    Chilaquiles

The food was good overall, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our visit. I ordered the chilaquiles, which were flavorful and definitely the highlight of the meal. The French toast was decent, but it didn't really stand out or offer anything particularly unique. My only drawback was the pricing, which felt a bit higher than expected for this type of restaurant. Despite that, the friendly staff and solid food made for a pleasant experience.

Rolled in for breakfast and they did not disappoint. Server was engaging and awesome and they were just killing it on the morning playlist. Best steak and eggs I've had in a while with fresh chimichurri, perfectly mid rare. New favorite beverage is banana cold cream latte. 10/10.

We ordered 2 bowls for lunch and they were fantastic! Fresh, quick and most importantly delicious!. The shop is tucked away next to the goodwill on Garnett and the ambiance is enerjetic and inviting. Service is excellent! She answered all our first timer questions. Highly recommend!

Not sure why this place is reviewed this high because I don't think their food is that good. I had a Mexican cashew chipotle breakfast sandwich, it tastes really plain, I feel I can easily make one like this from the things in my fridge at home. It's not really worthy the price. The coffee also tastes so so. The only thing is good was the smoothie that my friend ordered. The store was very small and squeezed, and the sunlight was so strong to sit by the window.

Delicious plus charm...nothing not to love about this spot on the main drag of Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach. My friend and I picked one of the 5 tables outside and had no problem carrying on a conversation with the quiet traffic passing by. Lunch was delicious. She had the chilaquiles with an egg and I had the machaca burritos. Great flavor. Beautiful presentation. And can I rave for a moment about the strawberry lemonade? I would literally come back just for the strawberry lemonade. Bill for the two of us with tip was $67 which felt a little high but I knew I was paying for quality. Will return!

This is a great place if you're on a diet. Got the breakfast skinny burritos--and they are not kidding when they say skinny. You get two, but they're the length of an iPhone or the handle of a fork, and as skinny as a cholula hot sauce bottle or barely bigger than the diameter of a churro. Ten bites and you're done. Comes with a ramekin of beans and a ramekin of sauce. $19 for egg and cheese; $26 if you add a small layer of avocado plus bits of turkey bacon. What got me was the $3.50 charge for the avo. Expect to leave hungry if all you order is a $26 skinny burritos. That said, their smoothies are AMAZING ($9 for like 20 oz of incredible goodness). Can't recommend the Papaya Sunrise enough, and thank god I got it because it's the only reason I didn't leave famished. Came for the burritos, stayed for the juice. Service is excellent.

Had a simple meal at Armonia, which had a very warm inviting feel. There was an aesthetic feel inside along with very clean plating/presentation. Almost had a bit of an LA vibe Ordered the huevos rancheros since I was feeling a heavier breakfast. Have definitely had better versions elsewhere. Wasn't a fan of the mushed beans (not what I was expecting) and felt like the portion of potatoes could've been larger. But with that said, it was still filling with the potato cubes, beans, and two eggs topped with salsa. Wish I tried the burritos instead!

Cute little spot on garnet. Second time now. Food is delish in nice portions and fresh ingredients. Very calm spot with both indoor and outdoor (small patio). Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. First time was after a yoga class. Next was with my partner for a quick off day brunch. Coloring papers were cute :) only thing is it is on the pricier side for a half self serve

finally got to try armonia and it did not disappoint! i only got a snack this time but the cookie was so yummy! want to come back and try more on the menu. plus, the patio is super cute!

On the search for the best breakfast burrito in SD I ended up here in Pacific Beach. I loved this burrito and the salsa that it came with. I ordered the breakfast burrito with all the vegetables and I added turkey bacon. There's just a few downsides to this place. Firstly I wish that they had the option of adding crispy potatoes to the burrito. Not sure why it isn't an option but it's not a big deal. A bigger concern I have is--why is the burrito so expensive? I paid $24 for this before tip and if I had added avocados it would easily have been $30 altogether. Even though it's delicious, that's exorbitant. Still, I was very happy with the quality of the ingredients and would return just to know I am eating a clean, tasty, and flavorful breakfast burrito.

It's got the decor, chairs, and art to match. Jessica was our server and she was amazing! She gave us lots of suggestions on what to try and what is on the menu since it was my first time here. She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! In particular, I enjoyed the fried chicken and waffle tower and their roasted chicken hash. I was surprised they didn't include a side of butter along with their biscuits, but I'll probably just ask for it next time. One important thing to note is that their dishes are HUGE. All 6 of us had our own dishes, but I would highly highly recommend ordering a couple dishes and sharing it family style if you're dining with a group. One note I did have about Hash House is how overstimulating the menu is lol. The menu had a lot of clashing fonts, colors, and clip art images, it made it hard to digest the menu. I didn't even notice some menu offerings because of how busy the menu was. Also, our waitress did initially charge us for 6 coffees, even though we only had 3. It was a good thing we caught that error on the receipt before paying. Overall, the food at Hash House is definitely worth coming back for.

From what I could tell, there was only the bartender, one server, and possibly the manager working the floor. There may have been another employee, but regardless, they handled the rush incredibly well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving despite being clearly understaffed. The place itself is super cute and has a really fun atmosphere. There are TVs everywhere, making it a great spot to catch a game, and they have a nice craft beer selection. What I ordered: * Chimichurri Sliders ($16) - One of their specials. You get two sliders with no fries, so I'm not sure how much of a "special" it really is. They were decent, but nothing memorable or worth going out of your way for. Overall, I'd definitely come back to grab a beer and watch a game because the vibe is great. Food-wise, though, I found it pretty mediocre for the price. Burgers are around $25 with fries, and the appetizers (or "bites") range from $18-$25.. I was still hungry after the sliders and wanted to order a side of fries, but they don't list sides or prices on the menu, so you have no idea what anything costs. I ended up passing because they only offer steak fries, which just aren't my favorite. One big bonus is that they're dog-friendly, which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a fun place to watch sports, enjoy a beer, and hang out with friends, I'd definitely recommend it. Just don't come expecting the food to be the highlight.
