When your primary doctor can't see you right away, we rely on the advise of an urgent care…read moredoctor.... so i head to Haven Elite. I had explained to the doctor that my back had been injured for over 2 weeks so he prescribed 5mg of Flexeril for 10 days. After taking this and staying away from the gym for 6 days, there was ZERO improvement. The medicine wasn't doing a thing for me. So i called them to see if they could switch up my muscle relaxant and they said I'd have to come in again. WHAT! I was literally just there for the same exact problem and you want me to return?!? They just want another reason to bill my insurance, as if my first copay wasn't high enough. My advice- if you can wait for your primary doc- WAIT! OR find an urgent care where they really want to help and not just collect on insurance.

Haven Elite Urgent Care:…read more Genuine care by a solid and thorough Doc. Attention to every detail. Appointments spaced out to allow for quality and personal one on one care and treatment. X rays on the premises. I was rear ended in a car accident. I was rocked. My back, neck and right shoulder were jacked up. I went to a hospital ER in the area and it was slammed. So I went on our good ol' Yelp and found this wonderful urgent care. Everything about this experience - the first phone call with Gabrielle, her care, concern and professionalism; her being on the ball and so efficient( btw she is a US Navy Veteran)- this set the tone for a great and calming visit. Dr Cho was incredible. Very personable, cool, related to me and was just so very thorough as he covered every possible avenue and took his time treating me, testing my reflexes and my areas of concern. He was very thorough. He showed me and detailed all of my x rays. The office was immaculate. Clean and very well organized. There were complimentary mini water bottles and some snacks for the patients. Great medical establishment.

THREE WORDS: GLORIFIED DRUG DEALERS…read more I left this urgent care extremely disappointed. My experience felt like the doctor's role was simply to write a prescription rather than actually evaluate my condition or discuss treatment options. When I asked questions and was looking for medical guidance, I didn't receive any meaningful explanation, opinion, or advice on what might actually help me recover. The billing experience was just as off-putting. I paid cash because I don't have insurance, and I felt like I was treated with suspicion because of it. Before I ever received any treatment, I was asked to pay multiple times and had a credit card terminal put in front of me at least three separate times. Instead of the typical process of receiving a bill or paying at the end of the visit, the focus seemed to be on collecting payment before providing care. If all you need is someone to write a prescription, this place may meet your needs. But if you're looking for a physician who takes the time to evaluate your condition, explain their reasoning, and provide thoughtful medical guidance, I'd recommend going somewhere else. I left feeling rushed, unheard, and no more informed about my condition than when I walked in.

My visit with Kandin Maraquin at MedCove Urgent Care in Upland was one of the most unprofessional…read moreand upsetting medical experiences I have ever had. I went to urgent care because I had pulled a muscle from excessive coughing. I had strained the back of my neck, had soreness in my chest area, and developed a sharp pain in my side. The pain had been present for several days, and I simply wanted a medical evaluation and possibly medication to help with the discomfort. Instead, what I received was fear, panic, and emotional trauma. Within minutes of speaking to Kandin Maraquin, I was told that I was having a heart attack. Not that it needed to be ruled out. Not that there was concern. I was told I was having a heart attack and needed to go to the ER immediately. If I did not have transportation, I was told an ambulance would be called. I was completely blindsided. What was most alarming was how quickly this conclusion was reached. I felt like he immediately jumped to the worst possible scenario without taking the time to properly evaluate me, ask additional questions, or perform a thorough examination. The entire interaction felt rushed, dismissive, and lacking any level of compassion. I was there less than 10 minutes.. His bedside manner was nonexistent. There was no reassurance, no empathy, and no concern for the emotional impact of what he was saying. It felt as though frightening a patient was of no consequence. I was visibly upset, terrified, and in tears, yet there was no attempt to calm me down or explain things in a professional manner. I left that office genuinely believing I was having a heart attack because of how aggressively and confidently it was presented to me. Even after an EKG at the office, did not indicate that I was having a heart attack, I was still sent to the emergency room. Out of fear, I followed the instructions and spent approximately eight hours in the ER. The outcome? No heart attack. No cardiac emergency. No life-threatening condition. The emergency room physicians determined that my symptoms were consistent with pulled and strained muscles caused by excessive coughing, including the muscles in my neck and chest area. After hours of fear, tears, anxiety, and emotional distress, I was told exactly what I suspected from the beginning. I understand that medical providers must be cautious when chest pain is involved. What I do not understand is how a healthcare professional can communicate in such an alarming, insensitive, and unprofessional manner. There is a significant difference between saying, "I want you evaluated further to be safe," and telling a patient they are having a heart attack before a thorough evaluation has been completed. No patient should leave a medical office traumatized. No patient should leave feeling like they were treated as an inconvenience. No patient should leave in tears because of the way a healthcare provider chose to communicate. My personal impression was that the situation was handled with poor judgment, poor communication, and a complete lack of empathy. I left feeling that my concerns were not thoughtfully evaluated and that the provider was more interested in rushing me out the door than actually treating me. Patients deserve professionalism, compassion, and careful communication. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those things during this visit. This experience was frightening, unnecessary, and completely unacceptable. I would never return to this provider, and I sincerely hope management reviews how patients are being treated because no one should walk into an urgent care for a pulled muscle and leave believing they may be dying.

So coming here is a mystery bag of whether you'll get a good provider and care or not. First Doctor, he actually examined my knee, had me bend and move it. Then did xray on the spot and I was given preliminary results. Official results from the radiologist would take a day or two. You'll get notified by phone call. That doctor was decent. Second time I came for potential fracture toe, I got an ancient doctor who didn't ask me any questions other than, so you think you broke it? We will get you an xray but xray tech doesn't work today so you'll have to come back tomorrow and just get OTC medication if you're in pain. Then she sends me away. Third time I was there, a different doctor saw me. She did not exam me either however she did ask me more questions, got me an Xray and provided preliminary results. Actually prescribed me some pain meds. If you're coming here for potential sprain fracture injury visit, keep in mind their xray tech is only Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm, occasionally he will work a Saturday.

First of all, they are open 24 hours which is a huge plus in my book. I called asking if they accept my insurance and the receptionist was able to answer it so quickly. Brandy and Cesar made the check in process was quick and easy with such a positive attitude and friendly face. Then I met with Dr Yvonne...she absolutely was the nicest and patient doctor I have come across. She didn't rush me as I had quite a few questions, she empathize with what I was going through and was clear on the treatment plan. Amy handle my treatment plan and she was so nice as well. I met with Jose who was the X-ray technician and wow! so knowledgeable and detailed with the X-rays that I would need to go back. Another plus is that there is a pharmacy right next door so I didn't have to drive to another location. Overall, the staff provided excellent service from start to finish, and their bedside manner was outstanding--compassionate, professional, and attentive. It made a stressful situation much more manageable and reassuring. It's a relief to know there's a reliable, caring Urgent Care available 24 hours around the clock.
