This will 100% be mama's new vet. From the moment I walked in they were friendly, greeted me and my dog. It's also very clean! They knew she was in training and they asked if it was okay to pet her and kept the boundaries for her to make sure she continued doing her training. They sat on the floor with her (and me) while doing the exam and really heard me and my concerns. They did not push any unnecessary things. We do have to go see an orthopedic doctor which they had a place for us to go. I would absolutely recommend them.

I took my dog to ArkVets this morning. I called and was scheduled to come in within minutes. I had the BEST experience. Candace was my vet tech and she was lovely. Dr.Wensman was my vet and she was fantastic. They both made my dog feel very comfortable:) and the prices are VERY reasonable. I always panic about going to an emergency vet because of the prices but I was amazed. I will be going to them from now on. Thanks again to those who helped me and Oliver :)

Ribs broken etc. No car no source of income temporarily. She then proceeds to say "well you won't be seen without payment" like they just don't give a fuck . First off I didn't ask to take out a line of credit .(My credit is shit personally) I asked for RESOURCES THAT WOULD HELP fix my service animal leg I would never recommend this place of any emergency unless you're rich. Maybe then they will treat you like a human and treat your dog with respect. Even with pet Insurance you STILL have to pay UPFRONT and you'll just get reimbursed. Pet insurance is a scamm and these people don't gaf unless you're flashing money in their face. Fkkk your emergency. Literally ask the nice nasty receptionist If I can give them negative stars I would. Worst experience of my life goes to VEG

I wasn't expecting to write a review today... much less about an emergency vet clinic... but here…read morewe are. A week ago my little Yorkie got attacked by a cat. Took him to another emergency clinic close by and everything seemed fine. A few days later, he was acting off and took him back to that clinic and he was out on some pain meds for some spinal tenderness. Neither the emergency clinic or I noticed (even after examining him pretty thoroughly) that he had a puncture wound on the side of his jaw. Long story short, went back to that clinic today because I found him soaked in a weird bloody liquid oozing from his face and it was going to be a 4 hour wait. Figured I'd call VEG and see what their wait was and they told me to come right in and they would take care of him. Before I even got to the door, there was a VEG employee standing there to take us immediately back. I didn't even have time to look at the lobby... just straight back and immediately being looked at. Not going to lie, I didn't research VEG much since I was in immediate action mode... walking into the open concept emergency room was a little shocking. However, the care that the staff and doctors took was... beyond what I could have imagined. For what would be an agonizing amount of time where any other clinic would have taken him to the back, I was able to stay with him the entire time... even when they were working on him and cleaning up the wound I was holding him. While I don't want to say I loved the experience... I will say I loved the care and attention that every VEG employee showed. It was honestly worth every penny to bring him to VEG to be treated today. I felt like they really had his best interest at heart. I would highly recommend VEG to anyone who is in need of emergency care. The open concept can take a moment to get used to, but I think you'll find it to be far more comforting than if you were just left waiting somewhere while your pet was taken away from you. Thank you VEG. -Jonathan and Tannin

We had a virtual urgent care call and they were concerned enough that we brought him into The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic to check in on him. After an ultrasound, they found that he had a mass on his spleen and was internally bleeding, and had to go into immediate overnight emergency surgery. The surgery was successful, and after a 36 hour hospital stay, Barkley is back home and on the mend. While this was such a scary experience and few days, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic and their team. They are open 24/7/365, and provided around the clock care. Because of the length of his stay, we worked with and spoke to multiple of their veterinarians and assistants (thank you to Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Fleming, Dr. Goldberg, and Dr. Blackmon), and everyone was so kind, attentive, and caring through every step of the process, gave us calls throughout the night with updates and over the past few days to check in on Barkley's progress, and were so compassionate in all of the care they provided. Barkley was in such great hands. Thank you to the The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic team!

What an A+ urgent vet care experience…read more I found the spot through reading reviews here on Yelp. Unfortunately, my late, sweet angel of a Bichon Frise has recently passed, however it was extremely helpful to have brought her here to this facility to understand more in depth the severity of her medical issue. Not only is the staff here so friendly and empathetic, they are also punctual, efficient and very honest. My dog sitter ended up taking my dog here one night while we were out of town to deal with her chronic vomiting. The vet caring for her that evening spoke with me directly over the phone to go over treatment options. I thoroughly appreciated her honesty. I ended up having to take my dog back here one night a few weeks later due to the vomiting starting up again and her primary vet also suggested what she's going through needs to be handled at an actual animal hospital. This second visit was just as efficient and also they were kind enough to waive certain fees due to us returning back to them in such a short amount of time. I also like the fact that we're able to use payment plan options via Affirm. That was extremely helpful for me during this previous emotionally tumultuous season. Overall, great urgent animal care location. I highly recommend them.

He'd had a full check up within weeks and actually was at VEG about a month before for an unrelated GI issue. We had unfortunately been to several other emergency vets before making it to VEG, as we were out and about when the crisis started. I also had my little pug with me as getting care for my Great Dane was a bigger priority than taking her home. Once again the staff at VEG surrounded us with compassionate care. Nothing could have changed the outcome of the day but I am so grateful that at every moment the VEG staff was working to save my dog and caring so much for all of our comfort. They immediately got several large beds and a blanket for him to lie down and offered me a cushion. They handled him with love and checked on us in so many ways. And they tried. At one point we had something like 6 people working to stabilize him and everyone was focused and on task. I felt they worked on him not like a job but as if he was their own. I know its hard to work on a holiday and I know his death was emotional for everyone. But thank you all because at least I was with him to the very end and he knew he was being cared for. Being able to be with your dog throughout care is such a meaningful difference in the veterinary industry and in both owners and pets experience with vet care, and I feel like VEG always has such caring people. Thank you, though honestly have to say I'm hoping to see you all less in 2026.

Shortly after the vet returned and I knew it was bad news. The vet was kind and gentle with us. The staff took care of my boy while I went home to get my kids so they could say good bye to the dog they had grown up with. They allowed us privacy and time to say goodbye, there was no rush. Extremely Disappointed With Our Experience…read more After a horrific injury to our dog Gunner, we rushed him to this emergency veterinary clinic. We waited hours before anyone came in to speak with us, and eventually we were sent home and told we would be called when his procedure was complete. We later learned Gunner's injury was so severe that he had to have his toe amputated. After another couple of hours, we were called to pick him up. When they brought him out, his foot was completely bloody and dripping with no bandage or covering. Blood was getting all over the lobby, our vehicle, and Gunner. I asked if it could at least be covered, but was told they didn't want to because of swelling. I understand swelling is a concern, but after the traumatic night we had just experienced, seeing our dog carried out looking like he had just come from a freaking war was heartbreaking. We paid $2,000 for his care. I decided to reserve judgment and see if they would at least call the next day to check on him. They never did. In all my years of having dogs, I have never had a veterinary office fail to follow up after a procedure--even after routine vaccinations. After an emergency surgery and amputation, I expected at least a simple phone call. Thankfully, Gunner is doing well and recovering at home. But I am 150% disappointed with the lack of communication, compassion, and follow-up. If this hadn't been an emergency, I would have driven the extra five minutes to another clinic. Our pets are family, and when we hand them over during one of the most frightening moments of their lives, we expect them to be treated with care and compassion. This clinic needs to do better.
