I want to recognize someone that was extraordinary and went out of his way to help me. I will NEVER forget Mike Kenney-in security! I had just found out my father was having emergency surgery. I raced to the hospital. My dad was waiting in a room at the er. He was going to Pre Op. Mr. Kenney hustled me back to the room-and I was sad to see the bed was gone. He had been taken to pre op. Mr. Kenney could tell I was upset bc I didn't get to see my elderly dad before he went to emergency surgery. He quickly advised me the fastest way to see him. I know this doesn't seem like a lot-but I am forever grateful bc I got to spend time with him right before surgery. I was also there to support my mom who was very worried. If it weren't for Mike-I wouldn't have been there for my mom or got to hug my dad. I am forever grateful. He didn't have to go out of his way to help me. I saw the amazing Mike several days to follow. He is excellent at his job and truly cares about patients and their family! MIKE KENNEY-you deserve a million stars! I am forever grateful! Thank you for going above and beyond! Thank you for caring!

I will say not all staff will fall in this category but unfortunately the one nurse on the 4th floor, Pavilion 2 orthopedic unit RUDE!!! There's no reason to come into work with an attitude when your patients and their family members are helping with their recovery. Thank goodness she wasn't his nurse just a rude one at the nurses station. They always say family is a part of a patients care and the only thing I inquired about was someone to come and clean a restroom because housekeeping wasn't there yesterday and he didn't want to sit on it. If you know you know how some meds will do you. But that nurse stood out the most for her rudeness. I get it, we're all stressed but don't be rude for an already stressful situation. But the other staff I found to be nice and accommodating and made sure I was comfortable knowing I was staying with my family member. Thank you to the staff that showed up to their jobs as professionals. What I've learned, you can't be a voice for the patient and leave the morning crew alone. Terrible!!! UPDATE: My family member wanted me to make sure to give a special thank you to Ms. Teresa in housekeeping, even she stated if the bathroom ever looks like that again to call her. She gave us her card with the number. Also there were a couple of male nurses John and I forget the really tall male nurse that helped him out of bed and the other male nurse that got me a warm blanket and checked vitals. This is the type of professionalism that we look for in nursing. So the nurses that took care of my family member on July 18th! Thank you. July 19th is when he started complaining about his care.

I came in for low T and my doctor wasn't wanting to just give me supplements and push me out the door. Wait times at this office are extremely long -- during my first visit, I waited over an hour. When I asked the front desk about it and mentioned my doctor, Dr. Nagpal, I was told this was "pretty normal." One staff member even shared that they had seen over 200 patients in one day, which made me feel more like a number than a patient. On another visit, I witnessed a patient repeatedly asking when they would be seen because their appointment was taking so long. Eventually, they canceled their appointment altogether and said they would not be returning. After my procedure, Dr. Nagpal seemed very rushed when answering my questions and even looked at his watch while we were talking, which made me feel that my concerns were not a priority. My biggest concern, however, is that the office lost my medical records. I initially faxed them, but they said they never received them, so we brought physical copies instead. The office later called to confirm they had the records, yet after my most recent procedure, the doctor stated he had not received them. When I asked for the records back, I was told they could not locate them -- and they still have not been able to find them. Between the long waits, feeling rushed, and the mishandling of important medical records, my experience was very disappointing. I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before coming here.

I did some research and found that this type of therapy has benefits to some but is not covered by insurance. Because of the positive information I researched I was willing to explore more to see if it would be a good fit for me. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes before my appointment time. Was handed some forms about my medical history and why I was there. I filled them out however after reading the Hipaa form I refused to sign it as it would allow them to disclose my information and I was unwilling to allow that until I became a patient. The person at the front desk said I completely understand and asked me to take a seat and I would be called in. I was escorted to a waiting room and told they were going to take my vitals for the exam. I refused as I said I was there for a consultation and not an exam. I was told the doctors assistant would be right in. When the assistant came in she said I forgot to sign the Hipaa form. I said I was unwilling to sign it as I was not agreeable to having my information disclosed to third parities until I decided to become a patient. She said the doctor will not see you unless you are a patient, so I said ok and stood up to leave. I was escorted to the door.
