Looking for a good burger on Yelp, this place had great reviews and we tried. Honestly the burger was good, not great but good, at 4pm on Friday we ordered 2 burgers, a chicken sandwich and a hot dog, it took over 20 minutes for the food to come out even though there was only one other table. Seriously this place is dirty, the floors, the tables, the bathroom, all sticky, the mens bathroom had so sticky floors that it sounded like glue, the paper dispenser on the floor, the women's had the sink hanging of the wall and all filthy, does that matter? Well if they can't clean the dining room are they cleaning the kitchen?? I doubt it. The fries and multiple sauce options are delicious! We got a large fry to split and had Strawberry Ketchup and Caramelized onion aioli. We ordered black and blue, fat and juicy, spicy pickle, and peanut butter and bacon burgers. Everyone was happy with our choices, and we will come back when we're in Tulsa again! The menu has a lot of options but we settled for the basic the first time, double cheeseburger and we split a large fry. Ordering was fast as usual they ask for a tip at the register but you fill and refill your own drinks and bus your own table ...so FYI on you automatic tippers, not sure what we are tipping for unless you get a few beers. The burger came in a Togo bag, fries in another. Opened the burger and the first thing that came to mind was "are these patty's frozen and premade"? The burger was about what I might expect from a theme park burger, not great but not horrible, Luke warm so I could tell the Pattie's had been sitting for awhile and ...we both got the exact same burger and at the end were very underwhelmed. One of the best burger places in the US. Had been to the original location soon after they opened and hadn't been back in a while So my lunch here was absolutely phenomenal! Had the Spicy fried pickle and Jalapeno burger. Excellent. Perfect amount of heat and the pickles balanced it out. Great cheese sauce on it as well. So good! What blew me away and caused me to overeat big time was the Thai Peanut Butter Wings OMG! Best wings i have ever had! Literally amazing- the peanut butter sauce was creamy, with some heat and some sweet topped with cilantro. I can't communicate really how good these were. Excellent fresh cut fries were my wife's favorite. Love the variety of dipping sauce. The standard ranch was great. The jalapeno aioli was ore favorite- not overly spicy, just great flavor. When a burger fix is needed, Fat Guy's burger come to the rescue. This is my honest review about their burgers in this restaurant is definitely better than a regular fast food burger. They are juicy and the toppings are generous. However, they are also very greasy and the burger is not appetizing to look at. It is great to satisfy occasional burger craving but not for healthy daily eating. Their fries aren't as crunchy as I remembered. But it goes well with a beer and the star is the aioli. We usually order garlic aioli. It's tasty and not overly powering. I wish they sell them in a jar! Although the place isn't very busy the time I was there, I couldn't pick a clean table to dine in. All their tables were pretty sticky. Please clean them. I still remembered the first time I went to this place a year or so ago. It was so very delicious, if they can maintain that consistency, I would definitely give them a 5-stars. read more

My girlfriend got the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger and I got the Sweet Caroline! The Sweet Caroline had a great mixture of crunch from the coleslaw with a very juicy patty and also nice tender pork (I added jalapeños)! The saltiness from the bacon mixed with the earthy flavor of the peanut butter with more juicy goodness from the beef was a phenomenal bite! I love tasting and RC knew that so he hooked us up with a good selection of sauces! The volcano was my favorite but the strawberry ketchup was incredibly unique and the pepper corn and garlic are both awesome as well! You could mix and match and dip if you want as well! 3 VERY SMALL complaints...my patty was a bit overcooked. A bit past medium is way too much. I should have specified medium rare! Have been here dozens of times, big fan of the Drillers and ate here before games for years. Visited a couple of months ago, everything was off, and the main seating area was filthy...even with only two tables occupied. Stopped in last night before the hockey game, BIG mistake! Still very dirty, could see grill was coated in black, and in need of cleaning. Only two workers for the whole building, multitasking not getting it done. Burgers- normally love them, they were horrible. Black "soot" from the grill, should have known better and left. Family order of fries was literally soggy and not edible. Prices are now ridiculous- two burgers, shared large fries, and two regular drinks were $30 with tip. Pulled last two Health Department inspections- rodent droppings and gnats...along with many more violations! Sorry, off our list...permanently! read more

Great place to get a carb fix (a major carb fix)!!! All standard burgers are doubles so I would definitely recommend ordering off the kids' menu. These are still full size burgers but only a single pattie. You can customize to your heart's desire. I added green chiles, fried onions, cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and mustard. Great combination. We split a large order of fries which was, again, plenty. If you order the large fries, you get two complimentary dipping sauces. We always go with the sriracha ketchup but this time we also tried the Parmesan peppercorn. Delicious!!!! Another note: If you order water, you will get a tiny cup, barely bigger than a dixie cup. We got a ton of sauces to try out with the fries. Caramelized onion aioli - middle ground Chipotle aioli - my fave Garlic aioli - his fave Parmesan peppercorn - my least fave Volcano - my bf's least fave - too spicy for him! I got the spicy fried pickle burger, which was the clear favorite for both of us. He got the peanut butter bacon burger, which he said was super dry--like "stick to the roof of your mouth" dry. This place deserves all the stars at least based on food. Let me start out by saying this is one of my 2 go to places for food delivery when staying in Tulsa for work travel. I haven't been to the place itself, but instead have it delivered when working a late night. That being said, I always expect food to be not as good when getting it delivered, its not as warm or fresh and because of that you take a hit. That being said you don't here. This food is fantastic delivered. It's hot, its packed well, it tastes fantastic. I've picked multiple sauce options, and all are great with the fries. I've done the milkshakes and they are very very good. I've done multiple types of burgers and all are delicious and exceed the desciption. If you want a burger, or even if you don't know what you want and you are in Tulsa, give this place a shot. The new system confused the staff member so bad that ordering 3 burgers took 10 minutes. We got our food and we're starving. Where to begin... first it was so soaked in grease. The buns were a soggy mess. And the meat. What kind of meat is grey? It looked like a processed sausage patty with a radioactive pink interior. Fat guys on memorial is a casual bar style restaurant that serves awesome burgers. My husband gets the regular burger (two patties) but I opted for the kids burger (one patty) which was a perfect size. It still comes with all the fixings you could want. Service was great. Order at the front register and have a seat. They call out your name and bring you your food in a togo bag. You're welcome to take it with you or sit there and enjoy the flat screenTVs. It looks like they have a great outdoor deck that will be perfect for spring seating. The only thing I would say is that the fries are way too salty. We actually brushed off each fri with our napkin before we ate it. I don't know if we got a strange batch or what but next time I would order it with no salt and I bet they would come out still a bit salty. We drive in from about 2 hours away to eat here every few months, which is usually always worth it! Like many have said, the inconsistency of quality changes with the staff. Sometimes it's awful, sometimes it's ok; our overall experience with this location has been good enough to keep us coming back however. The reason this is a 4/5 instead of a 2.5/5 is simply because of how great the food is. It would be a 5/5 if not for a few very undercooked burger experiences. The service speed, professionalism, and friendliness have never been great. Usually it's 1-2 people working their butts off making food and 1-2 including the manager just standing around not doing much of anything while waiting. That said, it's hard to let that out shadow the greatness that is their food! I've just never seen such an odd staffing model. I think this place would benefit from expanding to OKC.
