ARK management and its employees and managers have no regard for the concerns of the homeowners they are responsible to. After voicing some concerns and questions in a respectful email to Nicole, a community manager for the property, I got no response which is typical. After following up a few times, I finally got a response which simply deflected the questions rather than answering them. In the email chain Nicole responded to another employee with: "OH, BLAH BLAH BLAH" in regards to the concerns I brought up (see email image below). Nicole's response is deeply concerning. It shows a COMPLETE disregard to our concerns as homeowners. It is unprofessional at the very best and negligent at worst. I was hoping to resolve this with ARK Management but when I brought it up to the higher ups in the company nobody did anything about it. The owner simply responded "I am sorry that was communicated to you," rather than taking a single step to address the issue. I have been on an HOA Board at two complexes for a combined 15 years. Originally I was at a tiny complex and Nadya was our manager. She was my introduction to HOA's and I had nothing to compare to. I sold that and moved to a complex with three buildings and over 150 units. I have been the President for 10 years. We had a management company that informed us that our vendors refused maintenance contracts. Unbeknownst to me, they were telling our vendors that the HOA refused maintenance contracts. Neither was true. After 6 years of poor service, bad vendors and no help with replacing them, I sought out Nadya. We have now had ARK for over three years. Nadya helped us to clean up the mess left by poor service from our previous management company. We now have multiple maintenance contracts and significantly better vendors. That is the key to having a well maintained HOA. Our finances are in much better shape and we are now able to move from "deferred maintenance" to major projects that have been delayed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nadya and her assistant, Nicole, are the key to success.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] HOA Management companies are easy targets. Especially when you have some disruptive owners that have no understanding of how an HOA works. We have to follow the law and also the governing documents. It is extremely difficult to find quality vendors. Additionally, sometimes good vendors become less so due to circumstances. That is why a healthy relationship with management is crucial. It should be a partnership. That's what we have with Nadya and Nicole. Nadya has helped us navigate through the tumult of the COVID years. Her industry knowledge is invaluable. Oftentimes owners who have never been on a board assume that they are being targeted and that the rules are being selectively enforced. The truth is that it is illegal for board members and management to divulge the results of violation hearings due to privacy laws. This leads to the inaccurate perception that the HOA "doesn't care" and "selectively enforces rules." That's certainly not been my experience with Nadya and Nicole. If you've ever been on a board then you probably know how difficult it is to secure competent and responsive vendors. Owners who are not privy to everything it takes to make things work simply assume that you're not doing anyhting. Delays are a frequent occurence. The relationships bewteen Management, vendors and the board are crucial to success. When people who want to fight with management and other board members are successful in joining a board, the outcomes become compromised. Combative boards are less effective. One of the worst Management companies that I have seen. I've rented a condo under their management for a decent amount of years, and I honestly can say they are very unprofessional. One example I can clearly discuss is that the management did a condo balcony renovation (2015), and they renovated my balcony without the owner's knowledge. He explained to me that he had already completed the renovation prior to my moving into the condo. They built a completely new balcony, and they left a hefty amount of structural damage on my balcony and near my window (which lowers the market value of the condo). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I emailed the owner and Nadya about the work the contractors left and the damage. Nadya explained to the owner that it was wear and tear instead of structural damage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My final issue was in the year 2023, when my condo was located on the first floor of a 3-floor complex. The 3-story neighbor had a dog use a personal potty spot. I sent an email and pictures to Nayda and the owner of the condo about the smell and damage to my property.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead of explaining to the dog owner that it is against policy, she emailed my condo's owner and me that she sent a verbal warning to the dog's owner. She never visited the complex, and the issue continued for months. The second-floor owner moved, and a new person purchased their complex. I explained the issue to the new couple because the new owners had cleaned their urine-soaked balcony, and we agreed on the mismanagement and unprofessionalism of Ark Management. The issue was finally resolved when the second-floor owners sent a message to Nadya and Ark Management stating that they would not pay the HOA fee if the issue continued, and a week later, the dog was no longer at the complex. read more

