I got take out pork Pad Thai. It was horrible. The sauce is literally just a BUNCH of hot ketchup. I have NEVER had such horrible Pad Thai before. The toppings were questionable, and the pork was chewy fat slices. I paid 20 dollars including tax for food I couldn't even take more than 2 bites of. Not to mention, when going to pick it up, the place smells musty and it's insanely hot inside. Everything is dusty. Never again will I go here, if you want Thai food, look elsewhere. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but if you're near the area, I'd search elsewhere for Thai. I am really big on Thai curry, and while they did try, the flavors just didn't hit the spot. We also ordered a plate of chicken, and according to everyone who ate it, the chicken seemed way over done. Also, the sticky rice was like one hard ball of rice and very difficult for me to break apart. To give them the benefit of the doubt, we had to get it delivered. It was very cold where we were, and our delivery person got lost. Honestly, those circumstances may have contributed to food getting cold, hard, and just not as tasty. Since we were using delivery, and this restaurant was the only Thai restaurant on our app, we settled here. Could it be better in the restaurant? Perhaps. Will I be giving this another shot? I think if I were ever in the area and in dire need of delivery, as this is the only Thai place we could find late at night, I believe I still would. :) read more

Ordered the yellow curry and it was bland and could use extra spice. However my friends loved their pad Thai and Tom Kha. Service was wonderful but there was only one young girl taking care of all the customers. Restaurant is cute and well decorated. We called in an order earlier tonight. They said the wait would be 30minutes, however it took a bit longer. When waiting in the seating area there were noises coming from above. I'm sure you can use your imagination to figure out what the rustling around was. When we got home the curry container was only half full and pretty watery. Within the first bite I knew that our number 3 spicy order (on a scale of 1-5) was really a number that should be described as ghost pepper. I tried to dilute it with milk but it was to late. After 15 minutes of hyperventilating I no longer have congestion from my cold, however, my tongue is now numb. I wasn't impressed with the food and will instead make my Thai food at home. read more

Spending $80 for food that takes like it just came out of a microwave is so disappointing. Chicken Satay "nuggets" so dry you can't even bite thru them. Pad See Ewe is terrible, noodles taste like they are leftovers from yesterday, tasteless with specs of chicken. We recently moved to the area and were looking for some good Thai food. Unfortunately, this was not the Thai we were looking for. Both of our main dishes, the Phad See Ew and Pineapple Fried Rice, were incredibly bland. They also contained odd fillers, not usually found in these dishes. We also noticed that the meat was not high quality (or prepared properly). Sadly, not even the appetizer we ordered, the pot stickers, were really enjoyable. An exceptional dining experience ... Again! We have been visiting Thai Orchard for years and always felt it was good enough. But things change: Our last few visits since the dining room opened, we are now experiencing wonderful meals. This is great news. Living in Port Orchard has it's up sides, but dining options often is mediocre at best. However, Thai Orchard had hit a new stride and we love it. The flavors are rich, dynamic, and will presented in all our dishes. And the customer service is stellar. We were served by three different staff members throughout the meal. So we highly recommend. It's not in our plans to drive to Silverdale, Gig Harbor, and Seattle for more expensive Thai. We'll just drive down Mile Hill for our Thai experience! read more

Their soup will heal your soul. Do I remember what kind of soup I got here? No. Did I whip the soup out in the middle of class only for a substitute teacher to ask me what I was eating? Yes. Now I took this as a complement towards the soup, that it was so intriguingly delicious she just had to know what it was. I've been ordering from Thai Orchard for the past 2 years. The quality has been significantly declining. The "sticky" rice has become this gelatinous brick that is almost inedible (and they wrap it in plastic wrap, no container). We ordered Chicken Satay tonight and it was burned so badly that only our dog would eat it. That's a $15 appetizer that we couldn't eat. The entrees were decent, just no edible rice or appetizer. Excellent food and service! We usually order the pad thai or the pad see ew and sometimes the crab wontons. Everything there has always been fantastic. The service has always been very friendly and caring. It is one of our favorite restaurants! I have been to this restaurant several times. The food is always amazing. I normally get a dish called "Red Sea, Garlic Pork and Honey Duck". I usually ask for extra seafood. The plates come out sizzling and the spicy trays are blended perfectly with lots and lots of Thai Chilies. The only thing I would recommend is re-venting the back area near the restrooms. Great job here and nice prices. It's well decorated with lots of elephants and other Asian statues. The staff is family oriented and do a great job at getting the food out in a timely manner. Take out ordered in restaurant, 1 hr wait... Wow, been a while since we've had such a bad meal. Chicken satay was hard as a rock, inedible. Garlic pork ribs ($18) were dry as sawdust & tasteless. Garlic beef was ok. We asked for rice, got none. You have to watch the bill too. When we got home we discovered they put a tip into the bill without asking or telling us. Found gum with hair in it at the bottom of my to go package of noodles. Luckily it was on toy when I flipped the package over or I wouldn't have caught it. I do not recommend eating here. How does gum with hair in it even fall into anything? I can understand gum or hair on its own but this gum had hair embedded in it. read more

Always good food here - in restaurant dining needs a lot of work. First of all we were the ONLY patrons eating in the restaurant at lunch today, tho they had a bustling take-out. Took forever to get a glass of water (had to go over by the kitchen & call out) & then go over again to request to have order taken. Prep & service took forever too. But the kicker was after we asked for the check: no bill-- just had a card reader thrust at me with the total & suggestions for the tip. But then the waiter just stood there staring at me! I started to put my card in but he just continued to stare. I finally insisted that he give me an actual bill but couldn't get him to walk away. He finally took the card reader away & filled it out himself - putting in no tip! I gave up at that point and did leave a tip. I am usually overly generous with waitstaff, but this time I just left 10% on the table. Bizarre totally disinterested service. read more

My husband and I went here last night for the first time. After reading majority positive reviews we made a order for pick up. It was terrible. My husband had orange chicken and fried rice. His orange chicken was BURNT and super hard and chewy. Almost like a chicken jerky. Fried rice was mediocre. I had Phad thai with chicken, my chicken was not burnt but I had maybe 4 little chicken slivers in my whole meal. We paid $30 and drove 15+ miles and it was not worth it. If I could give as zero stars, I would . I ordered fresh rolls to go for lunch and a coworker picked them up for all of us in the office. And when they arrived, I opened my box and saw a bunch of tiny fresh rolls that were cut filled with 99% lettuce and two shrimp that had been cut in half to put into the rolls. They charged me $9.75 after tax for the two fresh rolls. Highly overpriced for just getting iceberg lettuce. I called to let them know that I was not pleased and the lady that answered the phone laughed and said that she works in the front and there should be four shrimp in them. I used to love this restaurant but the food has become very inconsistent. I order the same dish every time and it comes with various different sauces, different spice levels and different ingredients despite the fact that I order the exact same thing every time. The staff are nice and the food is good but you'll get something different every time. Might as well close your eyes and pick an item off the menu rather than ordering your favorite dish.
