visit. They forgot to send in my drug tests multiple times! I knew I'd report them to the state board and accchs months ago. I've been talking about all the sketchy shit to my mom and disabled friend for months. So I knew I was going to report them from the start. I am apart of the reason the fbi shut down a ton of sober living homes for human trafficking and double billing. I hate when people break the law and don't follow rules! I'm autistic it's hard to ignore. It's very easy to see when an accchs scam is happening and I felt it happening the second he gave me 10mg oxycodone without starting me on 5mg first. And then he kept letting my pee tests expire and not send to lab. Today the doctor says he is cutting me off pain meds because they don't feel comfortable prescribing them long term. I asked them if I broke the pain contract, they said no. I later get an email saying I'm permanently discharged because I broke The pain contract. They kicked me out of their practice because I am self pay. Discrimination. They're also not billing using correct address' and he's practicing in multiple states with multiple address. I talked to my pharmacist right away and told them everything I experienced and they told me YES this doctor is doing illegal shit. 1/26/26 they said I no longer need to do drug tests to receive my meds, that's illegal. My pharmacist is helping me with filing the report to accchs and the state board. Oh yeah he also gave me a 14 day supply of meds but wrote on the bottle it was a 7 day supply of meds. So I felt like he was trying to trick me or something. I'm not a drug addict so I use my meds properly and this little weird shit he did, did not affect me, I never took more than I was supposed to. But prescribing meds wrong on purpose is illegal as well, malpractice. I've been on prescribed controlled substances since I was 8 years old, I am well aware of how it all works. I've been permanently disabled for 12 years also. And then he tried to get me to do as many x rays as possible before my insurance cut off. He found scoliosis and then cancelled me as a patient immediately. Why would someone do that? He wouldn't even discuss my imagining he ordered. He made me pay $179 to get discharged today. So yeah I knew immediately the second he prescribed meds wrong and gave me 10mg oxycodone right away that he was crooked and I WAS FUCKING RIGHT!!!! If you ever feel weird at pain mgmt ask the pharmacist about it. They can definitely reassure you if you experienced something illegal. Other than that, while I was being prescribed oxycodone for a few months, the appointments were fast and scheduled normally. Just nothing the doctor ever did was normal. Letting my pee tests expire multiple times, writing wrong medication information. Accchs would only allow a 7 day RX and he gave me 14 days and put 7 days on the bottle, so that's called LYING. Lying about how much you're prescribing. All I see is red flags at this place.

They called me to the desk and told me they couldn't see me because I had a fever and they "were not equipped to test for Covid or flu or anything like that" (which I've already tested for and do not have). I told them this and they told me I would have to go to urgent care. I mentioned that had anyone asked me the reason for scheduling my visit on the phone, I would have told them my symptoms and I could have dealt with this yesterday but they pretty much just shrugged and turned me away. For a doctor's office with a lab on-site, it seems ridiculous they don't have the equipment to test for Covid or flu (which I don't have anyways). Our family member, several weeks ago, felt the imaging staff had no respect for her fragile body and curved spine. They knew what they needed to do, they had a long, busy, full night. The patient was a technical task needing solving. Some years ago, a doctor gave me his opinion from, as he said, "The view from 30,000 feet. " The view here from 30,000 feet is "Medical City". I do not know how many thousands of people "live" in this city from Janitors to food prep, nursing, brain surgeons and administrators. It is a complex place dealing with every aspect of human bodies, birth to preservation, and who is going to pay for these services and how. January, 2026 we learned, at a physical therapy center, the insurer of our family member withdrew Medicare Advantage coverage from them December 31, 2025. We scrambled. Elderly, on Medicare, we fell back on standard Medicare, but paid out of pocket for awhile. My heart goes out to people crushed between low pay and less than stellar medical insurance, and the medical institutions treating them, no matter the circumstances. We do not know what this hospitalization will ultimately cost our family. Care of our family member has been deep and wide. I think of thecduffering of my ancestors from falls, infections and the many diseases I get vaxed for. It is miraculous age. I see medications delivered at millionths of grams keeping a body functioning and relatively oit of pain. I am amazed. I see the teams assembled to work these medical miracles and I am amazed.

The next day a dude runs me down like he's a free safety to tell me he has to check me in and give me a designer paper bracelet to wear. If the free safety is correct, the day 1 staff should be fired for dereliction of duty. Why is it not possible to assume that anybody not in a hospital gown is a visitor? Why is the bracelet necessary? Somebody got paid to come up with this idea.

He went in hoping for a productive discussion and possible next steps for evaluation. Instead, the visit was frustrating and uncomfortable. From the start, her bedside manner was terrible. She was condescending, argumentative, and dismissive, repeatedly pressing him on every small detail as if she was trying to catch him in a contradiction rather than understand his symptoms. My husband is a Physician Assistant, so he's very capable of explaining a clear, concise medical history yet she made him feel like he didn't know what he was talking about. She questioned why he wasn't taking a daily PPI or famotidine, asking multiple times: "How many times have you taken a PPI? Why aren't you taking one daily? Why not take famotidine or something else?" He explained that he had only done short 14-day courses since he doesn't technically have a confirmed GERD diagnosis yet but the way she kept asking felt less like curiosity and more like she was trying to "catch" him or discredit his reasoning. The whole tone came off as interrogative and unnecessary. At one point, she said: "You say you have GERD, but how long have you had it? What are your symptoms?" "Well, you might actually have something called Eosinophilic Esophagitis, or EOE. Have you heard of this EOE?" He replied, "I'm familiar with it." She immediately shot back, "From where? Did you look it up on Google or something?" That's when he realized she was labeling him as a "Dr. Google" patient. He calmly replied, "I learned about it in school." Her tone got even sharper, and she asked, "What do you do?" As the appointment ended, he politely said, "Have a nice day!" She gave him a blank look and said, "What was that?" He repeated, "Have a nice day." And she responded with a cold, "You too." Overall, the encounter was awkward, unprofessional, and needlessly hostile. Instead of partnering with a patient who came prepared and informed, she chose to lecture and belittle him. Healthcare should be rooted in respect, empathy, and collaboration none of which were present here.
