(I have been to other clinics in California as well for comparison; some good some not.) Areas of treatment include: knee/ACL micro tears, shoulder pain/weakness, plantar fasciitis (severe arch pain in the foot), back and neck pain, wrist pain associated with carpel tunnel... there may be a few other things along the road and you can bet I will return there. Debbie McConnell and the other therapist (it has changed over the years for whom I have seen) are always kind and willing to work me in as best they can. Most recently Kate has done dry needling to my upper trap and it has helped my stiff and painful neck. Also, Debbie gently readjusts the rotation along my spine (upper, middle, and lower). Martha and Debbie also have done Astym to my neck, arm, and wrist (not many people are trained to use these tools, but I love how it has helped my carpel tunnel and neck). I am always amazed at how much better I feel when I walk out the door. Also, Debbie is one of the few certified hand therapists in the state. She is also certified in manual lymph drainage. They are a small clinic. It is like Cheers, "where everybody knows your name."

I had a $27 credit on my account unbeknown to me and conveniently that is what I was charged to wipe out the credit I had. This is theft. I only found out AFTER I asked for a full ledger for my records. I told them I would be filing a complaint with the Oklahoma Dental Board (which I did) and they (the office) sent me back some rule saying that they could charge $15 or $20....no transparency here!!! Keep an eye out on your ledger if you ever go here because you might be charged for things that are not disclosed. I will be in touch with Oklahoma Dental Board because the fight is not over. What happened to surprise billing? I guess that is only for medical patients. If so, the rules need to be changed. Seems like the place can also not keep staff. I think they have had major turnover as there have been 3 different front desk people over the past year. Again, BEWARE of this place!

One of my teeth had to be pulled & I couldn't even sleep the night before my visit. Just because of previous experiences with other dentist. But the Dr did so good! From the beginning of the tooth getting pulled till the end it was probably one the easiest times at a dentist office. I was told very clearly the after care & what is required to heal properly. I haven't had any pain at all what so ever! I have future appointments already in the works. The prices I paid I must say have been higher then previous dentist I have been to & plus I drive from the panhandle to see her. But other then that I am glad I picked this place. I had developed a fear with dentist but the staff & the Dr have helped me big time with that.

Its unfortunate that I have to write this review but I think our experience needs to be shared so…read moreothers can take it into consideration when considering a switch to this office. We were referred to NPD by a couple of good mutual friends so I was hopeful that this would be a good fit for our family. Dr. Ward was great with our children and when my son needed treatment we trusted her with his care. The kids made comments about not being fond of the hygienist, apparently she was rough, and undermined things we told them. For example one thing was she told them their dad doesn't need to help them brush, when that's not her place to tell us we can't brush our kids' teeth during the evening to make sure they get a good cleaning at least once a day. Despite that we continued taking our kids to their office. It wasn't until the hygienist recommended that both of my kids come in every 3 months because of gingivitis that we went to another dentist for a second opinion because at first it was just my daughter that needed to be seen every 3 months and then it was my son. The other dentist said she didn't see why the hygienist recommended every 3 months because their gums weren't that bad compared to most kids their age, and that recommendation would have never crossed her mind. When we went back to NPD at the normal 6 month appointment they seemed put off that we went somewhere else for an opinion and an in between cleaning. Any time someone in the medical industry doesn't appreciate a parent being involved in the care of their child and has an issue with them getting a second opinion that should be a HUGE red flag. We explained to them that the kids were seen in between at another dentist, who took our kids' health insurance, just for a cleaning only to break that plaque cycle, but we planned on having them seen with Dr. Ward for the regular 6m appointment (with our main dental insurance) and she would still do all treatments, x rays etc. We were surprised when we were told that wasn't an option because we weren't "following their recommended care plan". We made it clear that we WERE following their "recommended" care plan with the kids having that in between cleaning, we just weren't willing to pay out of pocket for the extra $300 every 6m for the in between cleaning for the two kids' cleanings when we could get it covered somewhere else. A cleaning is a cleaning, and if they really just wanted the plaque cycle broken every 3 months then we were following that recommendation. A recommendation should be just that, a recommendation. The way they treated this situation was more of a requirement than a recommendation. They may want to use the word require next time when making a requirement, and not call it a recommendation when it's not. My husband said it sounded like a money grab at this point because we WERE taking their recommendation but since it wasn't with them they weren't willing to work with us. I first thought if we would have had a different hygienist maybe things would have worked out. Then again it sounds like the office in general wasn't willing to work with us. As much as I'm trying to give Dr. Ward the benefit of the doubt, she runs the show and we ended up where we did. My husband and I are both educators and very involved in our community and have recommended many people to this office. However, we won't be recommending anyone here in the future.

Love it! I have a…read moretimid child who needs to be eased into situations. He had his first appointment here at 3 and it went amazing. Each staff member was warm and inviting. They have really thought out how to take care of child patients. I did not once feel uneasy about him here and that's from an anxious mom. The office is soo fun and happy. The atmosphere is spot on. Sorry to ramble I'm just impressed with the above and beyond attitude of this office. If your looking for pediatric dentist I would say make the appointment here.
