    Cabernet and Quatro

I'm no wine connoisseur by any means, but, let me tell you that was some of the best Cabernet I have ever tasted. I have four of there other varieties I have yet to try. I'm sure they will be delicious. Give them a go, You won't be disappointed. You can even order wines from their website!

    4/29/25 FYI.

Quality/Quantity - Scheduled lunch here and we were the first and only customers, lol. Later two more parties came. Today we got the following: Bucatini Pasta - This was good. A lot of flavors and al dente But not generous portions (as expected). Flatbread - Sorry, I love flatbreads, pizzas, etc. But I can NOT recommend this. It was not bad, just not good. Again, not enough for even one person and this is coming from a light eater. Glass of Kickass Sauvignon Blanc, as we knew we were going to Daou Winery next. Sorry, but I have been hooked on New Zealand's Sauvignon Blanc, but you know that because you are following. So no cases of this for me. Also tried a splash of their signature wine - 2022 Estate Primitovo. I did not buy a case of this either as I was excited about going to Daou. Atmosphere - Women owned and proud. Small, but nice, beautiful location. Indoor or outdoor seating. Another beautiful day. Indoor also has a small private room; see pictures. Plenty of parking, but again we were the first and only customers at 1:15pm, lol. We befriended the couple next to us and shared local winery suggestions. Best suggestion was to go to the Greek themed winery, Sirena Vineyard Resort; see future review. Bistro - Open 6 days a week from 11am to 4pm, closed Mondays. Their tasting room opens 1 hour later. Service - Good. Price - $68 + generous tip. Winery prices, so expect to pay, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1996.

Food is delicious, wine tasting was fabulous and the service was fantastic!! We sat outside and had a gorgeous view. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you're in the area.

The food took us 80mins to wait for our food. Very poor costumer service. No one updated us and pretended that everyone was so busy.

    Football on on Sundays?

I don't believe so. I don't recall even seeing a TV on my last couple of visits.

Are they kid and dog friendly?

Hello! Yes, we are. We have a patio and lawn area that are great for kids. We love our furry friends and ask that they remain on leashes at all times. Cheers!

And being totally inside with no views of anything was kind of a drag. But still 5 Stars due to the wines and the atmosphere of the inside. Deena was great and sat down and explained every wine in great detail. She even let me try the Reserve Cab which was excellent. One of the whites wasn't good at all and I had to ask for a new glass so I wouldn't taint the next sample. But you're probably not going to like them all. That's the fun part! I enjoyed learning about the Austin Hope winery and its origins. I felt like they grew in popularity quickly and threw up some barns to accommodate the crowds. For example, the bathroom wasn't well constructed as when people slammed the door shut, the walls shook. I can't imagine how the walls would shake if someone had a blowout here. Even with some of the downfalls, this was my favorite winery and I wish I could get some of the wines without joining the club. The commitment is too much and shipping is also high, so it's not worth it. The GSM was my favorite and if I ever see it somewhere, Ima get me some!

Exterior seating seems very private with large shrubs acting as walls. THE BLACK AND WHITE: We came here on our last stop before heading back to our airbnb. We had a reservation and were seated in the intermediary room that had a very dark ambiance and high ceilings. A wine tasting here offered 5 tastings. The service was very nice and said if we wanted to taste anything else then they'd be happy to let us sample. Now that's how you close a potential sale. I always see the Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon in stores and was curious about how good their reserve is. spoiler, it is very good. THE FINAL BAMBOO: A wine tasting here is around $25 and the bottles range from $50+. I love Austin Hope's wine. Definitely a must visit and I will be back next time I'm in Paso.

The sausage was good too, came with potatoes. The flatbread was flatbread, needed some pepperoni or something but wasn't bad. My husband liked the wine tasting at Barton.
