Ordered via DoorDash. Can't trust the dashers! I ordered tater tots, onion rings, cole slaw, and a Rueben. The cole slaw looked like it had been almost all eaten, there were very few tater tots, and only 4 onion rings. The only thing that looked like it wasn't touched was the Reuben but I don't trust the delivery anymore. Why am I giving Arni's a bad review? In this time of covid and more delivery, SEAL YOUR FOOD BAGS! Everything was wide open and I don't trust these deliverers anymore, especially Doordash and Grubhub. I threw the entire order out and am seeking a refund. Wouldn't have mattered if it were sealed, the food was ice cold. Ever eaten cold tater tots and a cold reuben? Not good! Our waitress was Bree, we were sat in a nice comfortable booth 1/2 moon booth. She was quick to get to our table and get our drinks. Their sweet tea is better than McDonald's any day just fyi! We were hesitant on going because some of the reviews I've seen... but she knew the menu, she stirred us in the right direction of good food! We had the white wedding pizza she suggested adding chicken to give it more substance. It was great. She said breadsticks were good too. She was right. Dipping sauces were good as well. I just cant praise her enough... I was grateful for her honest. She even told us what wasnt the best, or not to order, or what wasnt popular. Something else that is important to me is my husband drinks so much we we are out... if you keep his soda full or keep bring a new one before hes out or on it so hes not looking for you... that's a good server to me. We typically love this place for a casual meal. Tonight we ordered take-out and were very disappointed. The southern chicken salad came with a very large chunk of lettuce core. We ordered 2 dressings and received none. Since no one wanted a dry salad at our picnic in the park, that $14 salad was thrown away. The other 4 meals were mediocre. Great place for takeout! I grab pizzas from here on the way home from work and they are always perfect! Arni's has a huge menu with several different items on it. The specialty pizzas are great! My personal favorite is Aiden's Big Show and you can't go wrong with meatballs on a pizza! The restaurant always seems to draw a crowd around dinner time although I've always just ordered takeout. They also have special parking near the back making takeout orders even easier to get in and out and on your way back home to enjoy their awesome food! I look forward to grabbing a seat inside sometime and trying a few other items on the menu like their Tenderloin sandwhich...yummmo! read more

Several times a year when I visit I get a reservation for a dozen coworkers to get together while I'm back in town visiting. This week I've called several times to make the reservation but they had phone issues, today I got through and was transferred to the manager and I told him I'd like reservations for 12, he said not happening we don't do reservations, I replied I've always made reservations and i had already told everyone to be there at 7. He again said no it's going to be first come first serve, I said I could be there early to get our table and he said no not until everyone gets here and it's Saturday we are busy and he couldn't accommodate our crowd. I explained I'm terminal and one friend lost her son and we were looking forward to getting together, his reply " not my problem" and hung up. I will never ever go back not will any of my post office people! I've been to Arni's only once before and although I'm not a huge pizza fan, the food was pretty good. I got the pulled pork, and because I am one picky person, got it without anything on it other than the pork. They did a great job making sure I got it the way I ordered it. It's a little out of the way, the only reason I went was because we were nearby. The service was acceptable, not horrible or fabulous. The best part of the meal for me is the fries, and believe me, that's enough to get me to come back again. read more

I was excited when I walked up to the front door and saw the "People love us on Yelp" sticker. I thought "This is gonna be good!" But alas, it was not. Service was fine, no issues there. Really, it was the food. I ordered a roast turkey sub, half, and fruit cup. My dining companion ordered the chicken salad sandwich. When thinking of a sub, I envision slices of tomatoes, onions, and strips of bacon. This sub had none of that. It was diced tomatoes and onions with bacon crumbles. The bread was plain, nothing special. I realize that most fruit is not currently in season, but the fruit that was served was anemic looking with some of the melon pieces having small pieces of rind. The chicken salad sandwich was greasy according to the other person. Maybe we should have split a pizza since that's what everyone seems to rave about. Won't be rushing to return. read more

I used to live at the apartments right next door, so believe me I wish this were a good place. They've got Wee Mac and Fat Tire and Busted Knuckle on tap, which are three of my favorites, which is nice. But they close so early---what is the point of even having a bar when you close this early? I used to want to watch Monday Night Football there, and I'd walk up and they'd already have the chairs up on the tables. The pizza is not good. The bar food is typically pretty good, if typical. One time I ordered their cheeseburger on a pretzel bun. The pretzel bun very obviously had blue mold on it. So I pointed this out---they took the burger away, and the manager came out a few minutes later, apologized, and gave me another burger. *The second one also had blue mold on it!* Possibly more. How can you not even look down to check that the burger doesn't have mold on it the second time around? When he brought the third burger out, he explained that the whole bag of pretzel buns had been moldy. Shocking. If you serve up moldy food to a customer, take it back, and serve up more moldy food, you have go to do better than merely offering a few bucks off of that burger on the final bill. It was a while ago, but I don't even think they refunded the full price of the burger---and they certainly didn't comp me or my fiancee anything else. So this cheapness basically begged for me to tell others about the incident. Kudos. read more

