We love Aroma! The food is amazing, the service impeccable and the pricing certainly reasonable! We love to go there on a regular basis!!

It's been years since my wife and I have tried this place. We recently went twice to eat here and it is much better than what I remembered it last. The service both times was good. The first waitress was attentive and the second waitress was alright. She lost track of us for a moment but, there was another waitress who was able to refill my drink. We got calamari both times and it was delicious. Both times it wasn't greasy and the marinara sauce was good. The first time it we got just the rings and the second time we requested for tentacles also and got them. That's my favorite part is the tentacles. The crunchy texture is great. Wife got one of their Alla Casa with chicken. She loved it the past and the creamy sauce. The chicken was well cooked. One thing she did wish she had was maybe a slice of lemon to add some acidity. I got their pepperoni pizza extra crispy. I've found that is the way to order it if you do not like floppy pizza. Just the right amount of cheese. Could be a little more pepperoni or even the small cup pepperoni would make it nicer. All in all a good place to come for lunch or dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Aroma Italian Restaurant is located in Diamond Head in a well lit strip mall with plenty of parking . We dined here while attending cruising the coast. We were promptly seated upon entering and delivered menus and drinks promptly as well. We ordered a $13 one topping 18" pizza special that is on the menu. We got a cheese and sausage pie that arrived hot, gooey and was very tasty. The crust was crisp; the toppings and cheese were hot and there was just enough sauce underneath. A really good pizza for the price. They also provide garlic knots for free and those are warm, buttery and delicious. The wait staff and manager were friendly and did a great job at service. Last night was my fourth time and to be clear, I very rarely if ever actually take the time to review anything even when hammered with emails asking me too but this place deserves my time. We have been there four times now over the last year since our friends turned us on to this place a year ago. I come from an Italian family background of great cooks and recipes and I have to say this place truly fulfills my cravings for true Italian dishes. The linguine and white clam sauce is to die for! Perfect every time I've ordered it. The calamari has always been cooked to perfection and my wife says she can't get enough of the stuffed mushrooms. We took our daughter, who is visiting from Colorado, for the first time last night and she claimed the ziti plate she ordered was incredibly good. The staff is always very friendly and our service has always been excellent. The only reason we don't eat there more often is because it's a very long drive from our home and they don't have the linguine and clams at the Pass Christian location, (which is much closer to our home), yet, but I was promised last night it was coming. The food at Aroma's is as authentic Italian you can get short of visiting southern Italy in person. We lived in Naples Italy for three years and know fantastic Italian dishes when we eat them. Had lunch here today. The man who greeted us was extremely rude. We asked to sit in a particular location and he gruffly told us that area was for larger parties (we were only 2). That's fine, but his mode of delivery was super hostile. And guess what? No one sat in that area when we were there. I ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was atrocious. Called at 8:42 and they told me that they wouldn't take my order because their kitchen closes at 8:40. If this is the case, they should really post it so people know. My personal opinion is, if you close at 9:00, then your kitchen should close at 9:00, not 8:40. I will not be back. Well, okay then! I do believe we found a diamond! We have seen this place before, it right next to the breakfast (in an hour) place. It is located in a shopping plaza. Entrance is simple. It certainly isn't inviting, since it seems camouflaged next to the tobacco smoke shop. They are closed on Mondays. It was certainly pleasant to see them open on a Sunday. The layout is simple enough, 1 open dining area. Colors are muted in traditional Italian colors. I was abit taken back by the Spanish music playing, then it went into some kind of Indian/Iranian hollaback girl tune. Our server was very friendly and on the ball. She was fast, and on point with drinks and orders. I got the eggplant parm, wife got the chicken parm, my sister got a Caesar salad and spaghettiwith meat sauce. We also got the stuffed mushrooms and calamari appetizers. I must say, all the food tasted very very good and looked very fresh. My sister, one of the most finicky eaters I know, loved her salad and spaghetti dish. the rolls are great! I like the fact that the portions aren't huge. It is a very casual place, so you don't have any pressure to dress up. There are not many Italian restaurants on the gulf coast... So this place is like a diamond in the rough. My husband and I went to eat here for our second time on a Saturday night. We looked up their hours of operation, Before we drove the 20-25 minutes to get there. Website and Map app Showed they close at 9pm. We walked in the door at 8:39pm. There were 3-4 tables with customers still eating. The hostess immediately told us the kitchen was already closed. Why say you are open until 9pm on a Saturday, when you apparently close the kitchen at least 21 minutes before that time? We drove a good ways to eat here, but I won't be doing it again. read more

Went to this nice Italian restaurant today. We were on a road trip so we his was a pit stop so I didn't expect a lot from this. However this was a very good experience. I ordered a cesar salad and it came out in less than 3 minutes. It was one of the most fresh salads I've ever had with sliced cheese and plenty of croutons on it. It also came with a side of ranch and that was very good as well. I then ordered a chicken parm and that was also served very quickly. The order came with a side of spaghetti with meat sauce which was also very freshly prepared. We accidentally dropped a small glass bowl, but they were very quick to respond and also very nice about it. We offered to pay for the broken bowl but they said that it is completely fine and there would be no extra charge. I cannot forget to mention the great prices. I got my food for a total of 16$ including the cesar salad. Overall 5 stars, and a very great restaurant. Would most definitely come back. read more
