It's been literally over 20 years or more since I've gone to a Noble Roman's. The last time I went many years ago I thought their pizza was just average. It didn't impress me enough to become loyal customer. There are so many pizza places to choose from in the south side area that after awhile you just end up settling on a few faves based on your own experience and your personal taste preference especially as far as the quality of the food . I decided to try Noble Romans as a change of pace recently and met a friend at the Franklin location for lunch because she lives close by. We went recently around noon on a weekday. I was really surprised we were the only ones there except for another table. That's pretty much the way it was the whole time we were there the whole time. We decided to get a personal pizza and the salad bar option. I always like a good salad bar. Their salad bar was lacking quite a bit. They needed to put more lettuce in the lettuce bin and the lettuce that was in there was not looking very good and was basically empty in the pan. I asked if they could replace it or add some more. She did that, but instead of replacing it, all she did was dump new lettuce on top of the old stuff. The rest of the salad bar just didn't look fresh. Their choices were not as vast compared to other salad bars that I've been to. The salad dressings were varied and OK or acceptable, When our pizzas came out, they were just OK as well. For some reason, they threw too much sauce on the top of my pizza which was kind of strange and I had to scrape much of it off. I can honestly say I was a bit disappointed with our visit there and I probably won't go back. Our server was nice for the most part. Just ok, went in with my young son to grab a pizza and breadsticks. They do not offer meatlovers on small pizzas and half/half. They did not have red sauce to offer for the breadsticks and the fountain machine was out of the fruit punch. Food was ok, service just ok. 5/10 read more

I was headed somewhere else when I spotted this location for Noble Roman's and realizing it was a full blown sit down restaurant with table service. It is the same menu and concept as their newest location on hwy. 135 in Greenwood. I ordered the Baked Ham & Cheese because I loved the last one I ordered. Then I discovered today, Wednesdays, is 20% off on food for seniors 60 and older. If you haven't tried one of these sandwiches, snag a bite off one of your friends' sandwich after you twist their arm into ordering one. It is the Caesar salad dressing on it that really gives it a unique flavor and taste. My sandwich today was every bit as good as the last time. On the way to the restroom I passed by the salad bar. It looked pretty good and I'll have to get that the next time. The restroom was clean and stocked. Parking was plentiful. read more

This place has been consistently good over the last 6 months or so! Maybe longer but that's when I started going here again. The Sicilian is what I always get and it's fantastic! One of the best pizzas I have had and I've had pizza in NY, Chi, Las Vegas, Denver, etc. The salad and blue cheese dressing was really good as well! The staff has been really good too! Very nice and they don't make you feel unwanted like some places do. I would highly recommend and will def be back! read more

Why would I drive over 50 miles for this good pizza, service and salad bar? Because it's that good! Everyone that works there is nice and friendly and they go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect, even if it takes a few minutes more. My husband ordered the meatball sub and since a newbie baked it on the wrong rack, they redid it instead of serving it to us too crusty. The salad bar is always clean and well stocked. The breadsticks were great, as is the deep dish pizza. Parking is easy and they can handle large groups of folks with no problem, as I've seen 8-12 folks come in at once without any issues. Excellent! My family and I have been wanting to dine here since they opened. Grew up with the company years ago. The new revamped Noble Roman's did not disappoint. We ordered two medium pizzas, one cheese, add extra cheese. The other, pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, add two orders of breadsticks. Both pizzas were baked to perfection. Unfortunately, my heel is fractured so this was a pickup. I didn't realize I ordered when they were closing in 32 minutes. My wife picked the order up and the crew were so nice and helpful. I was worried the breadsticks would be sad and stale since it was so close to closing. But, they were fresh and so close to the old original. The nacho cheese and garlic butter were just like I remembered. All in all the food was great! Would highly recommend. read more

We have been to this Noble Roman's twice in the past week. We were treated great and the food was good. Let me add, we were displaced when a tornado destroyed our home on March 31st. We have a bird we take everywhere with us now, because we cannot leave him in the motel room we are presently living in. He has been welcomed everywhere, even here at Noble Roman's. But today a woman told us we could not have him in their restaurant. So we left, and we will NEVER go back. And we will tell everyone to avoid this restaurant too!!! read more

Staff was very nice and friendly. Place is very clean. Beer (on tap) was good & cold. Now for the food... we got a pizza with bread sticks and also the salad bar. The bread sticks arrived quick and hot. They were quite good. The salad bar was okay. My wife didn't like the look of the lettuce but I ate some & it wasn't bad. Neither one of us liked the pizza. It was a large hand tossed with pepperoni. There was nothing wrong with the way it was made. It was done just right. We had issues with the sauce... it's like watery tomato sauce. The cheese was okay. There could've been more pepperoni. And the crust wasn't great. I've had worse pizzas but it's been awhile. The place was doing a good business so obviously many people do like the food. Maybe that kind of pizza is your thing, but we didn't like it. read more
