I did not realize after all my years at Purdue that Arnis was based out of there! I came here last weekend for a rehearsal dinner. It was such a fun place to have it. We had a private room but plenty of tables and booths to use for the large crowd. I was extremely pleased with all the food items. The food was served buffet style and I enjoyed everything!! Salad was good and the wings with garlic parm were tasty. My favorite though was the pizza and breadsticks - I could not decide if the cheese or marinara sauce was the better dipping sauce so kept going back and forth. The pizza was great and not too greasy. We had tons of leftovers and were able to take some home and it heated up well and was just as good leftover. Our waitress was attentive and did a great job taking care of a large crowd. She was quick with refilling pizzas and drinks. I live on the northside of Indy and am sad that Arni's is not closer but I will definitely be back for more of their pizza & breadsticks! read more

The pizza is still as good as always. One of my favorites but I think they've gotten cheap with their breadsticks. I know it sounds petty but they used to have great breadsticks. These tasted like the premade sticks that you get at Olive Garden. And there was a hint of freezer burn. Go back to the old ones. They were much better. read more

We were seated in the bar which is ok with us less noise. Ben was our waiter he was wonderful. When we go back we will ask for him. He told us about the drink specials so we ordered. Busted Knuckle yes please. Ben told us $5.00 appetizers till 6:00 so I got Chicken Nachos and they were good. We LOVE to try new local restaurants! Arnie's is like 4min from our house tucked in a corner off ST RD 135. We came in and were immediately impressed with the decor and sturdiness. I mean it really feels like it was really well built. They have a straight forward menu thats still eclectic so everyone will have something to choose from. Our waitress was nice and on it. No matter what we needed. Its a dress casually kinda place and we like those for a quick night out with/without the kiddos. We tried the Korean BBQ tacos and a sandwich. Kiddo note: there is space for a large family. Definitely room for a stroller. They also have a kid friendly menu. Adult note: They do have a bar. But even if you bring the kiddos thw decor calls for you to still feel like your apart of the bar area. read more

This family friendly restaurant was awesome. First, they easily accommodated my party of 18, yes, 18. My drink was always full, without prompting. They have a wide range of menu items to chose from (burgers, wings, pizza, salad...), and the waitress was totally awesome. I ordered the Big Daddy pizza and it was pretty good. The breadsticks are a nice appetizer to start your meal. They were pretty good. The food is reasonably priced. The place is clean and there is ample parking in its private lot. read more

Arni's used to be our spot when we lived in Greenwood. We got to know the waitresses and had our favorite dishes. My wife particularly loved the Southern Fried Chicken Salad and I was fond of the mini Cheeseburgers. We always ended our dinner by sharing the Oreo Brownie Blast which we still use as a standard to rate desserts by. So, when I returned in my first time in about four years, I was surprised that there was very little change in the layout/decor: Still plenty of parking around the building, a front dining room that can be used as a small event space, a separate bar, and a large dining area form the layout of the space. But the space felt different. My waitress was friendly, but seemed a little forced as she hustled trying to keep all the tables. She did a good job getting the order in, keeping ice water handy, and processing the bill. The food, I ordered the Arni's Club, was fine. Generous amounts of turkey and ham, with bacon and two kinds of cheese, and a little bit of mayo made for a hearty meal....just nothing exciting. Maybe some kind of condiment with a bit more spice would perk it up. The cole slaw I selected for the side was pretty good. It was on the sweet side. I've liked everything I've tried at Arni's. The pizza is my favorite!! Carry-out is fast and convenient with a separate entrance & parking!

Not good. I was very disappointed by our meal. It was our first visit to this Arni's and our food was cold, there was gristle in my patty melt which made it practically inedible, our firecracker fried shrimp was cold and bland, and the marinara to our mozzarella sticks (the only edible thing we ordered) was water with floating tomato chunks. We touched maybe 1-2 pieces of our shrimp and I took maybe 2-3 bites out of my sandwich (all of those bites being filled with gristle) and the burger was disgustingly unseasoned, tasted like they cooked up some pieces of ground meat and threw it on a sandwich. It was very expensive for the quality and service we received. Will not be back. Save yourself a trip, I heard the location up North is better. read more

I have unsuccessfully tried for 30+ years to recreate or find a salad I like as much as Arni's Jr. Finally, I returned to this wonderful restaurant and ate the Original version (2 days in a row) but I still don't get it. What makes this simple salad so Outstanding?? Is it the perfectly chopped ingredients?! Or the celery dressing? Or the taste of the croutons? Or the precise amount of radish and green onion?? Quality and service lately has been lacking at this location. Dining in a few weeks ago after waiting 15 minutes we had to flag our server down to get menus and water and the place wasn't busy at all. Last few times we've had delivery the food quality has been iffy. Tonight sent me over the edge, Unfortunately I will not be patronizing this place anymore. Sandwich delivered with these clearly rotten avocados and the order was half hour late, not drivers fault. We tried Arni's about five years ago when we first moved to this side of town and were decidedly unimpressed, but we decided to give them a shot again out of the blue and were pleasantly surprised. That said, we've done only carry out twice and Door Dash delivery once - we haven't dined in at this restaurant since that bad experience five years ago, so keep that in mind as you read this. The pizza is very solid, and one of my wife's favorite thin crust pizzas in the area. The sauce is pretty heavy so we do recommend light sauce on the pizza. The pepperoni is more like pepperoni bits/pieces and not full slices of pepperoni -- I personally don't mind, but my wife is particular won't eat their pepperoni because of it. The Legendary pizzas I've tried have all been very good - Aiden's Big Show is great if you like meatballs, BBQ chicken is good as well if you want BBQ sauce, but Jessica's Roasted Potato is my favorite - a little lighter sauce than the others, and a little ranch to top it off. One last note, I don't recommend the breadsticks--they're nothing spectacular. The dipping sauces all around are a little unimpressive for my taste as well - the cheese is rather spicy though if that's what you're looking for. read more