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac changed their condo guidelines in 2024 making it a requirement to submit condo balcony inspections reports within 3 years. We can't buy or sell a condo with a mortgage lender without report. Owners should have a right to the report. I had to buy my studio in cash. Nadya Klima requested agenda items, allegedly, to ensure there was sufficient time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I informed Ms. Kalima that she would be excused for item number 1: this included understanding how communication flowed between ARK management and the board. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nadya, kicking and screeming replied that the board members insisted that she would be present during the executive session.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ms. Klima is NOT understanding that unless our CC'RS and BY'LAWS state that she has to be present for every meeting as a homeowner, I have the right to request to speak to the board without ARK management's presence. I also had to remind Nadya that the California Civil Code trumps the unanimous agreement by board members' wishes for Nadya's presence. Nadya stayed on the call via Zoom but turned off her camera. I reminded the board members that they were opening themselves to possible civil liability, as this action constituted the California civil codes. At the onset, Susan Marshall threw me out because she stated the board was not done preparing. I am disabled and was thrown outside the clubhouse to wait dark with nowhere to sit with my stalker having absconded yet one more time. Given 7 mins for 4 items:1) communication, 2)Late charges 2023 -(victim of stalking, robbery, identity theft, 2) Careless landscaping ( my therapy dog is blind in one eye), and Rat infestation. Fast forward, we are now in Feb2026, Ark has not sent anyone to survey my home, provide maintenance, or check the common area, such as the roof,chimmney or crawl space for rodents. The only pest control done to my unit has been paid for by me. My husband and I cleaned out the shrubs and dead leaves around my unit per the VECTOR inspector. We filled up 3- 32-gallon trash cans with leaves, debris, and I cut down the dangerous 16-inch stalk-like spears from the bushes. Selective enforcement and maintenance, I saw the board president, Susan Marshal, inspecting the unit across from mine for rats, followed by sending maintenance to address the rat damage done to the unit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since writing my 1st review, the board president, including Nadja Klima, started systemic retaliation by selective enforcement and sending violation letters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 1) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Susan Marshall board president, personally goes into unit .....06, which has a camera on the 2nd floor, specifically to monitor for violations- violations ensued right after her visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2) received a violation for scrubbing my patio furniture cover from rat feces and left it on the railing to dry 3)violation stated that the "never used " heater in the patio (since 2020) should be 4 feet away (I don't own a propane tank, the board took it also, more importantly I paid $6000 for the new trellis on top of the 4) violation stating that a) the sprayer behind the bushes is untidy (cannot be seen unless you go behind the bushes) and Susan Marshall accusing me verbally that I was observed spraying pesticide in the common area. Despite explaining the sprayer is just a water sprayer (not used in approx 2 years) and can be asserted right now by simply unscrewing and smelling the water.I am paying Brooks Pest Control for monthly maintenance of my unit. Why would I be doing any spraying in the common area, which is the HOA's responsibility? On January 2nd, Susan Marshal ordered the landscapers to remove and take away my personal property, the water sprayer, which is used to hose down dog urinein front of and around my unit. 5) [[HIGHLIGHT]]accusations that my dog is producing a vast amount of poop, not being picked up. My dog is blind in one eye, because his right eye was punctured by the stalks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He goes out 2 times per day, max 3 to 4 feet away from me, and is walked for an hour by a paid dogwalker. There are 4 dogs in our cul-de-sac, plus everyone else who brings their dogs in front of my house, including Susan's 2 dogs & VP's dog. 6) Leaving trash cans out too long in Alicante. a) Via Alicante is not enforceable by the HOA since it's owned by San Diego. b)I am disabled and forced to drag my trash 1 block to Via Alicante.The residents on private streets still enjoy garage pick up.I pay for trash collection in my dues, & pay an additional $40 monthly to have trash taken to the street. Bullying retaliation tactics increase. I received a letter to cease & dessist from harassing board members.I don't know any of the board members except the Pres.I only spoke to the Pr briefly twice prior to Oct 21st. Post Oct 21st spoke to the VP once & the old/tall man on Dec 24th, who gave me the finger.Nadya received one email. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would like to report possible misconduct and unprofessional conduct by a member of your staff. I would like for this to be well documented. I have been having on going issues with Deborah Kohler. She refuses to have phone contact about my issues[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I have been the victim of selective rule enforcement and her misinterpretation of rules under my HOA. Most recently there was a reoccurring leak on the piping and water connection outside of my unit. This leak was first reported years ago and was never properly addressed. Last week i used the water source on the outside of my unit and water began spraying from the piping on the outside of my unit. This caused flooding inside of my unit and a parking structure. A plumber was sent out to fix the outside pipe. Two days later i received a email stating that i would be held liable because the hose connection appeared to have tool markings from a pliers and