Initially , our wedding was going to be small with a dinner after the beach ceremony. It grew into a full wedding with just 3 months to plan the whole event. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the store owner Michele and her husband, Steve. Michelle was AMAZING! I found my dress on my first day wedding dress shopping. She was the 2nd store I visited. When I entered the store, I knew that the dress quality and customer service was so much better than the first store I went to. Michelle was very sweet, kind, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the wedding dresses. Michelle, her husband, and Mr. Tux (her dog) provided amazing customer service! She let me try-on as many dresses as I wanted! She also provided a fan that blew straight on me when I got really hot while trying on dresses. She helped me put on every dress and put clips on each one to make the dress fit better and to give me a better idea of what the correct sized dress would look like on me. She also talked about alterations, bustling, and she knew what would look best on me. We were a little late and we went well over our appointment time, but she allowed us to continue trying on dresses until I found THE ONE!!! I really enjoyed the coziness of the store, having the entire store to myself, her full attention and help, the seating area for guests, the stage and mirror and the signs for family members to hold up to express how they felt about each dress. She made wedding dress shopping fun and memorable. I knew I couldn't find the dress I liked the most anywhere else! I was happy to have her pick out dresses that I was iffy about before trying them on. That's how she helped me find THE ONE! I really appreciated her accommodating a 4th guest with me as well. The Beverly Hills Bridal Exchange is tucked away in the Dos Lagos shopping center, kind of in the middle of nowhere Corona. My best friend is newly engaged and wanted to check out a dress shop while we were in a new area away from home. There was a set of newly built apartments and a gas station. The shopping center was clean, easy to navigate and we were lucky to find parking right in the front, but I can totally see how parking is a hassle in this place. The Beverly Hills Bridal Exchange is a boutique-like setting that features designer gowns at a discounted price. The dresses that you see in there are one of a kind, which is nice because it feels a bit exclusive but also bad because the dress of your dreams might need an excessive amount adjustments based upon how big or small it is on you. Some of the sizes were also limited on dresses. My best friend spoke to one of the ladies working that was very helpful, she directed us to the section that had her size (14). Since the 14 section didn't have much that she liked, we decided to shop also in 16 and 18 since the dress was going to need to be altered anyways. For some reason, the lady helping us out did not like this idea and she was constantly redirecting us back to the size 14's even though my friend had stated that she wanted to look at other sizes. When it came to try things on, the lady again told us what was too big and too small and kept saying how we really need to be in the 14s, and then the other employee jumped in as well. I understand that it is their job to be helpful but when do they listen to what the bride wants? We were in there for about an hour and she didn't make a decision that day. The dresses that she tried on were beautiful and I like the idea of being able to purchase a designer gown without the price. read more

My whole experience from start to finish was weird and uncomfortable. To begin, I called on a Wednesday to make an appointment for Saturday. The woman who answered the phone was Brenda. I made an appointment for Saturday at noon. During the call, she asked how many people I would bring to the appointment. I told her 8. She said "oh we typically only allow 5, but it's okay. Go ahead and bring your 8, it's not like we'll kick them out. I'm just going to mark down 5 on here, though." So I wasn't expecting that bringing 8 people would be a problem. Then, an hour or two after I make the appointment, I get a strange phone call from them asking if I can move my appointment to later in the day. I couldn't because I had made another appointment for later that day. I offered to come earlier if that would help. The woman on the phone, I think Brenda again, acted kind of strange and was like "oh well we have another bride coming in and there's a scheduling conflict. Coming earlier won't fix it.." At this point, I'm thinking if there isn't room for my appointment, you never should have let me make that appointment to begin with. We hang up, and I keep my appointment because I can't change it later. On Friday, I get a call from Jennifer, who said she wanted to explain why they tried to change my appointment. She said "we have a VIP bride coming in and she has all the reserved seating, so there won't be anywhere for your family to sit." And again, I told her I couldn't change my appointment and that was fine. Although, I thought using terminology about VIP brides was very off-putting. All your brides should be very important. So then I come in to my appointment on Saturday. A woman named Brenda is my consultant. Not sure if she's the same person who I spoke to on the phone. And from start to finish, everyone at this place provided nothing but poor customer service and were very rude. They all had an attitude. First, it was because I brought 8 people. Which I was told verbally wouldn't be a problem. They actually wanted me to kick people out of the store. I just said, "why can't everyone just walk around the front of the store?" They still had a problem and I just said "I can't kick anyone out, I don't know what to tell you." And throughout the appointment they were saying that they just weren't prepared for the amount of people and it's not allowed and cannot be accommodated. So then I go to try dresses on, and while I'm in the dressing room, the owner comes over and talks to my consultant, right outside the dressing room, and is upset about the amount of people I brought. She said "she didn't pay for this, we can't accommodate more than 5 people." Then, Brenda said "I know that's what I told her." So again - they were being rude and clearly talking about the situation right outside my dressing room so I could hear them. So then I put on the dresses. And the quality of the dresses is very low. When I went to show my family, I had to walk toward the front of the store and my family had to stand around and look that way. I understand the VIP bride was there, but still - it impacted the experience. If you can't provide good customer service and a positive experience, don't let me make an appointment for that time. The whole time I was trying on the dresses Brenda kept saying "no don't move that way. Oh be careful!" Because they sell off the rack, you have to be super careful in the dresses. Just bending the wrong way and they can rip. It adds stress to the experience. Also, Brenda was not great at clipping me in the dresses and couldn't figure out how to keep the dresses on me or pulled in the right direction. Then, the VIP bride left and found her dress (yay for her!). So I was able to use the runway and my family could sit at that time. I made a joke about how "I'm a VIP bride now." And Brenda said "well she paid for that." So basically they charge brides for a positive experience. You have to pay for your family to sit and to use the runway. In my experience at other bridal stores, this is just a given. We decided to leave without buying a dress and on the way out Brenda snarkily said "well you won't find any other dresses at this price point." Again, that was off-putting to me. I understand that you sell dresses for cheap. But for me, a cheaper dress is a bonus. I wanted to have a positive experience with my family, I don't care how much the dress costs. Overall the whole process from start to finish was off-putting. They had a negative attitude and wanted me to have a poor experience because I brought too many people and didn't pay to have a good experience. I would advise future brides to just avoid this place altogether. read more

