I am always excited when we get something other than a burger and fries up here in the Valley! Monday and Tuesday nites are Mexicana authentica and it is so great to come in on a rainy evening, cozy up by the fire and stuff my face with delicious tacos for $7-9 bucks a pop. Mario Ibarra and Pasquale Bianco have done a wonderful job of removing this Ben Lomond spot. Be careful in the parking lot as this property also has a bunch of residences behind it so proceed with caution as you come in.

Very cute little spot to stop by to eat. I must say, so many choices on the menu that you will have to stop by again to try. My order was taken quickly, and the food came out very fast. The grilled cheese sandwich was amazing and had so much flavor. Oh, and it came with a side of fries. If you ever find yourself in Aromas, make sure to stop by this hidden gem.

Really good variety on the menu. Started with artichoke hearts which were brought out piping hot and delicious. Both ordered salads-the wedge and the buffalo chicken. Ample portions and terrific service! We didn't have to wait for anything. Definitely will be back to try breakfast and a burger sometime.

Sal, what's happened? Noticing that the place is not as clean, there's garbage piled up outside the windows (Marshal's) side, cobwebs everywhere, walls seem dirty.

Share this question? Grill was a reliable, consistent, quality 'go to' place....food on last visit on July 27th was unacceptable/unedible! Very sad!

Also I think she'd make a great daughter in law. Probably not PC to say that... - Food was delicious! On a busy night, each dish still earned rave reviews. Standouts were the house salad (SO fresh and perfect combination of ingredients) , the lobster bisque (spot on with just the right level of mild sweetness and savory) and the crab salad sandwich. Oh, and the prime rib. And the fresh pasta. Even the fries were kind of crispy-creative! And don't even get me started on the caramely dessert beignets. In this age where restaurants are still struggling, this one is busy busy busy for a reason. Someone (owners?) did their homework. We now have a favorite family meeting venue! Nicely done, WG.

I wanted something to drink that wasn't sweet, so I tried their raspberry ice tea. They used a sugary syrup to flavor the tea, and that was a strike out. It was sweeter than a soda, so it went back and I swapped it out for a plain unsweetened ice tea. Then we tried the cheesy garlic bread, which we were really looking forward to. Welp, it came out with mozzarella cheese and a ton of corn. No butter. No garlic. We all looked at each other when we tried it. Ok, let's try their brussel sprouts. Those are hard to mess up - but sure enough, they managed to. They deep fried them to the point they were black and charred. There wasn't anything left of the brussel sprout itself, it was mostly crunchy charcoal. At this point, we all ordered something we assumed would be safe for our main. I got the sliders and a side salad. I had the salad but only of the sliders. The cheese on it was queso, like you use to dip chips, so it was ran all over the place and the burger was a grease ball. I won't even get into what everyone else had, but they had similar experiences. Overall, it was pretty disappointing. Maybe there are other things or other times where this place is better, but it was a swing and a miss for us.

We were seated, and soon after we were greeted by Eleanor, our server. She was warm, attentive, and never made us feel pressured, which was a huge improvement from a previous visit. She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol).
