This place is great. The staff really cares about the animals that they see. They really helped us when we took one of my cats that had to cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. They require a rabies shot even if you don't want it. They don't tell you that in advance. They take your pet from you to be examined,even if it is a first visit. They try to get you to do unnecessary tests, even though I had told them I was just there for a second opinion. read more

I really wish the vets had given a better education regarding neutering my 4 year old German shepherd. I was encouraged to neuter him and now almost 9 months later he's a shell of a dog. He's overly aggressive towards strangers, he never was before, he urinates when he's given a simple command like "come", he's refusing to eat unless forced, he's gained almost 20 lbs and he sleeps constantly. His hormones never stabilized and it's heartbreaking my once happy active dog displays the behavior of a elderly dog. read more

I wish I can no star rate this. But anyway My puppy recently died, so I payed $232.79 to get her cremated and back in an urn. Three weeks later, I still don't have her urn, I called and asked what the problem was, turned out they messed up what was suppose to happen with her. We've taken our dog a few times and thought the place and staff seemed good. Today we brought our dog in to have a few things checked out. She had a tick bite that they were asked to look at and no one did. She had a scab on her ear and when they brought her back (they take your pet back in a separate room- that's another story), she was bleeding from her ear. She was flipping her head all over and got blood everywhere. My husband had to come home and change his clothes and wash our dog because of all the blood. Maybe the wound on her ear just opened up but the problem was that no one seemed to care or be concerned about her bleeding everywhere. She was terrified to go in, was panting and shaking when they brought her back in. And this is a very happy, social dog. We've literally only seen her this scared once when she was sick. The nice receptionist brought her water and stuff for her ear- not the helper or Dr. We will NOT be visiting them and as a new rule of thumb, we will not be letting our animals get examined when we aren't in the room and don't know what they're doing. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! I have two Pomeranians; one is 8 months, Emily, and the other is almost 12 years old, Lilly. Dr. Les recently took care of my baby, Emily, she was a hermaphrodite. This was a complicated procedure, but I was never worried. He was so confident, knowledgeable and caring. Little Emily underwent a complete hysterectomy, hernia repair and removal of a "penis-like" appendage. That was three surgeries! He was able to do all of this at one time, so she didn't have to be under anesthesia more than once. I am happy to say that little Emily is doing great. I had consulted with another surgical specialist, but Dr. Les gave me more confidence and I knew he was the one for the job. Dr. Lisa is outstanding. She has cared for Lilly for years, and now we have Emily. Watching her interact with my little ones, is as if they were her own. She remembers everything and will ask about how Lilly has been since we lost Gypsy a couple of years ago. There is no one else I trust as much, for her expertise, compassion and ability to "think outside of the box". She gets to know you and your little one, and knows that what may work for one dog owner might not work in your house. You can see the kindness in her eyes and in her hands as she examines your precious baby. I have been coming here for years, and I want everyone to know that this is the only place to bring your furry kids. I have been using Moon Valley Animal Hospital for my pets for years. I have a dog that is high anxiety, she freaks out over stressed during car rides even their so called "chill protocol" does not work on her, she's also aggressive when it comes to paws and ears being touched. Moon Valley has seen her before and knows this. My poor dog has an issue that popped up with her paws, and she's in pain to the point where she doesn't even want to walk. Previously I was told as long as she's had her annual the vet could prescribe and I could pick up meds. It's too much on my dog to try and take her to them as with my new address they are 15 miles away. They are now telling me that they have to see her for an exam to prescribe anything using the example that it's just Like when a human goes to the Dr. I told them my dog is in too much pain when walking and she gets to stressed for me to bring her down there, I mentioned human doctors utilize zoom and media to accommodate appointments and offered to send high quality pictures of my dogs paws. They do not care that my dog is hurt. They do not care about what they have previously told me. And they do not care about my situation as a whole. They are money hungry, and don't give two shits about your animal, they are not willing to accommodate and help. I'm begging you please do not take you animals here. read more

I really like this place - the staff are wonderful and the vets are kind. They are great with scheduling and I rarely have to wait. I have 3 dogs and they let me bring 2 for their exams, then drive home to get the 3rd and do all my billing at the end. I once had a dog emergency while I was home with a migraine. I don't know how I drove there (luckily it was close) but when I got there, the receptionist could tell I was in a bad way. She took me and my dog into an exam room right away so I could lie down, and she did all the paperwork from there. The vet was also really cool with talking to me while I was lying down. :) And she was able to diagnose my dog's seizures. I've taken my dogs there for 3 years now. read more

We were referred to MVAH and Dr. Lisa close to 25 years ago... Our dogs are a high-risk breed, with multitude of health issues. We have taken all eight of our dogs, as well as my grown sons take their dogs to them. They are highly professional, and have saved some critically ill dogs for us.
