On the first day, the caregiver arrived a half an hour late with no explanation and did not call to let us know. The second day no one showed up and no one called to let us know. When WE CALLED the second day to find out the status, at that point we were told no one would be coming and there was no substitute available. No apologies, nothing. We are dealing with a lot of emotions knowing we will lose a beloved member of our family and should not have to go through more issues - especially when they do not inform us. Now we will monitor our credit card to make sure we are not improperly billed for services not rendered and wonder if this company has drone this in the past. Not a good way to start off and wish zero stars were an option. As far as the first night with help. We were told certain assistance would be given but the person that came in said they wouldn't be doing a number of things. So basically, they didn't help that much at all and used the house to take a nap on the recliner. Horrible communication from front office with information of care provided vs reality of not much care at all. I would stay far away from this company.

Every single caregiver was on time, friendly, and helpful in every possible way. We felt safe, cared for and supported in healing. I relocated to another state which took me away along with a new career. I did not know the owner Lupe until I began working for New Way. But, my hat is off to her for providing an organization that provides a solid foundation for families in need of care for their loved ones when they are not able to provide the care themselves. It is a home away from home for the residents that live there. The standards and regulation are set by the State of California. And New Way Services has lived up to that standard. What they are expecting from a nurse for little pay and no benefits is ridiculous. I went in there and it is small, clean, and very friendly patients. But when i heard that the ladies that are currently there are not CNA, just ladies who want to get paid for cleaning patients I started having doubts. The "interview" was a joke, didn't ask me if i was even able to perform half the stuff, and they were going to train me for only 4 days. The interview also took place on a patients bed by the way. Although times are tough, and everyone is looking for jobs. I rather skip this, and keeping looking. Its really not worth it.
