This is such a gem! Tucked away bayside dining with an authentic thai family feel. Tge food is sooo good. The flavors are perfectly balanced and only as spicy as you request. Nothing is greasy at all--even things like orange chicken that might be heavy at other restaurants is just perfectly cooked and full of flavor! Good potstickers and sauce. My only disappointment is they stopped serving brown rice and their brown rice was excellent so I hope they bring that back! Otherwise, we love it! Four of us dined on Friday, May 16, 2025, in the late afternoon. I requested a small cup of wonton soup but was told they could not offer that; only a large bowl so I passed and ordered the tempura plate. The others in the party ordered different rice/noodle dishes. The food was okay but not as good as I remembered from past dining experiences. At 2:00AM on May 16, 2025, I woke up with stomach cramps, diarrhea and projectile vomiting. I was ill for over 24 hours. No one else in our party became ill. I called the restaurant just to let them know I had become ill in the event someone else during the opening hours of the 15th may have been sick. They would not acknowledge the information I gave them and basically dismissed/ignored me. I will never dine there again. read more

Household was feeling a cold/flu coming on so I drove here to get the Tom Yum. Couldn't resist some Pad se ew either. Got here as they opened (checked Yelp first to see hours of operation) and was first in line...another person was right behind me. Must be a good sign! Anyway, the restaurant is located in a large building and is down the stairs to the right and was a tad confusing until I realized the sign above the stairs was staring right back at me-beckoning me to come in. Ordered the food from a friendly lady and she quickly started working on the order (to go). Got home and we dug into the soup. DELISH! Hit the spot and was right what we weee looking for. Currently, they have three people working in the restaurant. Our order was taken by the chef herself and the hostess was a very kind gentleman. They are currently using paper plates and plastic cup to cut down on dishes. We ordered two dinner plates and chicken show mein for our daughter. The chef offered to substitute two extra parcels instead of the sticky black rice dessert. The plate comes with soup or salad, rice, pad Thai small portion and either. Cashew chicken or red/green or miss aman curry. I had green curry (4 lvl spice) my husband had mussman curry (0). Crab parcels (4): fresh, hot ,crispy more cream cheese than crab but good little starter my daughter are three. Fresh prawn roll(5): made to order, had lettuce, Thai basil, avocado, prawn, thin rice noodle. Peanut sauce warm. Super crispy lettuce, really fresh Thai basil so yummy. Pot stickers(3): fresh, crispy, the filling was juicy but not as flavorful as the other things. Our daughter did like them. Tom yum(5): sour, sweet, savory and spicy. The soup is so light and flavorful. There is button mushrooms, lemon grass, little chili and tender chicken. My daughter ate part of it with me and took the rest of my soup home. Chow mein(?): I didn't try it but looked and smelled yummy. It had chicken, carrots, onion, and broccoli and chow mein noodles. Our daughter said it was really yummy. Pad Thai and rice (3): pad Thai was fresh little on the sweeter side but I added 3 spoonfuls of chili sauce and was yummy. The pad Thai had green onion, egg and peanuts.. Rice looked good but I didn't eat it but it did look perfectly cooked. Green curry lvl 4 spice (5): not as spicy as I like but my husband said it was spicy I think I could go LVL 5 spice here. Green curry had chicken, bell pepper, Thai basil, bamboo shoots, mushrooms in a green curry coconut sauce. Tender so flavorful I had one but took the rest home was even better for breakfast lol. Mussaman curry (3.7): the curry was a little too sweet is what my husband said. It had chicken, potato, pineapple and carrots. I couldn't try as I'm allergic to pineapple he said was good but just way little too sweet. I would definitely go back for the food but it would be nice if they fixed the locks on the bathroom stalls so you can lock them. The food is definitely worth going for I enjoyed it . I love Tom kha so would be really exciting to try their version of it as it's a favorite of mine. Yes they are using paper plates and plastic cups but the food is really good and makes up for the plates and cups when they only have three people working. We were surprised when we walked in so we