and the piping had a bend. I was told i somehow used excessive force and tools or a pliers on the water source causing the damage. I informed Deborah this has been an on going leak and i have never used tools or excessive force while using the water. I went over the footage of the repairs because i have a ring type camera. I have footage of the plumber using a pliers and taking multiple attempts to free the piping from the wall. He is also seen pulling and pushing the pipe with excessive force. He is then seen after multiple attempts stopping in frustration and taking out his phone to document the condition of the piping. This seems odd because a picture shouldn't be taken to document condition of an item in the middle of work. It should have been done at the beginning. I think this is either an attempt by the plumber to cover his tracks in the event of further issues or he was informed to place liability on the tenant. He supposedly reported the possible cause of the leak as someone using excessive force and bending or twisting the pipe which left pliers marks on the hose connection. He did not report that he used a pliers several times certainly leaving tool marks or his apparent bending of the pipe. The video shows him bending the pipe and leaving tool marks with a pliers in the exact locations i am being accused of to place liability on me. I find this very suspicious. I would like to send you or the proper staff the videos of the plumber causing the extra damage and the corresponding messages sent by Deborah Kolher. I think it would be clear for anyone to see that there is some foul play and retaliatory actions possibly being used here. This looks like fraud on the HOA or the plumber. Watch videos attached. Ark Homes purposely does not provide direct contact information to their residents. They give an email address, and Amanda occasionally responds, but never in a timely manner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The first major issue occurred 8/13/25. I created a service request because my air conditioning was not functioning. Amanda's lack of concern caused me to go five days in inhumane conditions rising up to 90 degrees. The property did not have fans and at no time did Amanda offer alternative cooling options, such as fans or a portable air conditioning. The technician that arrived on day two had the necessary part on his vehicle to repair the system, but Amanda could not approve the repair in a timely manner, causing my pet and I to suffer with no alternative for three more days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Most recently, Amanda has completely ignored evidence of the conditions of carpet upon my move out. I was not notified of the inspection taking place when I moved out, so I had no opportunity to be present.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not only have I provided photos of the conditions of the carpet when I moved in and out, I am also in receipt of statements and photographs of the carpet from the tenants that occupied the property prior to me. These show that there are no significant stains to the spare bedroom carpet and the damage that they claim occurred as a result of normal wear and tear to already damaged carpet. Unorganized and unprofessional. Miranda is easily irritated, has a bad attitude, rude and does not possess customer service skills for problem resolution. She fails to respond timely and when she does it's with an attitude that is unacceptable. Others may allow that tone and sarcasm but I personally am not one of them. She quickly assesses blame as an approach to resolution rather than actually working on resolution of an issue. That would take emotional knowledge, common sense and good communication skills. The attachment below is validation, her online review of ARK Management whereby as an employee she has NO business addressing online that "issues" are from "renters" as if they have no voice. How about you do your job and objectively address complaints? Btw I own my property and I personally will not tolerate her behavior. I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 star because there has to be someone else in ARK that can compensate for her rude and poor service. Nadya has always given effort but will need to really assess the complaints that she has and will continue to have with this employee. This will be far more reaching than mere employee counseling or coaching and jumping to conclusions that she must be right will not help these service failures. I've managed employees all of my life and have seen some awful initial circumstances with some great outcomes from great customer service and problem resolution. A good outcome is indeed an option rather than confrontation, keep that in mind. Customer service is a skill set particularly when you're dealing with people who have complex issues presented. If you are inclined to lose your temper quickly, point blame or try to shame someone then you don't belong in customer service. It's that easy. I have read the other complaints about Miranda and ARK, I totally agree and saw those same traits within our conversation. She took it to another level with me making it personal which is unacceptable and she won't do so again. My situation was escalated from her bad attitude. Listening is key, not reacting. It's a SKILL she doesn't possess. She may not likely care but MY condo dues help pay her paycheck. If she does not like her job then she should find another one. This company engages in discrimination and unlawful practises. I have been targeted for being a renter and the HOA involved continues to demonstrate selective enforcement in policies (that are not even in the CC&Rs) that are in violation of the Fair Housing Act (FHA). I have complained as well about cross-contamination of dog feces/urine in the basket ball court where owners allow the dogs to use