Crowded Saturday morning and they were able to accommodate our party of 8 rather quickly. Food was perfect breakfast diner fare. Large breakfast menu did not disappoint. I visit this diner today for the first time, not expecting to be wowed but just wanted some Coffee, French toast and scrambled eggs. Waitress came over, looking upset but I didn't want that to change my mind about the place because I wanted to rate it based on the food not really on service. Waitress took my order, but she was rude. I felt uncomfortable to ask her a question about the French toast because I didn't know how she may reply. Then we overheard how rude she was being to a 80ish year old men... and walked out. I never thought I would walk out on a place while my order had been taken. My family was traveling in the area and we stopped in to Arlington Diner, so this review is based on a single dining experience. What I can say is that our food was absolutely incredible. Delicious and an amazing value - probably the best meal in this category I have ever had while dining out. Whenever I happen back this way, I will make a point of stopping in. I'm from North Jersey, and recently moved to the Stroudsburg area. I had the opportunity to try Arlington diner, and I'm glad I did. It was busy, as you would expect the diner to be, but the service was good, the people were friendly, and the food was excellent. I was surprised that they had Taylor ham, which I asked for on the side, and got two very large thick slices, much to my delight. Done right, not overcooked, and delicious. The ham and cheese omelette also was great, as were the home fries. I have nothing to complain about, and I'm looking forward to coming back to try something on the menu for lunch instead of breakfast. My only complaint is that they close early, and I wish they were open late at night, for a late night/snack. read more

Visited this mom and pop shop while in town, it has a classic mom and pop feel to it. They do practice social distancing but at their own desegregation. Dawn who was our server was extremely sweet, another guy tried to help her and honestly confused our table because he didn't know what he was doing. I order a cheese steak omelet well done. We ate here a couple of days ago and it seemed to be a senior citizen local spot. Which is not a big deal, just not our particular choice for ambiance. My boyfriend and I had appetizers, mozzarella sticks and periogies respectively and these were good. Came here for a breakfast on Sunday. The place is busy! And I mean busy like crazy! The menu is not fancy but it's normal diner fare that is meant to fill you up for the longer day ahead. Small Diner on the outside but glad to be supporting a small business heavily impact by the pandemic. Staff works hard including our waitress who was a sweetheart. If you want a good meal. This is the place, but we had to call the waitress over a few times. She hardly checked up on us. She was more interested in chatting to a co worker. I ordered the ny strip steak medium and through out the steak from tip to tip it was medium well and worked it's way down to almost raw. I love visiting diners because the food is typically good, plentiful and cheap. After seeing the mostly positive reviews, I had high hopes. We were seated fairly quickly on a Saturday morning. It was busy, but not crazy. We must have just missed the rush because once we were seated, the place filled up quickly and people either waited or were turned away. The service was good. Our breakfast orders were taken. They were very fast. It took only about five minutes for the orders to arrive. Incredible! But that was the end of the positive. My corned beef hash omelet looked absolutely pathetic. It looked like they used one egg which was watered down. It was thin and tiny. And the corned beef hash was only a very tiny amount mixed (maybe a tablespoon full of thin sliced pieces) into the watered down batter. A slice of buttered rye toast came with it. There was more substance to the toast than there was in the omelet. This was by far the most abysmal omelet I've ever had anywhere in the world. Not worth the eight or so dollars. My fiancé got eggs, toast and hash browns. It was just OK, she said. Not likely to ever come back here again. read more

Sunday breakfast Very busy, everyone is really nice and helpful. The place is clean, with ample parking. I had pancakes with Turkey bacon. My husband had the same. We also had coffee. The bill was $16.00 which I think was very reasonable. But what was strange is you have to be emailed so they can let you know when thier serving chicken and waffles. I never heard of that anywhere. But this is a one horse town, lol. I guess they do things differently here. So where do I sign up. If the waffles are as good as those pancakes I'll be back. read more

My wife had pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes which she could only eat half. We treated ourselves to lemon meringue pie. All in all good meals. Service was excellent. This was my first time here and the service was fantastic. The owner and the waitresses were all friendly and attentive. They provide individual attention and fresh delights. Now I'm not a big pie person...but good lord these pies are home made and wonderful! Try the blueberry or the heavenly coconut custard. The chocolate custard was light and airy. These desserts are a must try. We also ordered the broiled flounder with butter lemon sauce, a chicken wrap and breakfast. I'm very pleased with this place and will return. read more

Our server, Teresa, was so warm and lovely. Me and my girlfriend ADORED her. Even though we're from out of town, we swear we'd be back in town just to visit.