ran down and a staff member confirmed that there was no other way to get to the restaurant, ended up having to go elsewhere. Food was ready at least 30 minutes later than what I was told on the phone and price was $1/each higher than what's posted on website. The staff was friendly and apologetic though so all would've been forgotten had the food been any good. I was hoping for more, but the only thing this restaurant has going for it is the location at the end of the bay. Whoever owns this building should be ashamed of themselves. I would say they were a slumlord. I don't know why we didn't leave when the building's odor hit our noses. It smells old and musty, my husband thought it smelled of urine (perhaps mice or rats), but I missed that hint thankfully. The water served in plastic cups was definitely filtered and tasted good, unlike some places that serve bleached tap water, but it was odd to see in a sit down restaurant. The lunch specials seem to be a good deal at $10.95, but the food was not served hot, the rice too moist and the (somewhat bland) flavors were not what I've become accustomed to tasting in my old neighborhood. I don't like writing a review like this, but this place needs a lot of help. I wish them luck in making needed improvements and getting the landlord off his laurels. Dang it! I used to love this place! Unfortunately each time something in the food quality is significantly decreased. I ordered the yellow curry. I have ordered this multiple times before. This time all the chicken including my husbands order was very rubbery. The yellow curry was very watered down and bland. No coconut flavor apparent. Oh and once and for all fix the damn warped support post. Management needs to take some pride in their restaurant. Major remodel needed here. Crispy bundles and rice were good. This is my wife's favorite restaurant. They know exactly what she likes and orders. All the dishes are great. I've had most. I usually have 3 or 4 for spicy. Four is barely eatable and I like spice. Lunch is very reasonably priced and has excellent amount. My favorite dish is the volcano. My wife likes the Thai beef salad. This is my second favorite. Finally, a thai place I can eat at without driving to Seattle or Port Angeles. I believe I've been to every thai place in Kitsap and this has been the best (keeping in mind the competition here is mediocre to awful). A 5 out of 5 on the spicy scale is still mild, but it wasn't bland as I've experienced at other thai restaurants. The food was well prepared, used a variety of balanced and fresh ingredients and most importantly cooked AFTER I ordered it!! The menu is very creative and has something for everyone; it has the classic Thai dishes but with many unique permutations that were quite tasty. This place doesn't stand up to my favorite places for Thai; I'd probably only give it 3 stars normally, but in the context of Kitsap it stands out which warrants my 4 star rating. We basically had 3 servers, they just kept coming over to say hi to our son and while they were there they checked to see if we needed anything. So we tried the appetizer sampler; spring rolls, satay, potstickers and prawns served with 3 sauces. All of the appetizers were delish, though my favorite was probably the prawns. For our mains we ordered the crispy duck and veggie pad thai, both with 3 stars of spice. First the spice was perfect, it was hot, but not overwhelming. The pad thai was packed with fresh veggies, still crispy and the sauce was spot one, not too sweet. The crispy duck with the garlic, soy, ginger sauce was amazing. I knew it was extraordinary when I caught my husband eating the leftovers at 6 am the next morning. I'd highly recommend it. We can't wait to make this place one of our regular spots. read more

It absolutely PAINS me to give them only ONE star since this was the very first restaurant my boyfriend and I visited on our very first date three years ago, but JEEZ have times changed. This USED to be our FAVORITE restaurant in Poulsbo, their food was super delicious, prices were fair and their portions were HUGE but man oh man not anymore. First with the crazy random hours, then with the name change, then with the second name change, the screwing around with the menu items, the laziness in "spell-checking" the menu items and the SERVICE, oh my! Things have gone downhill. Not sure if the owners changed hands or they got a new chef but the prices went up, they became super stingy with the portions (we ordered the Chicken Pad Thai 4 stars and seriously only