This was one of the best Thai restaurants we've been to! It's a small family run business and their service is top notch! However, the prices were a bit on the higher end and the portions were smaller than what we are used to with Thai food but it was worth it. It was our first time trying Tom yum and Tom kha soups. Both were delicious but the Tom yum was soo good. The panang chicken curry was also really delicious. The spice was spot on and there was a lot of chicken which was appreciated. Overall, great experience and we will definitely go again if we are ever in the area! read more

I wanted to share a review because I was genuinely surprised to see Siam Thai Bistro so quiet on a Friday night! The original owners are back, and every meal I've had recently has been absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the food has been consistently 5-star quality. I had the Pad Thai with chicken, which I ordered with extra vegetables, and it was fresh, flavorful, and made exactly as requested. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners and learned that for a period of time they were working at another location while someone else managed the Bradenton restaurant. Unfortunately, many customers had experiences that didn't reflect the quality and service the original owners are known for. Now that they're back, they are working hard to rebuild and remind people just how good this restaurant can be. If you enjoy Thai food--or if you've never tried it before--please consider giving them a visit. This place has absolutely fantastic Thai food! I've probably eaten Thai food and at least 30 different restaurants across the country, and this is among the very best. Tonight we went out and had five or six different things among us and everything was absolutely outstanding. It's a small cozy place with excellent service and I recommended highly it! read more

Stopped in for lunch as a first time visiting. Unfortunately they are over 1/2 hour away from our home, but if you're out at the beach or Robinson Preserve, this is a stop you should definitely make! The store is small but decorated well - gives a cozy feeling- and the service was exceptional! The menu is extensive- so it's hard not to order WAYYY more than one can eat - and we wound up ordering takeout for dinner after this delicious lunch! The lunch , if you dine in, includes a small soup and vegetable egg roll. Both were excellent. We started with lettuce wraps - crispy noodles, shredded chicken and fresh crisp lettuce. Delicious! My lunch ginger stir fry was full of fresh crisp veggies, aromatic ginger and fresh pork slices. The egg fried rice was flavorful and delicate. Incredibly good. Ate at the place once and it was good enough to go back a second time. However this time, both of us were violently sick within 30 minutes of eating there. I knew something was up so I checked only to find out the place has been shut down 2 times by the inspectors for live roaches. Nice lady, but you need to keep the bugs out. Bring shut down 1 time for infestation is bad, but learn from it...twice?? shouldn't be allowed a third. I think it's time the state requires the health scores of each restaurant posted on the front door. read more

The food was delicious, my family are from Louisiana and this food was amazing. I brought my son with me and the owner is so sweet, appetizers came in less than 2 minutes and our Thai fried rice came about 5 minutes after. The ambience was amazing and it was a great experience! read more

Yes absolute yes from me. This thai restaurant might have become my top spot but of course there could be some recency bias.... Either way!!! This curry is exceptional. Spice wise this Thai spot does it right because Thai food is typically very watered down into terms of heat and aroma but not here. No no these people are closed to the real Thai experience so to my fellow heat lovers you have been warned. Food is made fresh to order and the curries are all unique in their own way. The spices are different in each one and the coconut milk just brings it all together. The service was fantastic as well , this was a very pleasant experience all around. Thai Bistro was our first stop on vacation and wow were we surprised! Not only was the food amazing, the customer service and hospitality were incredible! We told the owner that we had never been here before and she explained her favorite recipes with enthusiasm and incredible detail. The owner is passionate about making the food / each plate/ delicious and fresh. Impressive hearing about where she finds the very best ingredients and we loved hearing about the legacy of some of these recipes. This restaurant was highly recommended by my aunt and uncle, so we went for dinner one night. Holy cow! I highly recommend the chicken cashew nut pad Thai! We had some edamame as an appetizer as well as a few pork egg rolls. We devoured them! Our group also enjoyed shrimp pad see ew and the yellow curry with tofu. My wife and I have been in the hospitality industry for years and are quick to judge servers...the service was fantastic, too. We will definitely be back next time we visit! read more

The food is actually good at Siam Thai Bistro. My issue is with the pricing, especially as compared to the prices on this (Yelp's) site. I ordered dinner for myself using the menu and prices on this site and the total should have been $21.60, a reasonable amount. However, when I picked up the food at the restaurant, they charged $34.80 for it. When I questioned the amount, they claimed the prices shown on Yelp were those charged by the previous owner of the restaurant. At best this is a situation that must be rectified and at worst is a great, but questionable, way to entice potential customers. Anyone seeking to order anything from this restaurant should clearly ask and understand the real prices before ordering. read more

Good vegetarian offers. The food is very tasty and the portions are amazing. Unless you are extremely hungry, you'll have leftovers. I suggest you eat with chopsticks, ask for them if you need to, it makes you slow down your eating and allows your stomach to alert you that it's full. The Fried Rice with steamed tofu is out of this world, as are all the curries (I'm a curry fiend, though). Best when you eat in, because the food is hotter when it arrives at your table, but it's just as delicious when you carry out or have it delivered... Or eat it the next day! Hubby loves the Chicken Pad Thai. It took me forever to get him to try anything else. It's still his go to dish. *They are good at substituting soy sauce for fish sauce in any dish at your request. Pretty disappointing. The fried rice was made with broken rice and was more like rice pilaf, the pad wood sen was super dry and bland, and the larb salad was salty and lacking any lime or cilantro flavor. The pickup person was super nice but that's really the only good thing I can say. read more

We just had a family dinner and the Owners were so gracious and kind. Mrs. May explained the menu and was very accommodating. We ordered a variant of foods from the menu and everything was made to oder, fairly fast and delicious. The spices on the side were a great touch. We love this restaurant. its authentic , fresh, and made with fresh ingredients. I always seem to get the pad thai with pork and my wife gets the green curry with tofu. Both are excellent. Try the larb also if you get a chance. It's fresh tasting and very refreshing on a hot day. You can make lettuce wraps if you have a head of iceberg at the House. Soooo good! Previously tried other Thai restaurants but this has to be the best in Bradenton. Everything was made to order and fresh! The flavors were exploding and exceeded my expectations. We had the lunch special which included jasmine or fried rice and we opted for the Tom yum soup instead of the egg drop soup, but was also included. We added on the fresh rolls w shrimp.