Beverly Hills Bridal was my first - and last - stop with wedding dress shopping! We scheduled an appointment with Michelle, and I took my mom and one of my bridesmaids. The experience was fabulous. We had the store to ourselves to browse dresses, and Michelle also pulled some based on what I described to her. I felt the prices were very reasonable so I could browse the whole store without fear of picking or falling in love with an outrageously priced dress (I believe everything was under 2-3k at that time in the middle of 2022). The whole atmosphere was relaxed and took some of the pressure off. Michelle was kind, attentive and so knowledgable about dresses, helping me pick a style based on the venue, the weather and my wants. I felt confident buying a dress here on my first stop. Michelle stores the dresses until closer to your date, and then I had 2 alteration appointments with the skilled seamstress. I loved my dress. I felt elegant and confident. I went to Italy for my honeymoon and saw Pronovia's dress shop there! The dress was delicate yet provided enough support not to need a corset or girdle. I had 4 layers, a beautiful long train and a bustle that Maria made sure I was comfortable dancing in. The team- Dae helped me pick the dress and she was just the best, Sandra and Michelle were helpful and Maria made sure I was happy with the way it fit me. I went back three times to get fitted both for length and to take it in. The cost of the dress seemed to be 70% cheaper than other boutiques without lacking quality. I will say I didn't account for how pricey the alteration would be but I understand you get what you pay for and Maria knew what she was doing and she was kind. Clearly aren't aware of your business then. If I have to retrieve my call logs, texts messages AND show the original photo images of WHEN (date) I actually took the photos, I can. The pick up dates are irrelevant to the fact that you had "some" cleaning to do to the dress provided I actually purchased..as far as I'm concerned and fact you released the dress to me and as you clearly stated that I signed liability then the dress was indeed purchased by me but it didn't get cleaned then or after and instead is given to me in this condition. What you may or may not allow does not mean it will get necessarily followed. As it is apparent in how you were unaware I requested to speak to you about this back then. Every time I requested to speak to someone in charge no one was conveniently ever there and I was asked to call back for... not hours but months! At that point I gave up. If I decided to leave a review after so long was because I still cannot wrap my head around how any of this is okay. I really don't get why this is so "appalling" when the condition of the dress and your customer service leaves a lot more room for thought. I don't gain anything from this, and quite frankly I have never spoken to you to think that I have an issue with you, instead I'm speaking as someone who honestly feels your place under delivered in every sense. read more

One of my best friends randomly came upon this store a while back, so when she found out I was engaged she planned a wedding dress shopping day immediately. This was our first stop. Jennifer was so kind and walked us through the process. She talked with me about what I was looking for and although they didn't have anything exactly like it she found lots of dresses very close and was very excited to pull a suprise dress for me to try on!
