RUDE & NASTY! Don't waste your time. If I could leave 0 stars I would..Horrible service and incredibly rude and unprofessional consultant to the bride and party. Met immediately with hostile attitude. The bride was made to feel unwelcome and degraded! Was only allowed to try 3 dresses no exceptions and didn't even get to choose them. The dresses she brought were cheap looking and even dirty. She had no patience and was very dismissive of any questions or requests made. At one point during the fittings she said "I'm not even going to bother with accessories". No veiling no effort into kindness AT ALL. I believe this consultant was even the owner...so we were VERY surprised. Side note: We went to a DAVIDS BRIDAL same day to restart the day, had a wonderful experience there. You'd think that the experience would be better at a "couture" bridal store. Oh! & we ran into another bride who had a similar experience at Arlet "bridal couture". Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be one of the most exciting moments of wedding planning, but the owner, Arlette, completely ruined that experience for me and my family. Throughout the appointment, Arlette repeatedly insisted that I didn't understand what my booking was, even after I explained that I did. Instead of listening, she spoke to me in a condescending way that made me feel as though I was incapable of understanding something very simple. It was embarrassing and disrespectful. Her attitude toward both me and my family was rude, dismissive, and unwelcoming. Rather than making us feel excited and supported, she made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No bride should leave a bridal appointment feeling talked down to. A wedding dress appointment is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I left feeling disappointed instead of happy. There are so many bridal boutiques that treat brides with kindness, patience, and respect. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. What's the point of having appointments if you can't discover new things? I told her I had never tried that style, but she insisted on only having me try on gowns that SHE selected. $50 is really steep for a place that only lets you try on dresses FOR AN HOUR. I could have pictured myself walking down the aisle with one dress in particular, but I chose to take my business elsewhere. I was not pleased with the lady's approach with me do I called the store asking if they were open and if an appointment was needed the person on the phone said no I was able to walk in without an appointment. Skip it! I feel more comfortable making this review now that I have been to four establishments searching for my daughter's dress. Our experience here left us all with an icky feeling. They just wanted to sell a dress that day and didn't care if she wasn't happy with parts of the dress and kept trying to get her to pick one despite that. They also only had fancier dresses, not the simpler kind she was drawn to. This was the only place that charged $25 for the 90 minute appointment and they basically told us they had nothing for us and to leave 20 min early! Just a disappointing experience overall. A week before my appointment I walked into the store because I saw a dress I liked. The old lady at the front was very welcoming and nice and said all we needed to do was submit a form on instagram and that was it. So I scheduled for today and when we showed up the doors were locked and another younger lady walked out and asked if we had a question but I said I had an appointment. They told me to wait outside and its a very hot day so already i thought their customer service was bad. They could have had us wait inside. When the older lady came out she told us that our appointment wasnt confirmed and I told her that when we came last week she didnt mention any confirmation needed. I then asked her when would I have heard back because I came on the same day and I still didnt get a confirmation and all she said was she didnt know what happened to the appointment. She was very rude and the other younger lady kept looking at me and my family like we didnt belong. I do think they were discriminating based on our looks. I do not recommend coming here. read more