My husband and I used to always go to Arni's on Indy's northside when we lived there and we never left dissatisfied. Today's visit to the Greenwood location was only the second time I have been there. To say it was less than stellar is being generous. Our $32 lunch (including appropriate tip) was little more than slow-served overpriced freezer fare. My daughter's lasagna was a saucy, soupy mess that consisted more than anything of sauce rather than layered noodles, sausage, and cheese. My Firecracker Shrimp was made with extremely TINY, very heavily breaded frozen shrimp that were quite obviously not prepared in-house and then deep-fried for too long. The dish was then topped with barely any "firecracker" sauce. This was definitely not an appetizer (I ordered it as an entree) worthy of the $10.99 price tag. I wanted to share with my daughter a place where her dad and I loved going before we had children but instead treated her to a disappointing Saturday lunch out. Fail....... read more

As I have written in other reviews, my husband talks about Arni's as a mythical substance and we often plan out Indiana trips out with stops at Arni's. This was our first stop off at this one and Greenwood. I have to say it is one of the nicest ones we have been too. The inside is big and well decorated. We had excellent service and out pepperoni pizza was delicious. Cooked perfectly so that it was crisp and not too greasy. Really the best Arni's we have had in a long time. read more

This is based on my 1 experience there... 40 minute wait, while an entire dining room was clear. Waitress checked up on us every minute before we ordered but didn't check on us more than once after we got our food. The pizza was not that great (I tried the BBQ Chicken.. and it was just okay) and the bus boy showed his attitude/dislike toward us for staying more than an hour talking, while he wanted to clean our table. I barely felt comfortable there, while being watched by him... My husband didn't care for their cajun pasta (he said it had no flavor.. and I tried it and couldn't even stomach a 2nd bite.. not worth the pasta calories if you can't taste anything!) This is actually my new favorite of all the Arni's I've been to. The last few times I've gone to the old original Arni's in Lafayette, they're just not the same. The pizza doesn't come out as good or look as appetizing. The pizza at this Arni's was phenomenal and just like I remembered Arni's should be. I went to Arni's with a group, so I had the opportunity to sample more of the menu than I normally would. It's been a long time since I've had pizza this good--thin crust, quality toppings and lots of mozzarella--just how I like it. We had a classic pie of Italian sausage, peppers and onions and a less traditional buffalo chicken pizza. In addition to buffalo sauce, the chicken pizza was topped with mozzarella, cheddar and smoked gouda. I think the gouda is what made it so spectacular. Quite frankly, I think you're crazy if you go to Arni's and don't order this pizza. It's just that good. The Italian sausage was great too. Three different colors of peppers and sweet onions were the perfect complement to the sausage. We also got to sample a salad and two sandwiches. Ava Rose's Chop Salad combines crisp lettuce, bacon, turkey, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, onions and cheese in a vinaigrette. Other than the fact that it was slightly overdressed with the vinaigrette, I really liked the combination of flavors. One of my fellow diners gave the Pork Tenderloin a "solid 7" for a nice, thick piece of pork and less than impressive breading. The Sicilian Sub also earned high marks. Lots of meats piled high with onions, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, two cheeses and a sun dried tomato vinaigrette--what's not to like? read more

Ok, a person just have to love Arni's! I enjoyed the one in Lafayette when in College, I enjoyed the Southside location when living on the Southside. I have enjoyed the Lebanon location. Let's face it, if there is an Arni's nearby, I'm going to stop in. This was a gathering with family at the Southside location and we had such a great time. The pizza was amazing, the staff was truly incredible. We have a tendency to be a crazy group when all together, their team played right along. I had their pizza at mallow run and it's not close to as good as when you get it at the restaurant. We are obsessed with Arni's! Before we went to eat here, I thought it was just a pizza place, but I was so wrong! We've eaten here 3-4 times and it's wonderful each time. My husband loves their BBQ chicken pizza and always gets a bigger one so he has leftovers for later. I typically go for the Ragin' Cajun Chicken Sandwich, which is amazing! Arni's was an average affair. I appreciate that it is a local change but I am not overly impressed. I had a Stromboli that didn't have enough sauce on it and tasted somewhat bland. Upgrading from French fries to a healthier option costs you an extra two dollars. The food was nothing amazing and was just okay, not great service. Really nothing great about the experience and the food was below what a lot of Italian restaurants have. There are much better options out there and was disappointed. When I walked in I noticed that there were plenty of tables open but we were told to wait 10 to 15 minutes. I think they overheard us talking about the wait and seated my group of 3 at an awkward table that is meant for 9. We asked them to move to a smaller table and it was not a problem. We then ordered the devour downtown deal that gave us 2 salads, a pizza, and a dessert. To call these a salad was laughable. The "salad" was piled on with cheese and the dressing that I got didn't even reach the few bits of lettuce that was in the bowl. The pizza that we had wasn't bad. This restaurant is a typical American-style restaurant that, overall, is disappointing. I ordered a small sausage pizza and I was underwhelmed. I appreciate locally owned businesses and all, but, from the few times I've been there, the food has not reflected the restaurant positively. The service here is good, but it is often busy, so, if you do decide to take the risk and go for dinner here, be prepared to wait because you'll have to fight a crowd.
