She was very open to what I had to say and she even talked to the owner about it. The good is always good my favorite is their breakfast. They are welcoming and always super nice. It gets busy during breakfast/ brunch but nothing too crazy like waiting more than 10 mins. Their outdoor seating is sooo cute and shaded the inside is cute too it's like being at a home. Theres also a bar there with beer and wine. Clean bathrooms, parking in the back. They are kid friendly too I have 2 crazy ones and they are super nice and patient with them. I highly recommend the breakfast and MIMOSAS!! read more

Excellent food. This is our go to when we want to stay close to home void the traffic on 101 to go north or south. They staff is in the ball with drink refills and checking in whether you need anything. They are friendly and welcoming. Their outdoor seating isngreat with the shade cover and cool breeze that comes through. Music is a resonable volume and type to have conversation. Aromas is such a mellow spot, great for a relaxing, smooth dinner. The food is great portions and everything we have tried (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) has been delicious. read more

Really good variety on the menu. Started with artichoke hearts which were brought out piping hot and delicious. Both ordered salads-the wedge and the buffalo chicken. We came on a rainy sunday and were sat pretty fast, drinks came first, and food came out very! fast. The coffee mug was actually pretty big compared to IHOP/Dennys mugs and they used coffee grounds. Food 8/10 loved fries and potatoes crispy-ness but the chilaquiles had a chipotle sauce focused flavor as opposed to a home made salsa(to each their own, very good still) The sandwich looks small but the chicken is very filling ! Great staff. PS: outside was windy/rainy but "porch" area is well covered and they turned on outdoor heaters for guests who still wanted to sit outside! Will try sitting outside next time. read more

Stopped by for breakfast on an early Monday morning. Service was great, food was awesome. Atmosphere was quiet.

It really pains me to write this review. My relatives have been here before and said the food was excellent so we decided to try it out. Let's start with the appetizers: fried calamari and chicken wings. The calamari? Not so good. The batter was falling off (like they weren't fried enough) and they were chewy. The chicken wings? Great taste but.....umm......where did you get those pygmy chickens? Those had to be the SMALLEST wings I have ever seen!!! I had the fish and chips, only because I had a feeling whatever prawns they had would not be good. It was less than so-so. The french fries were good and smoking hot. The deep-fried snapper was under-cooked. There were pockets of undercooked fish on the inside and not as crispy as it should have been on the outside. My brother in law had the fajita trio. Well, first of all, it came out on a cast iron plate stone cold (aren't fajitas supposed to come out smoking hot on that cast iron platter?). The corn tortillas were the smallest I have ever seen. The chicken and steak looked like they had been cooked yesterday and pre-heated. Oh.........and the trio part, the shrimp? A trio that we actually a duo! There weren't any shrimp in the dish. I will give the restaurant credit for taking off a few bucks for that mistake. It's disappointing........this is a VERY cool venue and would be so much better with good food. But oh well. I certainly won't be coming back to this place and dropping over $100, that's for sure. read more

I will start this by saying most reviews here are love or hate. I'm trying to give a fair balanced review for the only actual restaurant in town. As a former Yelp Elite (foo foo blah blah blah) I feel a duty to do so. ** Call day of to confirm hours of operation! (Just good common sense during a pandemic)** I came on a Wednesday night around 6pm during COVID with patio only seating. Plenty of parking along the main drag and extra in the back. By the time we left, the patio was already half full. Our service was good. There were two servers, they stayed plenty busy but not overly so. I can imagine the possibility for two servers to be overwhelmed had the patio been full or if the servers were less "experienced". This may account of some of the issues others have noted. That said, our experience was without complaint. The menu is indicative of a typical American "grill". Tons of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They do serve limited options of wine and beer. Yay! We drank 4 glasses of pino noir (girls night, no judgement!), ate a house salad w/ grilled chicken, and the aromas burger w/ sweet potatoes fries. My salad was good, crisp mixed greens, fresh cucumbers/cherry tomatoes/ carrots and real grilled chicken (not that weird stuff some places serve). My friend said of the burger, "It's f***ing good". She is NOT shy of sharing her true opinions so take that as you will. Look- bottom line, this is a true locals joint in a teeny tiny town that doesn't get much traffic. For that, I think they should be cut some slack and given a chance to make up for some past "off" nights. But I sure was glad to walk a block down the street to have a solid dinner over glasses of wine. read more

It took me less time to get back down the hill on foot than it did for this place to get my order. Three hours. I'm not kidding my table opened at 12, I had to get the menus myself after twenty minutes of no one greeting my table. I had to get a waiter myself because no one came to take my order. Nobody cleaned our table. Nothing. Bad. Service. And to make it worse. After I was patient and finally caved to ask about my order. One of the servers had the nerve to tell me to be patient after waiting two hours, like service is everything. I was more polite than you deserved. You can have the best food in 100 miles. Wow... just wow. Amazing service super friendly, made the whole experience great. Amazingly attentive staff and then you get to the best part, THE FOOD!! We had calamari and seafood quesadilla to start and they did not disappoint. Calamari was fresh and crispy and the quesadilla was great especially the Guacamole that came with it. My little had a pepperoni pizza that tasted great, my wife opted for the huevos rancheros and she fell in love. I had the Tri-tip entree and just enjoyed every single bite. The mashed potatoes were great and the Tri-tip was not over cooked. Perfectly medium with amazing gravy and mushrooms. Definitely recommend. Plus looks like they are dog friendly in their front patio seating area. Perfect place to have a quick bite or share a few drinks to unwind. Very happy to have came across this place. read more
