My first visit to Old Ellsworth Brewing Company definitely won't be my last! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was outstanding. The Burning Angus was absolutely incredible packed with flavor and something everyone should try. The Dipper and the BrewBen were just as impressive, making every bite better than the last. Pair it all with one of their excellent craft beers, and you have the perfect meal. It's not often a restaurant exceeds expectations on a first visit, but Old Ellsworth did exactly that. If you're in Queen Creek and looking for amazing food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back!

First time here, old west motif. standard bar food. Two friends had wings, I had the Bistro Burger with tater tots. First bite and half the burger ends up on my shirt! I hate when that happens! Service was good, music was excellent. Ok for some entertainment and a cold brew. Not a food destination for me

I can't say enough great things about this place! It's been our go-to place for years now, and they've only continued to get better as the years go on! We always ask for Justin, every single time he goes above and beyond to make sure we're taken care of, making excellent recommendations on their ever rotating menu! We always attend the events, most recently their 9 year anniversary and it's just a great time with great folks and amazing food and craft beer!

Had a group of 15 for lunch yesterday. All different orders and different checks. Our server handled it like a pro. Good job! The food has improved since my last visit. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. I had a Cobb salad and a Coke Zero. It was good and she kept my drink refilled.

    The green hatch egg rolls...yum!

We stopped here to have lunch because of the name (friend's father's name), the food was amazing, (they have a scratch kitchen), the cider (prickly pear) was awesome (pinkish purple in color!), and wow! The bread pudding dessert! Our waitress Niki was so friendly and helpful, can't say enough good things about this place, you gotta check it out! AND they have live music!!!

I don't get to Queen Creek often, but I have passed by this brewery many times when I am passing through the downtown area. I made a stop here with some friends after hanging out at Schnepf Farms. We just came here for drinks because it was late. Old Ellsworth Brewing Company is both a microbrewery and scratch kitchen. A couple of their signature beers include the Dead Porter Society Porter and an IPA called the Captain Cold One. I kept with the Fall theme and grabbed an Oktoberfest beer. Our bartender was pretty cool and kept us company until closing time. I will definitely come back again sometime for some grub.

Ask the Community - Old Ellsworth Brewing Company

Do they a lot of TVs to watch the Sundays games?

Yes they do! Especially at the bar! There are several screens by the dining tables also.

    Do they sell domestic beers?

To my knowledge, yes, they sell domestic beer at Old Ellsworth Brewing Company

With the post-Covid re-opening, does anyone know if they are following the social-distancing guidelines mandated by governor Ducey - limiting customers, distancing tables, etc?

Lol they are NOT following any social distancing nor are they requiring masks.... half the staff doesn't even wear a mask

How much are Flights of beer?

$8 for 4, 4oz beers that are brewed in house

Do they brew beer or just have nice equipment ? I called to see if they had any of their own brews on tap and the girl who answered the phone hung up on me .

They had an offical Grand Opening this past Saturday to introduce 4 of their own brews so far to go with the other local stuff they carry. And it was worth the wait!

Though, the wait was quite long but I tried to be understanding since not many locations are open on holidays. It's counter service so some delay was that the staff couldn't find us (example: croissant arrived after our meal and 10-15 minutes after the cappuccino ordered with it). The patio looks nice for cooler days, and we enjoyed sitting in the little nook that had paintings and small crafts for sale. Recently purchased by new owners from France, I knew I had to try as I love French cuisine. They have a French Specials Board and a Croissant Menu, which my boyfriend both ordered from. We both said we wished there were more French items to choose from. What We Ordered: ~ Coke: served as a can with a mason jar of ice. ~ Goat Cheese Croque Monsieur: My boyfriend loved it, but wished there was more béchamel sauce. The goat cheese compliments the ham really well, and he throughly enjoyed. ~ French Quiche (Chicken, bell pepper, cheddar): I really enjoyed this quiche as it's not something you can find done well in a lot of places. The combination of ingredients work well together. ~ Cappuccino: This was crafted well and I enjoyed the light dusting of topping (believe cinnamon sugar). The espresso paired nicely with the frothed milk and velvety foam. ~ Croissant & Butter: Sadly, this was like any croissant you can get. A skip for us next time, but probably great for a sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our meal though I'm not a fan of counter service. We'd return again, and pick a table more in the open so it's easily to deliver food to us.

One lady was at counter when my beeper went off. I came up & she was checking someone out, then gave another person their order before me. The woman who gave me my food talked up the jam but it was really tart & we didn't like it. In addition, I paid $6 for coffee. I went up for a refill & there was only decaf. The bartenders said they were brewing more but kinda blew me off. They were way more concerned with the alcohol buying/tipping customers. After 10+ mins I went back up to just wait. After all the bar customers left, a bartender finally acknowledged me & she took my cup & filled it up behind the bar. Supposedly, they'll have a dedicated coffee area ready at the end of August. But, at this point I feel that you shouldn't go to the Olive Mill for hot food, especially at breakfast. They're soo popular that they've stopped caring about flavor. Sad really. Olives & salads your best bet. Nice live music was outside but it was so hot our group decided to go inside.

Even several feet away, the smell of the burgers grilling is mouthwatering. This is not surprising once you learn that the owner of Yum Rockets is a Cordon Bleu graduate and has been a chef for 20 years. The concept is a modern take on Retro/Vintage Diners. Serving gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, and more. It's a family-run business which is another nice perk. Of the various burgers on offer, the California Gold sounded the most enticing. A craft blend patty served with signature sauce (similar to Thousand Island), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and bacon guacamole. Served on a brioche bun. Just one look and you know it will be delicious - and it was. Everything about it screamed fresh, high-quality ingredients, and expertly grilled. If they had a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, it would be your new destination for burgers (luckily, they offer catering, too!). We also ordered the Inferno Cluck which is their take on Nashville hot chicken, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, crunchy onions on a 10-inch hoagie. Honestly, unless you were just starving, this is big enough to split with someone. It's a huge sandwich, all the more so with the generous side order of fries. I love spicy so I asked them to add their Raising Pain sauce. It does kick things up a notch and since it is served on the side, you should get it too. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. I ended up abandoning the hoagie and just focusing on the generous portion of chicken. YUM! Several types of fries are on offer. The fries are SO crisp. These are exactly how you want fries to be served. I tried customizing mine to the ginger wasabi fries but they were sadly out. We ended up upgrading to the Yum Yum fries which are smothered with their house-made cheese sauce, chopped ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and gold sauce. Delicious but a meal unto itself. We also had the Arizona fries which are the spicy version with Chipotle aioli and jalapenos. Delicious but a meal alone. The website listed some yummy-sounding dessert options but they had been crossed off the sandwich board when we visited. Perhaps they only do dessert for catering events now. Although based in the San Tan Valley, Yum Rockets pops up around the Valley. You can find their upcoming schedule on their website. Truly one of the best out there!