had 4 pieces of chicken throughout the whole dish...), the service is BAD and it always seems like they want you out of the restaurant ASAP. For some reason, their busser always seemed pissed off and would carelessly (and LOUDLY) throw the dishes into the dirty dish bin, startling the hell out of people. Not something you'd want to hear while having dinner and talking with your family. It would be an understatement to say we were very disappointed with the way the restaurant turned out. We would ALWAYS get the cream cheese wontons for an appetizer, Chicken Fried Rice 4 stars and Chicken Pad Thai 4 stars. The portions would be enough to feed my family of 4 and still have some leftovers for lunch the next day! But with all the changes, deteriorating service and smaller portion sizes, we were paying more for a lesser amount of food and super bad service... Lame! I really enjoy my meals when I get food from here. My most recent visit was the first time I had actually eaten in the restaurant; every other time was carry out. I think that they're fairly well-priced. A bit expensive if you don't order off the lunch menu (during lunch, of course), but the last time I did that, I spent $15 for a bowl of Mussman curry and rice, which made two meals for me. Not bad considering if I ate out for lunch two days in a row, I'd spend just as much, if not slightly more if you work in the cost of gas to get there (versus going there only once). The restaurant itself is quaint/cute. It has a gorgeous view of the water, so see if you can get a window seat if it's a pretty day! We were a little blinded by the sunlight, but didn't bother asking if we could close the windows. The server was quick and efficient and made sure our water glasses were full. I'm a huge fan of their curries and their pad thai (and I'm not a huge pad thai lover...) I will definitely recommend this restaurant. If you're willing to spend a little extra, do it here. My third visit here in the past year, and I have to say - I'm a fan. The setting is very nice- a well-appointed restaurant situated next to the bay in Poulsbo. It's refreshing to eat Thai food in a setting outside of a strip mall. The service was so friendly and prompt - the place wasn't busy at 6:30pm on a Sunday evening, but all the window views were full, so they asked if we wouldn't mind waiting a couple of minutes for them to clear off a window seat for us. Of course we don't mind! I took my parents to celebrate their anniversary. They're Thai newbies but I love their adventurous spirit. My dad ordered the daily special- crispy bundles (cream cheese and crab stuffed fried wontons) to start (he got three), tom yum soup, phad thai and rice, and his choice of green curry or cashew chicken (he went with the cashew chicken) and the black sticky rice pudding. All of that for $14.95 - a great deal! We also ordered the satay chicken and it was delightful - very tender and moist with a great coconut and curry flavor, perfectly complemented by the peanut sauce. My mom tried the Islander Chicken (stir-fried chicken with peppers, mushrooms, onions, jalapenos and crispy basil in coconut milk and soy sauce. I had the Phad Woo Sen. LOTS of chicken and egg in my dish- YUM. All of our meals were delicious! Spicy, but filled with flavor. The veggies were cooked perfectly and still had a great cripsiness to them (I hate soggy veggies). Our server was very attentive but not overbearing. Our water glasses never got more than half empty and she checked on us about 3-4 times (I think this is the perfect amount). All-in-all, I enjoy AroyDy very much. Lunch prices are more reasonable (for the same food), as usual, but our dinner with drinks and desserts for 3 was only $60, so I'll definitely take my parents here again next time I'm visiting in Poulsbo. read more

Went here for the second time in months last night with two other ladies for dinner. I had the Tom Yum with shrimp along with garlic green beans with tofu. I ordered my soup with a Level 4 spiciness...whew! Really spicy! But i enjoyed it. The green beans were really tasty in their soy-garlic sauce, especially when I put some beans and tofu over my rice and the sauce was leaking into it. After we ate and paid, we pretty much just sat there chatting for a good hour until we realized they were closing up but the two people attending us (they look like they're in high school) were cool about it and didn't kick us out or anything. If I get a craving for Thai and don't feel like driving to Silverdale, I'll definitely drop by again. read more
