It's time for another disprover review! I strongly recommend this place. For context, I went on a Friday night, tried 3 beers and ate food while sitting at the bar. Service was outstanding. I was skeptical as it's a big bar and they only had one bartender, but my man was on his game. Even the walkups waiting for tables got served pretty quick! Beer choices were amazing. My friends ordered cocktails both on and off the menu and were very satisfied. I haven't had a good Poutine in a long time, since Chicago, and this one was close. I blame inflation but it was still above average. I didn't smell anything, no bleach or sewage, and felt super welcome by attendees also watching March Madness. And $6 a pint in this economy?!? My first visit to Old Ellsworth Brewing Company definitely won't be my last! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was outstanding. The Burning Angus was absolutely incredible packed with flavor and something everyone should try. The Dipper and the BrewBen were just as impressive, making every bite better than the last. Pair it all with one of their excellent craft beers, and you have the perfect meal. It's not often a restaurant exceeds expectations on a first visit, but Old Ellsworth did exactly that. I don't get to Queen Creek often, but I have passed by this brewery many times when I am passing through the downtown area. I made a stop here with some friends after hanging out at Schnepf Farms. We just came here for drinks because it was late. Old Ellsworth Brewing Company is both a microbrewery and scratch kitchen. A couple of their signature beers include the Dead Porter Society Porter and an IPA called the Captain Cold One. I kept with the Fall theme and grabbed an Oktoberfest beer. Our bartender was pretty cool and kept us company until closing time. I will definitely come back again sometime for some grub. read more

I just want to be clear that the sewage smell was on the pint glass, not the beer that was in it. Being in a sewage "hot zone" ,as it was put to me, is probably not the ideal place to try and sell food. The smell is definitely distracting. read more

Worst service ever. I come with a group saying we just wanted drinks, the host looks at me like I'm an alien from outer space, telling me there were no tables available. We saw a group of completely empty tables sitting not far away and we're like "well, how about that one there" so she rolls her eyes, sighs and lets us take it. My favorite is the build your own poutine. It's one of the rare places that offers poutine. You can custom make it with toppings, fries or tots, and so on. Had not been here in a year. Started with the mussels appetizer. Mussels are a favorite of mine, and I was not impressed by these. The broth was lacking in depth of flavor and had a sharpness that was not to our taste. I had the OG burger with tater tots, wife the Cuban with fries. Burger seemed half the size of our last visit, and was nothing special. They used to have huge, home made tots, hot and crunchy. They now seem to be premade frozen generic. Served lukewarm and tasteless. Wifes Cuban was okay, but halfway thru she pulled a chunk of fat out of the middle. Her fries were neither fresh tasting or hot. We were obviously disappointed. This place used to be special, now mediocre. That goes for the service as well. Won't be returning soon read more

We were greeted by the hostess and had originally said we would sit at the bar but when my hubby got a wiff of the smell and looked at me, we turned around and walked out. When our one pretzel finally made its way back to our very dark corner we decided to pay and leave ordering no other food or drink. Passed by this place for a long time and I have been looking to stop by. It's a western style atmosphere inside which was cool. They had games for kids to play. We sat right down with no wait.. our server was great. She was very helpful and knew the menu in detail. The food was excellent! And the portions were big and shareable. We were looking to have a burger after restocking at the QC Olive Mill and this fit the bill. My O.B. Burger with cheese was pretty standard issue but it was accompanied with a plate full of hot, crispy tater tots. You'll get lettuce, tomato and pickle on the side for your burger but you'll need to ask for any condiments. They're happy to include little cups of them. This place was very busy and after eating there, I understand why. The parking is very limited so be prepared to park across the street. We wanted to find a place to eat with our friends and the photos of the food looked yummy. We landed on the Cubano and the dipper. The cubano was good and very cheeses, yum. I would have preferred more seasoning within the sandwich though. The dipper was good as well with a good amount of quality meat and a very cheesy topping. The brown gravy was good although I would have preferred a beef stock Au Jus. Now the fries, yum. I'm a huge fan of fries and they seem fresh cut and cooked and seasoned well. A friend mentioned he didn't like the burgers but when I asked Janae she totally recommended the BURNING ANGUS burger. She explained that the meat is local. Omg one of the best burgers I've had. Top 5. We also got a prickly pear beer and I don't drink beer. My husband ordered it and it was so good. Then we got the nachos. Everyone suggest the nachos. Just know that it's HUGE.
