They have installed 5 top end gas fire sets for us, 3 in the last house 2 in this one in 2022. That was may, in th fall when the large one wouldn't work they came out to fix and nicked the gas line. The came out and fixed that. Once again it wouldn't work and said the lines pit and gas lines were off and they fixed it. This year when it wouldn't work their service call charge was $245. and it over 2 weeks to get someone out. He was here 2 minutes and said it needed a new comouter, he had one it was another $90. It took maybe 10 minutes to fix. The tech said the new ones weren't as reliable as the old ones.......one kidding. BUT $245 for a service call??????????? Best fireplace service company in Phoenix. I had Arizona fireplaces come out to take care of an issue with our fireplace. Needed to have pilot light and safety, thermal pile replace and gas lines cleaned out and all the logs cleaned and placed again for best and proper use of the fireplace. not only were they for their but they were extremely considerate and had a huge blanket over my hearth and our family room flooring. They took great care and making sure the fireplace was running 100% safely and it looks absolutely beautiful. cleaned all of my fire logs and made them look almost brand new. They did this install 25 years ago and it looks as good and operates as good as when they did the first install. My tech was very conscientious and did a great job checking it out. Then they went out and checked and inspected our fire pots around the pool and our big fire pit for the backyard patio. Fire safety is so extremely important and having a great company like this take care of my equipment ( that we will get many many years of enjoyment,) warms our HEARTH!!! read more

They sent us to the manufacture which we were on hold for 45 minutes and had to leave a message. Now it's Tuesday. I had to go back on do the same thing because they do not respond to you. This company does not do anything but sell you some thing over the counter. We were told about they will take care of us from the sales person. Wow that lie stopped at the counter. Let you know daily if it ever gets fixed. You cannot take it back when the product leaves the store. Amazon is so much cheaper you could buy five and just keep trading them out if you had a problem with Amazon you can send it back unlike this company. read more

I purchased my second gas fireplace from Az Fireplaces and I specifically want to let you know that my technician, Mike, was fantastic. He had a new hire with him that he was training who was also great. I did not like the log set "look" and Mike immediately said, " well, let's get you what you wanted". He had to take out the log set, unhook the gas line, etc. and he did so without any complaint. He attitude actually helped me to be stronger and request another set. I immediately went to the Az Fireplace and they worked to get me the set AND more importantly, the look I was looking for! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough! Purchased a gas log set from AZ Fireplaces. During our visit to their north store, I had a conversation with the salesperson about the fireplace box being discolored, and he told me the box could be painted, no problem. No mention of an extra fee. When I called to get details about the installation, I reminded them again about painting the firebox. Again, no mention of a service fee. When the technician calls to say he's on the way to do the installation, I remind him about painting the fireplace and he tells me there's going to be a service fee. I called the store, I called the salesperson, and no one was willing to take responsibility for their error. We cancelled our purchase and got our money back. Update: To this company's credit, both a supervisor and the owner called later in the day to apologize and said they would paint the firebox without the service fee. Do not ever use this company!! We had two fireplaces installed in 2016 and had nothing but trouble. On one fireplace we have now gone 2 winters without being able to use it. 2 times workers came out to replace parts that took over 5 hours each time only to be followed by another visit where they didn't have the right part. We were told in Nov 2021 that they had it figured out and were ordering the right part and today we received a call that once again they didn't get it right and are pushing us out on repair again. In the house 4 years and we haven't had a working fireplace for 2 of those years. Horrible service. They have been terrible on phone communications and letting us know when we will get service. This has been a terrible experience. I purchased and 13,000 dollar fireplace and they gave me a time frame on when they would install it and have the project complete. I told them how important it was that it was completed by this time because I can't complete my wall until the fireplace is complete they ensured me it would be when I paid in full at the meeting. They scheduled me 2 weeks out and then showed up and said they didn't have the equipment to complete the job and said the office would let me know when they could come back. I called them everyday for a week with no return phone call till I finally got a response and they said it would be another two weeks till they could complete the install. The installer came out and still the job instal complete he did some additional work but I'm still without a functioning fireplace. They called me again to tell me it would be an additional two weeks till they could send someone out. Meanwhile my entire project is being delayed. I've called and complained and they told me tough s**t. The customer service has been terrible communication has been terrible and the install has been terrible I have doubts it will ever get done and when I call and complain I still get nothing done or even an apology. They held up our project 3 different times because their installers did not know what they were doing ! I had to call the adobe light manufacture on site after there third attempt to install ... the technicians did not know what they were doing and the manufacture had to get involved to get it straightened out ! This was after their third attempt ! Also no communication regarding billing they debited our bank account 4 different times without notifying us ! No communication at all !! I repeat, "Run, do not walk away from this company!!!!" I first reviewed this company on Jan 23, 2017 (See below). Now in June they finally "finished" the install. The install was horrible cracked and dented drywall, exposed white paint underneath trim and incredibly horrible installation of remote panel. Please see photos that I've posted to Yelp. You will not believe how bad it is.... I don't understand how this company is in business..... Again, run, do not walk away from this company! Review posted 1/23/2017: Run, do not walk away from this company!!!! We are building a custom home and ordered one of their high-end linear fireplaces. The first installer brought the fireplace out to the site and installed the base unit. When he installed the unit, he cracked the fireproof drywall that he installed above the unit. This installer told us he would be out to replace the drywall. (Never heard from him). A second installer came out and attempted to install the remote switch. This installer didn't have the correct tools and basically butchered our 2x6 framing and attached the wiring so loosely that a slight breeze would blow the wire off the connection. The installer provided vague directions to where the electrician should wire the unit. When asked detail questions about the unit, the installer had no knowledge of the unit. Both my General Contractor and I have called Arizona Fireplaces and left messages both on voice mail and with the receptionist to have a responsible person call us. No one has ever called us back, it's been three months! This is by far the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with! Again, run do not walk away from this company!!!!!! read more

I bought a Revillusion electric fireplace back in November of 2021. I couldn't get it to work. After many phone calls it was replaced. The newer one makes a howling noise when it is running. I called the customer service number which is in Canada. They were going to send a new blower and have a tech replace it. I called again in April to find out when I would get the part. They said in 10 working days. Now it's May. They are saying the parts are out of stock and won't be in until the end of July in Canada and it might take a few more weeks to have it delivered to the USA. I hope this fireplace gets working before a full year passes. Please don't buy one. Get something good. read more

We Purchased the Highland Model #GSF-RFP back in December 2018. Loved the fire pit and was easy to put together. It seemed like one thing after another was happening with the guts of the fire pit, for example it smelled like gas, the thermo couple went out and then it just stopped working all together. Every time I called to get a remedy they were right on it and sent me a new gas line and regulator. Finally I called and spoke with a gentleman in the warehouse and said "look, sometimes you just get a MONDAY fire pit and I think I got one". Then I asked him if he would just send me the entire new fire-pit guts. He looked up my history saw my correspondence with AZ and asked, will you work with me and pay the shipping, $30.00? I was thrilled to say yes! He took my CC info over the phone and had it shipped out that day. I installed the new guts and it fired right up. I purposely waited over 30 days to write this review to insure the problem was solved. It's been installed for over a month and is working like a champ! I was blown away by the over and above customer service I received! I had some friends over and I told them the story. They are going to buy their next Patio heater directly from AZ. I highly recommend AZ. I also noted some negative feed backs on this page; sometimes how you treat the person on the other end of the phone can have a direct impact on the level of customer service one receives. read more