I haven't been to an Arni's in about twenty years. Frankly, I haven't missed anything. Arni's food, no matter what I've tried, seems to be food that comes out of a box or bag and is heated before being served. This time was no different and reminded me why I don't eat here. Even worse, the server was just a downright witch who felt it okay to speak to us and another table as though she were doing us a favor by her mere presence there. Great atmosphere, friendly staff! Family dining areas are nice spacious and bar area is open with good seating at many tables plus bar top seating. Their pizza is one of the best in town. We usually go with the 'Deluxe' (Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushroom, Onion and Green Pepper) .... crust is thin and crispy and sauce is just right! pizzas were supposed to have extra sauce and the pepperoni one extra cheese as well. Neither of these pizzas were made correctly and dry as toast. ThIs location continues to fail to make the pizzas we order correctly. The Columbus IN location has never had this issue so I'm not sure what the disconnect is with your location. By the way this has been an issue for years. We keep trying to give them a chance but they don't get any better. Would have given less than 1 star if possible. read more

Arni's does indeed have great thin crust pizza! Great prices and a nice atmosphere. We sat at the bar and received wonderful service even though the bar was poppin'! They also had some really great daily specials. We ordered a couple of beers and half order of breadsticks, only 3 breadsticks but it was a perfect start for the two of us. Yesterday was my last visit to Arni's in Greenwood. While the food was good (overpriced in my opinion for what we got); the part of the restaurant that my wife and I were seated (on our anniversary mind you) was dirty. The table across from us had napkins, food and straw wrappers underneath it. (Looked to be from many prior guests) We were "greeted" by the "hostess" who had the personality of a rock. It was: a monotone greeting of - how many? Nothing else - we just followed her back to the table then left she left. Nothing but a stone face look, as she went back to "greet" incoming guests. After trying to get into another establishment for dinner and a horrible experience our large party ended up at Arni's for my brother's birthday. We were seated very quickly and our drink orders and appetizer orders were taken. Drinks came out quickly and our party ordered entrees. With a table of 8, our table enjoyed 3 pizzas, an order of cheese fries and an order of onion rings. I tried all of the food and it was very good. We had a sausage pizza, sausage and pepperoni, the meatball and the white wedding. Everyone was satisfied and we even ordered the cookie dessert. The service was good as well. My sister and I visited this location last Saturday night for dinner. We stopped in as they were participating in Indy Wing's Week. We were able to score a pound of bone in wings for under $6 along with dips and celery, what a steal! The service was extremely friendly, outgoing and efficient. The server went out of her way to make recommendations as my sister had never visited before. We ended up with a pound of wings each, we went with the garlic teriyaki and they were excellent. We also ordered a basket of fries which wasn't much more than a side so we could split them. Our server even brought us cheese sauce which is amazing with them! We've been to Arni's several times, just not typically for pizza. :-) The pizza is delicious, but they have so many great options to choose from! The salads are wonderful. I love the Jr Salad (iceberg lettuce, mozzarella cheese, radishes, turkey, ham, green onions, and croutons) with Thousand Island. I always ask for chopped tomatoes to be added - I think it tastes better. We've also tried the pork tenderloin (which even our picky eater pronounced as 'delicious'), burgers, soups of the day, fish, and more. No complaints about food and service. Visited the Greenwood Arni's location on 12/2/2022 for a late dinner. We typically enjoy eating in the the bar area, due to speed and quality of service. On this evening, our entire dining experience was, to put it lightly, sub-par. We ordered the mushroom appetizer, an Arni's Senior salad to to split and 2 beverages. The salad came out ahead of the appetizer, which was a minor concern. However, the salad was full of LARGE iceberg lettuce stems and dark green soggy bits of lettuce (I presumed) and little to none of the chopped cold cuts and cheese. We sorted out the edible parts & informed our server that the salad was poorly made and composed mostly of throwaway bits. She was kind enough to remove the bad parts from our table... oh, and the yellow soggy bread was untoasted. We made light of this, and the response was to bring back the basket with same cold, soggy bread AND 2 pcs of burnt bread. The grand finale was the mushroom appetizer, which delicious, as always, but cold. So much for the food highlight. We did order two adult beverages. The wine showed up straight away. But, the beer never did, in spite of 3 reminders. At the end of the meal, the bill showed up with, you guessed it! A charge for the beer. Our server, commented that "she was not on her game tonight" and removed the erroneous charge. Overall, extreme disappointment is an understatement.
