I'm mad at myself for not trying Arpeggio sooner and cannot wait to go back! Food: Menu was a bit overwhelming but I really loved the split between Italian and Mediterranean! Just means I need to go back to try it again (and again). My friend and I split the fried calamari which was incredibly fresh and lightly breaded (chef's kiss). Best of all for me, it was only the "rings" (I'm not a fan of the little bodies with those little legs!) The red sauce to dip in was also delicious. For dinner I opted for a kebab combo with brown rice, and my friend ordered the branzino. We were both incredibly happy! Service: Quick, friendly and efficient. We started off laughing that I had the same name as our server (which isn't a very common name) only to learn the table next to us also had a Morgan! It was friendly and set the tone. They opened our bottle of wine (***BYOB***!) right away so we could get to sipping. There was a little delay getting the check paid but I think they were honestly just letting us finish up - which was kind as we were the last ones there on a Sunday evening! Ambiance: Loved! Arpeggio and I finally meet. Good friend of mine has been talking this place up and I got the chance to try it out last Friday. Grilled Calamari - Not a good start for Arpeggio's first impression. This appetizer coming in at almost $20.00 was very close to unedible. Grilled too long and almost utterly tasteless. You guys really need to go back to the drawing board on this appetizer or maybe it was a new Chef either way this dish was a big flop. Veal with Angel Hair Pasta - Give credit where credit is due, the Veal was absolutely wonderful. Angel Hair Pasta they give you a heaping portion and it taste greate to my palate, very light and the pasta sauce was paired perfectly fitting the pasta selected. Another very odd moment happened when server asked me if I wanted grated cheese, when I said yes she looked confused almost and didn't have any grated cheese on her when she asked. She disappeared and returned with a small portion cup of the picture below. Was this a one off or does this restaurant really serve grated cheese looking like that on all their dishes? Although this is a BYOB with the price points on their meals I don't think you will be having a cheap night out. The average age of a person dining here btw was about 70. I would come back to take out a Pizza as they do look quite good but not in any rush to come back for dine in service. I went to Arpeggio for a birthday dinner. I had never been to this restaurant because it is located in Spring House, which is a bit further from me, but convenient for others in the party. Arpeggio is located in the Spring House Shopping Center, which is also home to other businesses such as Whole Foods and Starbucks. Therefore, there is plenty of parking. Our party sat outside in their covered deck, which allowed for fresh air to come in. The deck overlooks a pond, which provides a nice view. We started off with a number of appetizers including pita and hummus, grilled vegetables and grilled calamari. All of these were were well-seasoned and the pita was fresh, warm and fluffy. My entree of chicken parmesan was very large, but tasty. Easily large enough to feed two people and came with a massive side of linguine and marina sauce. For dessert, I had the carrot cake. Airy cake with a good layer of creamy cream cheese-style frosting and two sides of whipped cream. The waitress was nice and got everything served quickly and efficiently. This restaurant isn't cheap and maybe even a bit overpriced, so be aware of that. Altogether, Arpeggio is a very good restaurant with nice ambience, friendly staff and tasty food! read more

This is an excellent restaurant as was our server, Chloe. The food is delicious. I got the salmon and it was cooked perfectly; tender and not over done. The potatoes and spinach with it were tasty and cooked just right. We ate indoors and the big open room was not loud and climate comfortable. We want to, especially compliment our waitress, Chloe, who was a delight. She was bubbly, smiling, and charming and she answered our questions and made suggestions that made us feel completely content with the food choices. She was attentive without being intrusive and addressed our quirky asks (like no ice in the water - and others) pleasantly and efficiently. We highly recommend Arpeggio. One note: they do not take reservations but you can call ahead on a busy evening and the travel time counts toward your wait time. read more

Arpeggio is an interesting place. They offer a expansive (even suspiciously) large menu that rivals the Cheesecake Factory or your favorite Jersey diner. It includes, among other things: wings, deli sandwiches, burgers, falafel, pizza, and kebabs. Mesmerizing. We began with the buffalo cauliflower and it was tasty: the sauce was spicy and everything seemed fresh. We also tried the Mediterranean combo platter and everything was tasty, except the smashed falafel. The platter didn't come with any pita, which wasn't a nice touch. We ordered some extra pita, and our flustered server never brought it, though it was added to our bill :(. I had the lunch souvlaki - the solitary chicken skewer came with vegetables and rice. The portion was rather stingy, but my chicken and rice was tasty. Prices at Arpeggio are rather high. Our server was friendly but the place was jammed, making it difficult to get refills and such. read more

What a unique place. The food (fried oysters, veal pizzaola, sea bass, and linguine bolognese) were all freshly prepared, hot and quality products. Of course the wine was delicious because it is BYOB. A little noisy with the close tables and high ceiling but we were in the side room which was a little better. The piping hot Zatar bread is off-the-charts good. I would probably prefer eating that with fresh olive oil than with hummus (we got the hummus trio, which is pretty good on its own). The grilled calamari appetizer is also quite decent. The thin-crust pear pizza was the exact opposite. Disaster. They don't know what they are doing with putting the pear, goat cheese, pecans, and fig balsamic glaze together. It was all randomly thrown on top of the crust. I would pass on the poached pear salad for the same reason. But the second time that I was there, I got the Burrata salad. Fortunately, they didn't mess that one up. The ambiance is quite nice, as is the service. I didn't venture into the desserts both times that I was here, but the food can be decent (definitely not great) or a complete miss. Amazing food and cant wait to come back. I came here for a Bridal Shower and it was fantastic from the waitress to the food. Next time I want to sit outside and enjoy some fresh air and some wine.
