This one's tricky to review because there about even pros and cons. I went for lunch and ordered 2 meals. Panang curry and drunken noodles. Both tasted really good flavor wise but both had major flaws. The chicken in both meals was extremely dry. I mean extremely and not even the sauce made it better. The noodles in the drunken were small, thin and very broken up. The dish was dry and needed more moisture/sauce. My normal place closes right after lunch to prep for dinner so I tried this because reviews were high. I'm confused by them. The prices were good. Staff friendly and nice. That my dilemma read more

Back again and still 100 stars!!! The staff are so friendly and at this point, have our orders memorized. The food hits the mark every. single. time. The Mexican rolls (with no rho) were fresh as always, stuffed with real shrimp, and great avocado inside. They don't skimp out on the ginger either! I used to order carry out for lunch from here when I worked close by and the food and service have always been great. I still visit for dine in and the service is always friendly and prompt. First, we arrived several minutes prior to the advertised time they opened for dinner....and they wouldn't let us in. Mind you, it was 96 degrees outside! They finally opened the doors precisely at 5pm They seated us along with several other sweating customers and shortly took our drink orders. She returned with the drinks and I ordered a sushi roll another one in our group ordered the sushi app special. Our sushi roll was delivered and was unremarkable, the wasabi was very weak. Our entrees arrived shortly thereafter and while I thought the flavor of my drunken noodle order was flavorful and the noodles tasted fresh, there was minimal vegetables within my dish and the sauce was rather scant. We decided to try this particular Thai restaurant as one in our group found a preferred dish on the online menu. He also was fairly disappointed with its presentation and flavor. This is a hidden gem in Bradenton. The food is fresh, flavorful and moderately priced. They have really great lunch specials that you just can't beat anywhere else, great spot for lunch! My husband and I have dined for dinner (Pad Thai and fried rice with shrimp) and we absolutely love it. Good Thai food is an artwork but you won't find that artwork here. The food is edible but not memorable. I am a spice wimp but tried my husband's "Thai hot" fried rice and it had such a small amount of spice that I could eat it .. That NEVER happens. The service is slow and no one is outwardly friendly or welcoming. The tables are awkwardly spaced and the lighting is strangely dark. Also, jazz seems an odd pairing for a Thai restaurant. I wanted a roll that was cooked since I was chilly and I thought it be the best of both worlds. Roll and warm. It was ok. It was fried and I thought there was too much Mayo on it. Easy does it. My hubby had pad Thai, his usual. One review said it was like heavy on the peanut butter. I kind of felt the same. It wasn't sweeter and the not my fave. It only had small pieces of chicken and nothing else mostly noodles. Our server was very nice and the restaurant is nice as well. The booths are only for huge parties. First time, in for takeout for 6 This is old school...no delivery, no on line orders. Call in and pickup. The restaurant located on SR 64 has plenty of parking in this small strip mall. Upon entering you are greeted and then get to choose- dine in, eat at (empty when I was there) the sushi bar, or give your order name. There are seats lining the left side wall for waiters, and as the restaurant was full up inside reservations (call in) are highly recommended! The process is well organized and food was ready precisely on time with their original projection. As for the food...we had Mom & Dad's rolls (ok, nothing special, small and fried), tuns and avocado roll and salmon sushi (very good), pad Thai with Panang curry sauce (good), crispy duck with basil chili (on the side) sauce (outstanding) two sexy girls (shrimp and chicken) with curry (excellent and super fresh) and Pad Ladnar (noodles) with hot sauce (sorta hot, enough for me at least), steamed dumplings (excellent). We ordered the drunken noodles, another noodle dish, the fried fish and a few appetizers and everything was very very bland. It was worth a try but just not great.. I never made it in before because of the hours but really wanted to try. The service was good I'll start with that and that's important to me. The food is what is subpar, it was all hot but just didn't taste great.. Gyoza reminded me of frozen food that was the worst part. My sushi was alright flavor wise but not as cold or firm as I would like. I like raw sushi and their menu had more cooked options that could be why, and the ingredient were fresh which is important. Great Panang curry! Served with the duck is a must. I always get it Thai hot, which is spicy for most but if you know what true Thai hot is, it's not as spicy as what I'm used to. Thats ok though, the flavors are absolutely delish! We usually also get the spring rolls as an appetizer which are also nice, fresh, and light.
