    Chicken Avocado sandwich
    John J.

I'm an Aroma fan primarily for their coffees and good amount of breakfast/lunch options. This location is right on Yonge in the heart of midtown. Food (4/5) - pretty consistent across all Aroma and had the individual chicken avocado sandwich and it was as expected. Service (0/5) - this is a larger than average location in a busier than average neighborhood. Seriously understaffed with one cashier, one cook and one other doing bussing and coverage. Took 20 mins to get a single sandwich and I wasn't the only one frustrated waiting. I don't blame the cashier she was busting her ass taking orders, checking for orders and filling coffee orders. However one cook in the back is ridiculous. I blame the owners for understaffing and based on the many other reviews of this location this is not something new. Atmosphere (4/5) - this is one of the nicest aroma locations... outdoor patio with umbrellas and fair amount of tables inside too. Overall (2/5) - I'm not coming back to this location again. Slow service is just ridiculous.

The salad - you can see the yellow leaves already.

Ordered a kale portobello salad from UberEats, and was sorely disappointed by the quality. The greens in my salad were completely wilted and yellow. It was terrible, and half my salad was inedible. The grilled salmon, mushrooms, and red peppers were okay, but the salad was utterly unacceptable.

    Aroma Breakfast

Fuckin terrible food can't believe this place is still in business there must be a lot of brain dead hipsters around buying from them, Soup came in stale, breakfast was cold, and food was over an hour late you'd think these buffoons would atleast keep it somewhere warm until pick up

I went to this store today and bought hot hazelnut latte, iced latte (without sugar) and croissant. They have one of the best croissants in the area. Hazelnut coffee was great as well. They served the order with 2 small chocolates which was a nice addition.

You got to love Aroma. You have to give props for this chain that managed to penetrate the coffee market in a city that seemed to be saturated with big corporate coffee. Their recipe for success is simple: they focus on quality, freshness and nice ambiance. Their coffee is a significant step above the major chains (Second Cup, Starbucks and Coffee Time.) They also offer fresh items like fresh salads and nice sandwiches on freshly baked breads/croissants. Some of my favourite items are: - Turkish coffee - it's super fantastic - Bureka (and also the "Bureka Treat") - Aroma Power Breakfast - really nice and light breakfast - Shakshuka Their space is always inviting and clean.

Over the years I've gained an appreciation for Aroma and the food they serve. It's a much better alternative to Timmy's or Starbucks. I used to regard Aroma as a coffee place, I never really paid attention to their breakfast options or sandwiches. Now, I look forward to grabbing an occasional lunch at one of Aroma's locations. For a chain of cafes, the quality and variety of their food are top-notch IMHO. I'd recommend checking out their avocado sandwich + lentil soup combo. In my subjective opinion, Aroma deserves 4 stars, especially considering that it's a chain as opposed to a one off location.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

The almond croissant, when you're lucky enough to claim one before nine, delivers a genuinely impressive balance of shattering, buttery layers and a filling laced generously with almond cream, more Parisian in spirit than most bakeries attempting the same feat across this city. Even the raspberry version, when available, carries the same confident hand in the kitchen. The coffee program deserves equal praise. A well pulled latte and a properly balanced cappuccino suggest a team that treats espresso with the same seriousness as their pastry case, and it shows in the cup. Where the experience finds room to grow is in the choreography of the space itself. The room is petite, charming in its cobalt blue framed way, but the flow between ordering and pickup can feel cramped during a rush, and seating fills quickly. The patio, however, is a genuine reward, a shaded perch worth claiming on a slow afternoon. This is a cafe operating with real ambition and skill, let down only occasionally by its own popularity. Arrive early, claim a croissant while you still can, and settle onto the patio; you'll leave understanding exactly why regulars keep coming back.

The line moved quick, even though it wrapped around, we waited for about 20 minutes only. The menu has some cool items, a few fusion dishes and trendy items. Awesome presentation and definitely Instagram worthy. I got the huevos rancheros, it was more like an egg burrito with beans, sauce and potatoes on top. The potatoes were probably my favourite out of everything. It was good but not the traditional you would expect. My friends sadly did not like their eggs benedict. The coffee was also average, not very strong or fragrant. Service was absolutely terrible. Our sever took so long to come, we see him just chatting in the corner. It was hard to flag him down for anything. It was not a nice experience. The menu does have some other cool items I do want to try (pancakes and french toast)... so maybe I will give it another shot if I am in the area one day.

Very friendly service (server was Crystal). Sat outside and still was attended to attentively - typically worried that patio seating gets less attention but that wasn't the case here. The menu excited me as brunch usually is a choice between sweet or savoury, but they have various options with both. Got the Indecisive with the eggs poached medium ( would recommend soft for future or sunny side up). The pistachio latte was yummy but with the matcha pancakes it became too sugary of a meal. Overall a casual yet put together vibe. Great for friends, dates, solo, or family. Washrooms not the cleanest, but the dining area was good. Did notice a few more birds than typical patios (tried to eat our scraps as we were waiting for the bill).

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that.
