Great Nicaraguan food, great service and quick. I'm from Cuban decent, so to be fair I'll just say that I naturally compare this food and the way it was prepared to that of one of my childhood friends family. His grandparents had a get together every weekend with food from Nicaragua. The food at this restaurant is almost as good as their home cooked meals. The menu is not a consistent one. Everyday they change it around. You can order like a cantina aswell ahead of time and pick it up every day. They have great deserts and unique tasting sodas you won't find everywhere else. The eating area here is tiny. You might opt to take the food home to enjoy it better rather than having someone's butt rubbing up against your table as they're picking what they'll buy.

Super yummy when you're craving fritanga! Everything was delicious and fresh. Service was great and I was so happy to kill a craving. Especially that queso frito, so delicious!!!!! Great local spot

Look how thin this carne asada is!

I am so disappointed with this restaurant. I use to love it. But I just ordered from it for the first time in a while and I cannot believe how they've changed. First of all the portions are smaller- especially for a meal that costs $10. Secondly, the cuts of steak (carne asada) are super thin! Nothing like they were before! So thinner meat, smaller portions. I understand restaurants suffered during covid shutdowns and are trying to recover, but do something else. Create specials- move your social media, etc. Now I simply won't buy from here again. It's just not worth it for me and my family.

We called at 9:10 asking at what time they close and said 10 pm. It also says 10 pm on Yelp. We got here at 9:30 and they said they were closed. The guy was waving and he shrugged when I asked if they were closed. Also the guy behind the counter was laughing. Not even a sorry... oh well.

Amazing food at a great price. Best Nicaraguan food in town. Get there early, food sells out quickly.

Quality of food is terrible. The meat was sooo dry and salty. The gallopinto was tasteless. Will not return!

We started with melon and dragonfruit drinks which were like aguas frescas. For starters we tried the Taquitos and Chancho con Yucca and they were excellent. The pork tenderloin chunks in the Chancho were done well and had a tasty coating of spices. We loved the chopped cabbage. We also liked the pulled beef in the Taquitos. The fried beans were creamy and delicious. In fact, everything on our plates was delicious! For mains, we had the Fajitas de Carne and Lengua en Salsa. Both were very good. I haven't had a tamale in a while so I decided to try the Indio Maiz; the sweet corn was good as was the sour cream and soft cheese. Yum. I really enjoyed Maranos. I may have been the only gringo in the place :).

The portions were good in comparison to Los Ranchos and the steak was extremely flavorful and soft. They also have a selection of sauces for the steak or your meal. The service was great. Our only complaint was that they served canned beverages. If you are somebody that drinks a lot of soda, the bill can quickly get expensive. We love Nicaraguan food and frequently dine at other places but this restaurant by far is the best. The wait can be long on the weekends with larger parties so just be aware of that.

This particular trip was special because I took my hubby with my group of college friends and we sat in the restaurant. I had no clue the inside decor was western themed, and it was equal parts random and perfect for the chaos outside in the take out area. Most people seem to go the take out option from the cafeteria window, surrounded by coin operated games and gumball machines. They have a huge menu but the carne asada is the best thing on the menu hands down. Service is quick, but like most dive places in Miami, you're not in it for the chatty waitresses, just the sitting and taking up space over beers for 3 hours with your buds.
