A friend used this provider for her grandmother. They were very happy with the quality of service and the caring nature of the caregivers.

It took a broken hip and multiple other medical issues for her to finally give in . . She lived with us for a few months while recuperating before we all decided that she needed her independence back. Mona was very helpful in narrowing down assisted living choices that met her needs. The number of possibilities were overwhelming.Location, climate ,food quality and affordability were very important to my mom. I waited 6 months before submitting this review to see how the fit actually was. After a short adjustment period , my mother is currently thriving at Atria in Walnut Creek and has made some wonderful friends. Thank you Mona for listening to our needs and finding the perfect match.

Our timeline was incredibly short (~2 weeks), but Mona reassured us that it was possible and to leave the hard work with her. During our intake call, Mona took the time to really learn about my mom and her needs in order to find a long lasting fit. Within a week she had narrowed locations options for us and we were able to tour both locations the same day, which was massively helpful given busy work schedules. Mona also pre negotiated with the community managers before we even toured the communities, so when we decided to move forward with one, we already had a good idea of cost which was one of our main concerns with this type of move. My mom is very happy with her new home. We have Mona to thank for that!

Eventually my mother's application was approved, but 4 months later we received a penalty notice which stopped the Medicaid payments for 6 1/2 months. When I first sent the notice to the worker she thought it was just a routine form letter until the nursing home confirmed that it was not. After paying all of the money to the company I no longer have confidence that they are Medicaid experts and have needed to spend more money to hire an Elder Care Certified Attorney to file the appeal. It seems that it would be much better to hire Certified Elder Care Law Firms in your state rather than a nationwide organization that has paraprofessionals handling such important matter.

The firm's office was easy to deal with and responded quickly to my needs. The aides they sent were attentive and capable. I want to note two Eldercare employees who provided the bulk of my support: Blaise Yves and Shakeera Duncan. They were excellent. Always available without being intrusive, their effectiveness were a big part of my pot-op rehab. Highly recommended.

My mother had been living at Casa Sandoval in Hayward. (You can see my Yelp review from that time to find out why I needed to move my mother. I hope things have improved since then) The terrible management at CS had completely destroyed my trust in any facility but I had no choice but to start looking around on my own. I visited a place in Union City which was way out of my budget but the staff in marketing actually seemed like decent, caring people. They recommended I call Sandra Wallace, and I did. Sandra came to meet my mother and I at Casa Sandoval. I was immediately impressed by her experience, professionalism, knowledge of the state laws regulating care facilities and especially her knowledge of the various facilities and costs in the area. After looking at several places she recommended I check out, I moved my mother to Rosegate in San Leandro. She lived there for almost five years until she died at age 93, very well taken care of. I was very happy. I had some problems in the first six months at RG but Sandra helped me get them resolved. Her knowledge and understanding of memory and cognitive impairment is amazing. In addition to managing facilities she also has hands on experience taking care of her own mother and understands the every day challenges of caregiving. In 2019 we started looking for a place for my aunt, who also has Dementia. I called Sandra and she helped us find a place we liked in Castro Valley. But then the Pandemic arrived and changed everything. My aunt came to live with us instead, which was a very challenging time. In September when I was at my wit's end I called Sandra again and asked for help. She recommended Quail Garden in Livermore, which is lovely AND they were allowing outside family visits which was critically important to us. My aunt has lived there since October and it's been great. I cannot recommend Sandra more highly. She is a powerhouse of knowledge and support. She is a person of integrity and stands by her clients. She checks in from time to time to see how things are going and goes the extra mile to solve any problems that may be going on.
