I like to find places that my hard earned money goes far. Well, this isn't the place for that. They do have a lovely outdoor seating area and the staff is friendly and helpful. For two of us we ordered a very small appetizer (eggplant rollatini) which only had two small pieces. The marinara was quite simple and a bit sweet which didn't tantalize our taste buds. The eggplant was sliced very thin and tasted quite good. For our main dishes I ordered veal served over penne pasta with more of the same sauce and mozzarella. The other meal was the "large" shrimp over linguini with the same sauce. I am not sure how this fairly small dish was considered large and cost $5 more. This place is BYOB so for two people to order what we did and have a bill of $85 is a bit much. And the meals don't include a salad or bread. If it was amazing, I would have a different opinion. But as far as I see it, it's quite pricey for a small portion of average. read more

They came out with generic commercial well done slices of lamb and I was expecting something fresher and cooked to how I was asked. Good lord this place is a mess. I heard alarm bells ringing in my head the moment I took a seat: the seats were sticky and so was the table. The place wasn't even busy and it was before noon on a Saturday. There were multiple shards of fingernail sized clear plastic in the non-shrimp appetizer (calamari). The staff didn't care and didn't show after the two appetizers for 20 minutes. You could tell they were miserable. They didn't refund the order. The waitress just looked at us and sighed, walking away defeated: the staff seem like they're used to being yelled at. Which is doubly sad considering you could tell they were really trying hard at first... just getting beaten down over time. We waited another 15 minutes for someone else to come talk to us: nobody came. We paid full price at the front desk and walked out. read more

We are long time customers of Arpeggio, dating back to the other building at the Spring House Shopping Center. We have enjoyed many delicious meals with family, friends, and coworkers over the years. The food is always delicious! We have never had a bad meal at Arpeggio! We are now "empty nesters" and look forward to our take-out pizza on Friday nights. It is always fresh and hot. We enjoy the convenience of the curbside pick-up too. Your servers are always helpful and kind. In particular, Julianna and Chloe are always friendly and take the time to say hello and make sure that our order is correct and complete. I gave this place a second chance today and found it just as underwhelming as the first time I came. I don't get the attraction. The layout is aesthetically pleasing, but the acoustics are terrible. You can't hear anyone talking at your own table. Service was awfully slow both times - once for lunch, once towards the end of dinner. The food today was very bland and simple. Chicken wraps and sandwiches are hard to mess up, but these were dry and lifeless. Our dinner meals were equally as disappointing. Both the branzino and pasta was dried out as if sitting under a heat lamp for too long. Desert was good, I will say. The setting of this place is great. Went on a rainy day but was still able to sit outside for lunch on their covered patio. Food came out really fast and service was quick and accessible. The pizza was great, especially with some added oregano and peppers. The calamari was cut larger than I'm used to having, which I enjoyed. However, the star of the meal was the sweet potato fries. How do they make them so good?? I'm definitely tryna come back here around dinnertime to try more of their seafood and enjoy the patio at night with the lights on. We went there for my wife and her best girlfriend's birthdays. We had a wide selection of wonderful entries to choose from. My wife had the salmon which was exquisite. Her friend, had a Greek dish that she said was excellent as well. I had a cheeseburger, with a slice of American cheese on top of the burger, and a slice of American cheese on the bottom of the burger. It was outstanding. The most discriminative behavior ever - ethnicity, gender, age - you name. If you are not of white skin, don't go here. The host is absolutely unknowledgeable, disrespectful and inappropriate in placing people as they come. Their website and their phone messages say - first come first serve but we joined the waitlist online, checked I. With the host she. They came in and 46 mins later the host has the audacity to tell me that since we are a party of 6, it will be 6 people that will require to empty the table. I DON'T SEE A PARTY OF 6 but an 8 and 4. what does this mean. You kept my 4 year old son hungry for 47 minutes after checking in. When we checked in with the host, it said 4 parties ahead of us. The host sat 5 parties of 4 ahead of us when it said 1 party ahead of us. If you don't take reservations, say it, don't pretend. If you don't understand the concept of waitlist, don't pretend. I'd you don't want to seat us, say so and we will NOT waist our time and face the discrimination. This was the second time we faced this. First time, this happened - I gave this benefit of doubt. Their hummus and Zat'r pita is great--we got a plate of veggies to dip and two pitas with hummus and that totaled $27.50!!!!! For hummus and pita and veggies!!!!! I have eaten at Arpeggio's multiple times, and enjoy eating in their outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, their food is either a hit or a miss. Food: (3/5) I feel like I had more wins with their Mediterranean options, such as the kebabs and hummus. My husband loves their pizza offerings, and highly rates their truffle pizza. However, the last several visits I got the Salmon Florentine, Joe's Penne, and shrimp rosita. The food was bland, and portions smaller than before (for the price you pay). Typically the Joe's Penne comes with a piece of bread and the last two times I had to ask the server for bread. Which does not seem much, but comparing to my past visits the food and presentation does not seem as high in caliber. I also used to love their banoffee pie, but it is not as good as before. Not sure if it was off for the week, or the recipe changed. Environment: (5/5) Great place if you want to have a party, as there is plenty of indoor seating and a nice atmosphere.