as a rec area. They failed ever to address the issue. Also, Nadya was informed of a leak in the ceiling outside my unit (our complex has constant water leaks) and she failed to have it inspected. Two days later the pipe burst in the ceiling and then the HOA had to pay hundreds of dollars and I had to have the entire corridor sealed off and fans blowing asbestos air for the next several weeks. Me, as well as other owners do not understand why we use ARK management. They are completely incompetent and unable to handle any tasks. I HIGHLY recommend any association to make sure to STAY AWAY FROM THEIR MISMANAGEMENT. We have had hot water fluctuations that they seem to not be able to figure out, and it has been many months since this was addressed! They say it's a cartridge issue and ask units to replace them. We replace them and there's no change. Then they say it's not them, it must be a homeowner somewhere and it is apparently not their problem. Like okay, if I have a plumbing issue and I can not fix it in my unit, it must be a common (or HOA/prop management) issue. Makes logical sense. According to ARK, nope! It's not homeowner or HOA/management issue, good luck figuring it out! Absolutely ridiculous. I also do not dislike people easily, but I can not stand the poor communication NICOLE brings. Since just trying to find the solution for the problem above, she refuses to answer my calls, refuses to call me back. Currently we have a sewage pipe issue which is involving the MAIN DRAIN of the building. She emails me and immediately states that this is homeowners responsibility. Like wtf?! Unfortunately after 3 months of Ark management, initial impressions turned out be accurate. Customer service does not exist, emails go unanswered, problems do not get solved. For example, I emailed our ARK representative with a problem (large hole in a hallway wall) that was created by the plumber to fix a leak and was given no timeline for repairs. My follow up emails went unanswered. I emailed Elise (who responded to my review on Yelp but can't seem to respond to a direct email. Guess they are more concerned about bad press than fixing the problem. So after 11 weeks with a large hole in the hallway way, no timeline for repair, no status, no nothing. here are some of my concerns with Mission Village Condos under Ark Management. When I first moved here over 10 years ago in 2014, management was responsive and would call back. After some time management continued to change. Ever since, management does not return phone calls or voicemails. Its as simple as, do not have a phone or voice mail if you're not going to use it properly in your professional role, that you are getting PAID to do. People have expectations of condo managers to be heard by their community especially when it has to do with their own home and safety. The excuses are they are so busy and overwhelmed. If you are so busy, manage your time properly, escalate to higher ups, get an assistant, put time aside to return phone calls. DO something, because this continuous not calling your community back is ridiculous. I actually recently left 2 messages a couple weeks ago with no phone calls. To report that homeless was going through hallways and trying to open doors, knock and ring. I have called regarding homeless entering, breaking car windows, looking through parked cars, stealing packages and doing drugs in our complex. About 5% chance that I will get a call back from the condo managers. While HOA fees continue to rise, management does not respond. In addition to the management, Nadya who is known around the community is very dismissive, unorganized and does not manage her time properly. Things take so much work to get communicated or done. Spending budgets rise and you guys are spending money on things we dont need nor care as much about. I would rather have a security guard paid a salary during the day to fend of the homeless as some has already made threats to neighbors and myself. It feels like the association is waiting for something really bad to happen with the homeless till they take proper action. By then it could be too late and something really bad could happen. My partner is a federal agent and he has concerns with me walking around our complex with our dog. So now i've been carrying pepper spray (almost had to use it twice) and getting my concealed license to carry a firearm. When all the condos had to do was call their community back, listen, take action and give them peace of mind. But it seems we have to find our own peace of mind here. The only awesome experiences I have with Ark management is Mark the maintenance guy and the main cleaning lady I see often. Always smiling, listening to our concerns, trying to help and stepping out of their roles. I wish management would do this. Why be in a high level role of a manager if you cant even do your basic fundamental duties of customer service and calling people back? It seems like the work culture at ark management is very toxic due to constant staff change and community feedback. There is a reason why the reviews are horrible on yelp and google. I really hope they take this seriously and take action. I have high doubts, but if they do, I will completely change my mind set about them. Today I was suppose to pick up the keys to my condo's common area. I scheduled an appointment with Miranda yesterday and asked to meet at 10am and she gave the okay. 10:40am - no one shows up, no calls. In between these times, I called Miranda a couple of times to see if anyone was gonna show up. No answer. Eventually she calls back and right off the bat without giving me a chance to explain the situation, she gets annoyed and starts complaining that I keep on calling her. I finally tell her that I made an appointment with her to pick up the keys at 10am, and then she tells me that she's not the one that's supposed to drop