Thai restaurants always seem to have a distinctive look, be it wood and wood carvings or in this instance, an elegant look with the glitter of gold. To me it really sets the mood. We stopped in for dinner last night. The menu is impressive with photos of many of the dishes. The lighting is subdued, which made it a little difficult for my old eyes to read, but I managed to come up with what I wanted to try, Tom Yum soup, and their version of Pad Ba Mee with egg noodles. My soup arrived first and it was very temperature hot, making it difficult to eat. I think the container was designed to help keep it hot. Did I enjoy the soup? It was too much of an effort to keep from burning my tongue. I should have just tossed in an ice cube. My Pad Ba Mee arrived as I was working on the soup and it was very good. This popular dish had a good flavor and was easy to eat. I did expect there would be some brown sauce but later in checking the menu online saw it was sauteed in brown sauce. I missed the sauteed part in trying to read the menu while at the restaurant. The flavor was there, just not the liquid. Others with me were ok with their meals and we all brought home leftovers. read more

I have been here several times now In the past and decided to revisit. Excellent service as always and immediately seated. I was by myself and sometimes service can be lacking when there's a table for 1, but not here. The decor of the restaurant is perfect and gives a warm cozy feel and it's actually bigger then it appears due to a room divider, booths and authentic warm Thai decor. The Wonton Soup $4.95 is excellent! Best ever! I tried something different; Three Buddies entree with medium spice, a dish with vegetables, scallops, shrimp and chicken served with a side plate of jasmine rice shaped in a heart. All excellent. The dish is a bit pricey $24.95, but it does have scallops, which can be expensive and there was enough leftovers for a full meal the next day. A very cold glass of Chardonnay Chateau Ste. Michelle at a very reasonable $7.95 per glass complimented the dish. I will be back again! read more

This review is for a take out experience. I had a hankering for Thai and found Thai Palace on Yelp. I called and placed an order for pick up. The location is easy to find in a strip mall with ample parking. Inside it's a lovely space with elegant decor. It seems like a perfect date spot. The staff was very friendly when I picked up and paid for my order. It's not a given these days that you are thanked as a patron and made to feel your business is appreciated but Thai Palace left me with a wonderful impression ensuring I will return. Oh! And, I can't forget to rave about the food, the incredible food! I ordered my control dishes: chicken satay and pad thai. Both were phenomenal! The chicken satay was so tender and juicy and flavorful. My sister stole half of my pad thai and agreed it was *chef's kiss*. We had a wonderful experience at Thai Palace in Bradenton, Florida! My Thai wife was impressed with the authentic flavors, which says a lot. She ordered the beef salad and loved the tender meat and rich Thai taste. Our son enjoyed his Thai noodle soup and couldn't stop eating it! Great Thai food! Perhaps the best in the area. We tried a few different dishes. All were very good. Vegetables were fresh, sauces and tastes spot on. The prices are reasonable, but more comparable to Seattle pricing than I expected. (For those not familiar with the Seattle area, Seattle pricing is not a good thing.) Also, portions are reasonable, but not particularly large. We often split a single dish at most Thai restaurants. We got two dishes and ate nearly all of it - (1) we were very hungry, (2) the food was very good, and (3) portions were not large. (Not small, but not large. Any more of this and I'll start sounding like Goldilocks...) After a few weeks in Florida, my conclusion was that restaurants there can be divided into two very different camps - those with West Coast-like pricing and those with old Florida pricing. Maybe someone from Florida can explain why there is such a difference. Typically, you can guess ahead of time by looking at the decor and location; but not always. Prices don't always reflect the food quality, though (which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending). But, I digress... Service was excellent. Our server was a very genial and attentive young man, who we greatly enjoyed chatting with a bit. Great job!! The atmosphere is nice. The decor is nice and the restaurant is very clean. Beautiful food. I add the Penang curry. I had the Panera and it was fabulous and I had garlic dock and it was fabulous and even the soup included with one of my notes was fabulous. And the water is good because it taste go through and serve in a glass, and that Thai tea was fabulous. The surface was fabulous. The decoration is fabulous. My Server is very attentive and loving. They close at 2;30 in the afternoon. My husband and I went there at 2:15 and although it wasn't busy at all they would not sit us. If they want to close at 2:15 they should say 2:15, not 2:30. This is a terrible way to treat potential customers! We will never return to this restaurant! read more

My family and I got take out from here a few weeks ago. I ordered directly on their website and it was easy. The food was ready when we came to pick it up. We got pad thai, pineapple curry, larb gai, pad prig, jasmine rice and Thai iced tea. The Thai iced tea was sweet and refreshing. The pad Thai was tasty. The larb gai was flavorful. The pad prig which we got at hot level was medium to my standards. It was still very good. The curry was delicious. This is the best thai place in town. Legit Thai food and super fresh ingredients. The restaurant decoration is very typical but its dishes set it apart from the rest. The menu is quite big and has lots of options for everyone. We had crab Rangoon, Tom kha soup, fresh rolls, shrimp fried rice, chicken panang and the best Duck I've ever tasted.... Volcano Duck! First time having Thai here in Bradenton and have definitely found my favorite spot. Ambiance is very good, cozy and neat area. Food is very good, amazing selection and awesome quality/attention to detail. They do also have vegetarian dishes for those who don't eat meat and there fried tofu is VERY good. The duck is a must order as well! As for deserts they do only have 3 but all 3 appear to be amazing. Ordered the coconut ice cream and it was absolutely delicious. I feel like this place was a hidden gem.( I guess it is not so hidden because it has 200 reviews but it was hidden to me haha) We came here for lunch one day and were blown away. We actually came back as our annual Christmas family dinner the following week Because we love the food so much. My absolute favorite was the pangang Curry. Our soups were excellent but our entrées were not. My date ordered a dish that included fried rice., but the rice look like it was swimming in water, and it never saw a frypan.
