I love Thai food ! The Thai here is so fresh and delicious! Grandma wan is wonderful woman! For being in the middle of town the seating area is surprisingly peaceful and nice. Will definitely be back!

Grandma Wan's is by far the best thai food not just in bradenton but potentially the entire tampa bay; her seasoning is immaculate and the addition of the chili powder and chili oil to customize each dish really adds to how home cooked the meal truly feels. Grandma Wan herself is also the best chef / server ever she always makes conversation that is a joy to be a part and even sat down with my partner in crime to ask about our day. The seating area is also beautifully decorated with trinkets and flowers just like any grandma's backyard that grandma wan even allows you to pour your tropical smoothies into. If you like thai food or have never tried it and want to give it a try, i recommend Grandma Wan's tenfold!

Me and Grandma Wan! She is soooo nice! Bless you MaMa Wan!

If there's one place where love and respect are served in every bite, it's Grandma Wan's kitchen. Stepping through her door is like being wrapped in the warmest embrace, and it's not just her gentle smile that makes you feel welcome--it's the food. Oh, the food. Grandma Wan doesn't just cook; she creates masterpieces that tell stories. Every dish she serves carries years of tradition, countless memories, and the wisdom of a lifetime spent nurturing family and friends. The way she blends flavors, the way she knows exactly what to add or take away to make each meal perfect, is nothing short of magical. But it's not just the taste that keeps you coming back. It's the love and care she pours into every single meal. When Grandma Wan cooks, it's clear that food is more than just sustenance to her. It's a love language, a way of honoring those around her, and a way of spreading joy. She takes time to ask about your day, to listen with genuine interest, and to offer a comforting word along with every plate she serves. Sitting at her table is like being part of something sacred, something that transcends just a meal. Every spoonful, every bite of rice, every morsel of her carefully prepared dishes is a moment of pure joy. You don't just eat when you're at Grandma Wan's--you *feel* the love in every bite. Her food is the kind that makes you want to call up your loved ones and tell them about how wonderful it was. It fills you with a warmth that lingers long after you've left her table. To Grandma Wan, cooking is an art, a ritual, and a way to show the deepest respect for those she cares about. In a world that can sometimes feel rushed and disconnected, her kitchen is a sanctuary--a place where time slows down, where the world feels kinder, and where joy is found in the simplest of ingredients. I can't recommend her enough. If you ever have the privilege of tasting her food, you'll know that you've been touched by something truly special. Thank you, Grandma Wan, for sharing your heart, your hospitality, and your unforgettable cooking with all of us. You are a treasure, and your food is nothing short of a blessing.

I have tried hundreds of Thai eateries of all shapes and sizes, and this was the best Pad Thai I have ever had! Grandma told us all about how she has been cooking for over 40 years having ran multiple restaurants, and how her mother taught her everything she knows about cooking. And trust me, you can taste it! Very cute little nook with lots of flowers and fresh ingredients growing all around you. I would give this more stars if I could!!

Outstanding! Our first business and most certainly not our last! The location is relaxing and surprisingly upscale for your average food truck. Grandma has been in this location for two years and arranged it like a garden at home. The menu consists of a daily special (see pic) and the regular menu. Sure to be something to tempt you. We chatted with her one customer and Grandma before it got busy and learned much about her and the business. She's mighty impressive. Works the whole deal, service and cooking herself. We heard from the customer that the noodle soup was killer so we got an order to go. We ordered spring rolls and two dishes - Thai Basil stir fry (basil from her garden) and the day's special, Thai Sweet Curry Chicken. The table setting includes a dry spice and a pepper sauce made from the plants in her garden next to the truck (lookout, this is got some heat). Everything was delicious - fresh as anything. The Thai Basil was sweet and spicy and a healthy plate at that! The Curry was savory and sweet, so add some of those peppers if you want to crank it up. Fantastic spot, don't miss it!

Finally got to bring the rest of the family to "Grandma's". As usual, everything was great! Grandma gave us a tour of her garden and a sample of the herbs she uses in her food. Her shaded tables are a great way to enjoy dinner outside. Everyone is family at Grandma's!!

Nice to be back at Grandma Wan's for some delicious food.

We were so happy to get to eat Grandma Wan's food again. Everyone is still amazing and can't wait to go to one of her special food truck engagements she is having in two days. She's making a Thai dish my mother in law has told my wife and I about many times but has never made for us this will be an extra treat this vacation year! You really need to try her food.

Grandma Wan is so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She has the cutest backyard patio with plants to enjoy your food with. It's very peaceful eating outdoors here. She turned the fan on so that we didn't get to too, that's how you know she's grandma! Her food is nothing short of O.M.G. Amazing! It's very fresh, well seasoned, flavorful, delicious, and always cooked with love. Everything she makes is like honestly having grandma make it specially just for you. I miss my grandmas.

Grandma's Thai food truck is a stationary truck that thankfully doesn't travel. So, I always know where to find Grandma. Yes, she actually told me to call her Grandma. The more Grandmas the better! You will find me stopping by this truck at least once a week for lunch. It is by my job and very convenient. Credit cards are accepted also. The food here is so delicious with homemade flavors, just like Grandma invited me over for lunch. My favorite items are the daily specials on the back of the menu. On Thursdays she serves "Thai Sweet Curry" which is a stewed and pulled chicken version of Massaman curry with potatoes. The balance of flavors is so perfect, and the accompanying steamed rice is so soft and comforting. I devoured it! I've tried all of the appetizers and my favorite is the crispy fried rice patty--- soft in the middle and super crispy on the outside, seasoned with red curry. If you live or work in the area and are looking for a unique and flavorful lunch option, then I recommend trying this food truck.

We stopped in for dinner last night. The menu is impressive with photos of many of the dishes. The lighting is subdued, which made it a little difficult for my old eyes to read, but I managed to come up with what I wanted to try, Tom Yum soup, and their version of Pad Ba Mee with egg noodles. My soup arrived first and it was very temperature hot, making it difficult to eat. I think the container was designed to help keep it hot. Did I enjoy the soup? It was too much of an effort to keep from burning my tongue. I should have just tossed in an ice cube. My Pad Ba Mee arrived as I was working on the soup and it was very good. This popular dish had a good flavor and was easy to eat. I did expect there would be some brown sauce but later in checking the menu online saw it was sauteed in brown sauce. I missed the sauteed part in trying to read the menu while at the restaurant. The flavor was there, just not the liquid. Others with me were ok with their meals and we all brought home leftovers.

Although it shares a mall type venue, the food, and service were excellent! We started off (as we usually do) with Calamari, when trying a new restaurant, if that is on the menu, we try it. Folks, this appetizer was EXCEPTIONAL. The garnish prepared along with it was very unique and flavorful (wish it was a bit bigger) lol- The food was awesome. I'm not big into Sushi, but the wife calls the shots on where we go most times. The dish I got (recommended upon request from the server) was very "Aroi" and plentiful. We all know these days how hard it is to part with hard earned money these days for mediocre results with service and quality. This restaurant exceeds what we have experienced in a good amount of time. If you like Calamari, try them. It's well worth it! Stan & Robin Swartz- Bradenton, FL
