This place has one of the worst vibes I've experienced going out. The energy is completely off, the staff is dismissive, and it feels like they don't want anyone there unless you're somehow benefiting them. They clearly try to come across as upscale, but it's all very forced a wannabe high-end atmosphere that falls flat. The music was mid at best, the crowd felt awkward and unwelcoming, and the whole atmosphere was chaotic in a bad way. On top of that, the place is fucking dirty, which just adds to the overall uncomfortable vibe. Nothing about this place makes you want to stay, it's uncomfortable, overpriced for what it is, and honestly just not fun. The pretentious vibe and lack of real hospitality make it clear they're more concerned with image than actually providing a good experience. There are way better options nearby. Would not come back and wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a good night out. read more

Pros: Good space in the main room, and sound is solid. Neither Pro/Con: the bar is okay. Cons: security will assault and/or threaten you, break your phone when you film them doing something illegal, and the venue manager will deny it all claiming that the cameras do not work. Security guards will target women, and damage your property. It's a bummer so here are some tips if you want to visit this venue: bring friends (at least one male over 6'1"), make sure all phones in your group are charged, don't hesitate to take pictures or film security guards mishandling patrons (since it's perfectly legal to do so), and if security hurts you and threatens you with police action, you can go to your car and call to file a police report against the guard. We saw a concert there and our experience prior to the event was incredibly frustrating. The band we wanted to see wasn't listed with the other bands on their site, so we tried contacting them to confirm that band would be there. They never answered the phone (even on Friday nights when they are open), replied to texts (which we were instructed to send), emails, Facebook comments, or Facebook messages. (Fortunately, the band responded to the first message sent to them within an hour.) The day of the concert, the lack of communication continued with a delay of one meet & greet, one band substitution, and the early start of the concert. Inside the venue, beers are very limited, paper towels were out, half the toilet paper was out, and some areas were in desperate need of repair. And no one was checking bags for weapons or drugs. So, if you need to contact this business, good luck! Go only if it's a band you really, really want to see. read more

I went last night for an after party concert and somehow payed $40 for two Tanqueray doubles with tonic and two water bottles. They said a single of Tanq was only $7 and somehow the doubles were $16 !?!? That makes no sense. I still tipped them 20% but was pissed that I payed that much for two fucking drinks when I could have just gotten like 6 singles instead. Doesn't make sense at all. I go here for one reason only: country line dancing! If you are looking for a place to practice your country line dancing, every Friday night around 9:30, the DJ will start to play country music for line dancing. *There are no lessons, but I believe there used to be lessons on a certain night. There is a core group of dancers who come every Friday, and it is really fun to dance with them each week. Around 10:15-10:30, the college-aged people start coming in full force and when they takeover the dance floor, it is the worst. However, we can generally country line dance until about 11-11:30. The DJ likes to line dance, too, and for some songs, he will come onto the dance floor for a few dances. There is a mechanical bull you can pay to ride and there is a full bar, but they ask that you pay in cash unless your tab will be $20 minimum - in that case, you can use a card. Admission on Friday is $8 and I've learned if you see the comedy show next door at the Comedy Zone first ($10), you get a free ticket for Arizona Pete's. read more

But then when i asked for my id card and credit card which was at the bar. They started making fun of my name, compared me to a character in Simpsons and everyone (5 people, bouncers and manager lady), just started being racist. And the bartender overcharged me (4 times more) for all the drinks past 1:00 pm. DO NOT go to this venue if you value your personal safety. The security will assault you if you do so much as walk in their way when they are moving through the venue. They will listen to and whatever "people in the bands" say and have no regard for their actual patrons. Was forcibly removed because someone "with a band" claimed I was in an altercation, and while I was being assaulted by that same person, security forcibly dragged me out by the throat. I had over 10 people who were witnesses and said I did nothing wrong, including a bouncers girlfriend. I still was removed and not allowed re-entry. read more

I have been here only a couple of times and that was simply because I (we) received a Free Pass from the Comedy Zone, next door to it. The few times I have been there, I would have to say this is a pretty average country club.......Very crowded each time I have been........They do have the electronic bull.....(Which alot of us may "experience" and give a try, if too much drink has been consumed..... :) Definately try the Comedy Zone out next door and then get your free ticket in....It is worth a try...... read more

- I been to raves here and Thursday nights. Every time I come line moves at some type of pace. The security usually fair and quick. The bar is always busy. The section for smoking is nice just because it's outside. The dance floor is nice size. The rave events are packed. The bathroom is good for busy club. Went here for my 21st. They had a live band playing country music. They were alright. It was better once the band stopped and regular music was playing. Their Blue Hawaiian is phenomenal! You do pay to get in and it is 18+. Overall it was a good time. read more