off the keys, in a very poor attitude and she knows it. I tried to diffuse the situation by telling her that I'm not angry at her. I just want to resolve the situation. I even tried to offer a solution by asking her the phone number of this other person so I can get in touch, but she says something along the lines: "that's personal information, I'm not giving it to you." This person doesn't have a work phone? I was quite confused. I didn't know anyone else to call but her since she's my main contact point, and she refuses to give me this other guy's phone number. Fine, that's her choice but if that's the case, then of course I'm going to call her, especially if I already waited almost an hour. Who else am I gonna call and what else am I supposed to do? Just sit around hoping someone remembers to deliver the keys? Later she tells me the other person will come in 15 minutes. I repeated that information back to her just for clarity (because I've already wasted 40 minutes of my time already and I don't want any sort of misunderstanding) and she condescendingly tells me: "That's what I just said". A simple "yes" would have sufficed. This was a completely unprofessional act by an employee of ARK Management. It is important that people learn and know how to diffuse tense situations. If the client is already offering you an out, you take it and not make it worse. Emotional intelligence is more important than ever in jobs like this. Please make sure your employees are well trained to handle tough situations. If she had just apologized for the wait and said that someone will come in 15 minutes, I would've been fine with it. Communication is very important. There are always multiple ways to resolve an issue. Don't pick the nuclear one. I hope today was just an off-day for her. I would like to believe that she's normally a courteous person. In any case, please don't treat your clients this way, and always be professional. read more

Three year tenant who never missed a rent payment EVICTED because they would not repair the home after Herricane Beryl. Wasps were coming into my home(bathroom exit vent) for 4 months before they would even address the issue. They sent the basic maintenance tech to replace the outer vent that did not fix the issue. Two weeks after the "repair" wasps returned to the bathroom vent. Once the weather dropped(October) the wasps died or left. I continued to inquire if the issue would be repaired or if they considered it complete. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All I could get was a response apologizing saying they were trying to escalate the issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hurricane was in June...the issue was ignored completely until December. The time they must notify about my renewal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I then began getting lease renewal requests while simultaneously being ignored about the repair.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I replied I intended to renew but also expected the issue to be repaired. From there I received regular emails trying to get me to renew but ignoring my request stating "I understand your issue and I am escalating" while trying to get me to renew. This went on from late December until I was forced into month to month increeasi g my rent $500. Also I was given late fees due to non payment. The kicker? [[HIGHLIGHT]]A day after the late fee posted I was contacted by Ashlii Ward stating at the beginning of the call "I was under the impression this issue was resolved."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So Ava (the person trying to force renewal for 2 months) never escelated the issue or Ashlii was lying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During this call Ashlii implied that the issue was my fault if i disagreed with everyone from ARK.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From there I stated I would get a lawyer involved. Once I said that Ashlii Ward said she could no longer speak. I got home to a calmed r me and emailed Ashlli my preference was to stay. That times were tough and they should prefer to keep a tenant who was never an issue. A day later I was told my lease would not be renewed. All because of THEIR lack of comunication and lack of professionalism. This was all two weeks prior to my daughters 16th birthday. I found a home nearby and was served eviction papers even though they knew I was moving. I was prepared to go to court to prove this was retaliatory but 3 days prior to the date her lawyer called. Once she found out I moved she asked to drop the eviction to which I said no...because I was forced into month to month and late fees. Her reply waa "Its a waste of time since you already moved." I refused...she threatened to go after all money involved to which I said I would do the same. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ashlii Ward CLEARLY never told her the history of the situation. She was under the belief that I simple refused to pay rent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On the Monday the day before the trial I received a notice that thecase was dropped at the request of the plaintiff even though I had turned in evidence to show it was retaliatory. Now ARK homes is trying to say I owe over $7000 on 1 3/4 rent which was $1550 prior to being forced into renewal. I disputed utility costs which began to show on my bill twice though they never had in the three years I lived here. I also requestwd an itemized bill as to how they claim i owed so much money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ashlii Ward responded to all these emails saying she went though everything and couldn't find discrepancies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So this is just being covered up by the people who caused the eviction in the first place. They charged meme for painting