The theme of this place is very nice however the service is absolutely disgusting.. we came to watch the fight, we were seated and sat there for 30 minutes before a different waitress picked up our table because she saw we were just sitting there and she felt bad. She apologized and took our order(appetizers) however it's been another 30 minutes and we are still sitting here without food.. the manager of this place is just walking around without a care in the world, has no idea what's going on... she should be fired immediately.. this place is a joke, it's not even crowded and we are sitting here for a half hour without anyone even walking up to our table? This place deserves no stars!!!!! I went to go meet up with a couple of my friends for drinks. When I ordered my cocktails at the bar they were perfect, delicious with the right amount of alcohol. Finally after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for a table (when we visibly saw tables empty) we finally were seated. When ordering our cocktails through the waiter we would get our juice and they tasted like sugared juice. Little to no alcohol in our drinks that were way over price. When the manager who we've been asking for finally showed up two hours later she did not introduce herself and said "what would you want me to do about it?", "what's the problem" and "You're wrong there's alcohol in that." I received her name through the waiter who was very understanding. She was the restaurants manager named Lauren. ZERO STARS!!!!! I have never experienced such poor service EVER! Decided to meet a buddy here for the World Cup Final.....which MGT was not ready for. Only 2 bartenders on duty for about 60 people at 11am....including tables. The bartender on the other side of the bar was efficient and did well to keep up with her patrons. Our guy was obviously new to this and could hardly keep up! Very slow! I literally sat there for the first half (approximately 60 minutes) without a drink! To say this guy was in the weeds is a gross understatement! Manager no where to be found. So at halftime we decided to leave and catch the second half at Bar Louie. I literally sat down and had a beer in my hand within 30 seconds. Food was good and the beer was cold! Disappointing because Aroogas has a great setup. As a vegan, I was excited to go to a bar where I could get plant based wings. I first asked about the sauces and if they contained dairy, and I didn't get a clear answer from my waiter. When I asked if he could check with the kitchen he told me that the regular sauces shouldn't have milk in them, only the creamy ones. I ordered the wings and he said he would put a "flag" on the order to note I didn't eat dairy. I then second guessed my choice and asked another server if the wings were vegan and she told me, "no, there's egg and milk in the batter." I cancelled my order and explained my frustrations to the manager who was understanding, but didn't offer any solution. Im not sure if their definition of plant based is the same as mine, because milk and egg do not come from plants and are not vegan friendly. My wife enjoys vegan food because she is highly allergic to dairy, and could have gone in to anaphylaxis if she had tried a wing. I would be fine if they were advertised as vegetarian wings, but calling them plant based and not mentioning egg or dairy is false advertising and could get someoen sick or potentially killed. read more

My husband and myself came to have a drink at the bar. We sat at the bar where the bartender was wiping down. She then walked away and never came back to us after we waited and watched 4 people walk pass us finally one came who recognized me from being there before. She took our order and brought the drink back. The first bartender then came back to us abruptly and said "I need a credit card to start a tab" No hello nothing. I understand that maybe the policy how she said it to us was very uncomfortable. A couple gentlemen then came to sit right next to us she then greeted them asked them what they would like? She walked to prepare their drinks then she said " Do you want to put a credit card to start a tab or do you just want to pay cash at the end". I've been there when the service was great and that was because I knew the bartender and she was great. I live close by but I will drive farther to get better service I will not be back and I will not recommend it. read more

This Arooga's just opened at this location and we got to sit pretty quick. The place is very nice and the staff is very friendly. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. We ordered the pierogis and they were pretty tasty. For our meals we got the smash bacon, cheesesteak, and the half wing half rib combo. My friend enjoyed her cheesesteak and tater tots. Everyone else wasn't quite pleased with their meals. I thought this place was known for wings and ribs so we ordered the half wings and half ribs combo. Boneless wings to me taste the same everywhere so that really wasn't the issue BUT the ribs were so hard it was a hockey puck and they were so tiny it was more bone than anything ...You honestly couldn't even taste the meat or taste it so none of us even ate it. The burgers were salty and way over cooked it was very dry and not pleasant to bite into. The fries were the only good thing about my meal. Oh and apparently they charge for a side of ranch on your wing order ??? Overall nice atmosphere and staff but the food execution is definitely not there. Was able to check in on line as the week before was a 2 hour wait. It's new I get it. So as we walked in it's was busy not as bad but busy. Great feel. We got lucky as 2 people were leaving so we scooped the bar seats and I secretly gave away my dinning room check in to a nice couple. The food is average bar food just a little different. Nothing to rave about. The drink menu had some nice selections. My only beef is that they didn't have many stouts or porters. If your a beer guy, Guinness is not great compared to what's out there. First and foremost, we are reviewing this based on our personal experience. We decided to give this place a try after hitting the furniture store. We are on vacation and it is a weekday(Wed) at 2:30. Nobody was here, maybe 10 couples, and we were seated right away. Everyone and everything is new still, they have been open for a little over a month, so some kinks and bumps are expected. Our time here however was absolutely amazing. Waitstaff was excellent, food was excellent and if I could give 6 stars I would. Our food was absolutely delicious. Food is garbage. I wish I could put into words how awful it was. In the development of this business the owner took the initiative to focus on branding & visual aesthetics of the brand/ venue etc and forgot to realize that he has to taste his food and put in some $ into the food quality. He overspent on all the TV's, rent, renovation, etc and didn't leave enough $ to spend in the chefs, quality of the food, etc. Although certain menu items may sound good & look good on paper, try the food first before you serve it / don't cut corners in the food cost. We couldn't find any banana peppers in the breading. The wings were very small, despite their inflated price. The dry rub was salty and the wings were soggy, not crisp. The winners in wet sauce were drowning in sauce. The fries aren't crispy and the burger didn't seem fresh. It was also a small burger at that price tag. Bartenders were way better too with checking to see if we needed anything and not just texting. The only comment I have is the final bill should be itemized. Got the bill and saw that tiny sandwich was $12 and the fries were $2 extra. So $14 for a small sandwich with fries...wow! So now the service....we sat at the bar around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. The only ones at the bar. Bartender was miserable!!! Barely spoke and when she did it seemed as if she had drank way too much the night before and couldn't function. She was working with another girl who seemed to be nice but she didn't serve us at all.