RACIST!!!! After standing in line for several minutes outside, some friends and I were finally admitted into the building and paid our admission just like everyone else. Several employees including the bouncers and bartenders checked our bags and served us drinks and permitted us to enter the club. After being served drinks we were approached by an employee asking us to leave because they were hosting a "private" event. After looking around the room and realizing we were the only non-Hispanic people there we came to the conclusion that we were being asked to leave because we were White. That was certainly a first for me....never have I felt so offended and oppressed. There was no signage or any indication that this was a private event for Latino folks only. Nice sized dance floor, friendly bartenders, and a young, fun line dance community. I used to drive from Durham to hang out with them on weekends on a regular basis and always enjoyed myself. They attract some good music acts on a fairly regular basis and don't charge an arm and a leg for tickets. read more

First time there overall not a bad experience. I will say the crowd was a little weak for a Saturday night. My one major complaint was the lack of ac. Being summer in the south I would have hoped for a little ac in the vents. The DJ was ok he could have played a little more country but it's a club so it's understandable. disclaimer: i've only been here once and it was on a Wednesday night when the bar is only open until 10pm. i'm not a local, but was invited by an employee of the bar to check it out. we were treated well despite feeling a little out of place (myself from SF, one friend from LA and another from Minnesota). the bartender was cute and super friendly. despite being near closing time, she served us repeatedly and was again, sweet as the sweet tea. i can't speak for Arizona Pete's on a busy night but I get the impression that it would be a fun place if a country bar, with mechanical bull and dance floor is your style. read more

Where to start? Country sort of, as a couple that likes to go out more then most, this place was not one we would likely return to anytime soon. For a $8 per person cover charge gets you in the door, greeted with a bartender who apparently was not in the best of moods, a patron and pineapple is easily made she still seamed to mess it up, served in a cup little bigger then a shot glass @ 4 oz and paid $8.50, not impressed. She then made a bad sex on the beach for my wife, and was $8.50 as well. So been in the club 5 mins and already spent $40 and not happy, bartender, just a note: get a book called " the bartenders bible" Now on to the music, DJ, the music sets the mood and is the heartbeat of the club. People are on the dance floor doing line dances and checking Facebook at the same time, Yes it was that boring! Then you have people on dance floor with booze, signs all over "club rules: no drinks on floor" security doesn't enforce this at all. Midway through night floor is soaked and sticky. And also to many people on dance floor not dancing, just hanging out, in way of people trying to dance. Yes, not the place we will be returning anytime soon. They have a great atmosphere and the dj is pretty entertaining, however the bouncers and bartenders aren't consistent. Sometimes they make me pay to get in and other times they don't. Recently I bought my friend who is 21 and had a wrist band on her first drink of the night. The bartender snatched the drink out of her hand, threw it away, and told me I wasn't allowed to buy any drinks for the rest of the night even though I had only bought one. If you're an inner city type of person I'd hesitate to spend your money at this place. When they say its a "country bar", they mean it. I was the only guy in there without cowboy boots on. Not saying that there isn't anything wrong with that, just saying that it wasn't my style and atmosphere. Other than what i mentioned, the music is very good and the dance floor is great. If you are a good party goer, this is the spot for you. Arizona Pete's is equipped with all your party needs. It is equipped for partying year around. In the winter there is a coat check when you first walk in.Which is great so you can stay warm while waiting outside in the line. Plus you have there is the luxury of checking your coat in so you want have to carry it around while you party. Of course there is a small fee for the coat check. Not expensive at all. . For security purposes they give you a ticket, when you go to retrieve your coat or jacket, you hand them your ticket and they retrieve which ever one you had. I can't speak for the men, the ladies restroom setup is nice. Has a couch and a coffee table in there, so if there is a long wait in the restroom you can have a seat. I don't know how other women feel but thats perfect. Especially if you have been dancing the night away in some heels. Standing in line for the restroom would kill someones feet in heels. This place caters to all races, and ages. Even though the crowd is younger majority of the time. Its not a fancy upscale place so all different styles are welcome. If your looking just to relax have a couple drinks and play some pool the pool tables and a smaller bar is set apart in a room away from the big crowd. The dance floor is on the lower level. Its spacious enough to fit a large amount of people. They also have a smoking section outside connected to the building for those who smoke. You don't have to physically leave the club to grab a smoke the smoking section is accessible for you to walk in and out of the party to without leaving out the club and going through security again. The bar is a nice size there is only maybe two bartenders there at a time but the wait time for a drink is never long. The drinks are never too pricey. Each time i have there it was always a board with great drink specials on it. If you want to go to a place that has every accommodation you need when you party, I believe this is the place for you. Welcomes people from all walks of life to come party under one roof, and have a good time. That's my opinion, but you won't know and until you go try it out for yourself. read more