and for carpet that had no issue except. I was charged for cleaning and for repair but they have no burden to show any proof of damage to their claim. This property Management group is very unprofessional in responses if they respond to you at all. One of the guys before that was handling my complex would actually come by more often and he was very helpful. As management I deal with upset customers with kid gloves but she lashes out. Very unprofessional. Also, I feel like they cheap out on a lot of the services like paint. We've had these units painted a handful of times and every time the workmanship seems worse. The pool area looks unkept. It's even gotten to the point to where we even donated umbrellas. Due to bad crowds they punish is by locking the bathrooms and took away use of the shower. They only recently opened the bathrooms for those of us that have pool keys but still, they could've done a better job by fixing the fence and gate. The spa/hot tub has been down for about a year or longer. I don't know what else to say or where else to write my complaints because they don't care. Its been 1/2 of year since our exterior property stucco wall as damage (driving thru) by a speeding driver. All accident report info from CHP was provided to HOA dating back. Their excuses are, our HOA manager quite. To much money to repair the damage (but we have insurance on HOA that covers over a million. Contractor fail to over look the job and will not install temporary wall barrier to keep the public from walking into our property. Or having an accident on sidewalk (outside) because there's not a barrier to protect. And last, they are using my dogs as an excuse, because they walk around my back yard. I don't know how many times they stated; we are ready to start, but no show or schedule on their end, as far as coordination. Have not heard from anyone as far as using every excuse in the book to ignored the repair needed. The funniest thing is, they just raised our HOA fees and the common area looks a lot worse (trash everywhere, all vegetation not trimmed, light poles don't work and leaving homeless in our common area (sleeping). On another note: our guess parking lot is used by tenants that rent to park their owned vehicles. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy... I have reached out to ark management SEVERAL TIMES. None of the issues in the community i live in have been solved or even addressed. They play favoritism , because as soon as i put my dog in the back yard to pee I get an email telling me that I'm allowing my dog to poop all over the community. In September 2023 a man crashed into my fence with his vehicle. He discussed with the HOA that it would be taken care of . HOA GHOSTS ME . Then they proceed to tell me that there was no damage to the fence. Once we walked them to the damaged area it was fixed . TOOK 4 MONTHS AND MILLIONS OF EMAILS. Parking is not being enforced due to the fact they simply don't care. Residents park and hog all of the parking because the hoa company only wants a check. read more

They have a huge tendency of giving off an attitude and giving second hand advice when you contact them rather then doing their job and providing resolution to an issue. I've had many roommates in my unit with me who also had terrible experiences with my HOA and how things are ran which is what potentially made them want to move out. Ark-Management HOA is the company that our group uses at Shadowridge Greens homeowners association. The reason for the one star is the fact that there is a lack of communication with the owners from the management company. Communication is one of the building blocks of a management company. they are responsible for communicating with the owners that they work for. this is not happening with Ark-Management, the HOA Board or any of their managers. we've seen a great deal of turnover at Ark-Management and the communication with the owners that live at Shadowridge Greens are falling through the cracks. Anytime you ask "...when is the pool going to open??" You get a canned reply that they are diligently working on applying all the new rules and getting the pool in compliance with the county mandates for opening. No timeline, no details, no date. No bueno! Mama got back last week from her six months back home in the Bayou and said our complex looked more dumpy than it did before she left. She said its worse than the shanties along the Mississippi with the garbage in the stairways and big items of trash piled up behind the small pool. There are more nasty stains on the hall carpeting compared to a half of year ago. Then she found out that we are paying Ark Mngmt a hundred grand a year when our neighbor told her that that was said at our Home Owner meeting. Mama is a little hard of hearing but she can still hear the inside doors that connect our hallways bang shut everytime people go thru them. I wrote to the management about this once and nothing ever got fixed and nobody responded. Mama isn't happy and me either when I take a better look around and see what isn't the best upkeep. Last I checked they were not paid up on their taxes and should not even be allowed to operate. What they do is cater to a select few who keep them employed and allow those select few to trample the law and rules and possibly self enrich themselves through illegal fines hoping you dont sue them. Our condo complex mysteriously switched to ARK a couple years ago, and it turns out that the person managing our property (Nadya Klima) stole our account from the old PM and offered it to ARK, very likely to negotiate staying employed since many of us were already very dissatisfied with her. Since then, planned renovation projects that were previously budgeted have mysteriously gone unexecuted, and concurrently HOA dues have skyrocketed since they took over with little to no explanation as to why.
