We had a main sewer line back event that occurred around 1pm on a weekday. It could have been from construction across the street, but we weren't sure. I called Arrow Plumbing and they were able to dispatch a plumber to examine our sewer lines within 90 minutes. Anthony, the plumber sent, was wonderful to work with. Honest, efficient, and transparent about everything going on. He ran a camera throughout our sewer lines to verify that there were no blockages, and helped me understand what happened, and who to contact (we need to contact the city since it's a main sewer line issue). The pricing was mid-range. According to AI, they were in the mid-range of what to expect in San Diego ($295 for a camera inspection of sewer lines from house to city sewer main). We have been completely satisfied using Arrow Plumbing for more than 15 years. On occasion we had to use another plumbing company because of a contractor, and we always go back to insisting on using Arrow for all our buildings. All of their plumbers, as well as the people who set their appointments, are very proud of their jobs. It shows in how they treat their customers like family. I hate a leak in my main water line inside the house. I was able to get someone to come to my house within 24 hours. The plumber named Nacho was extremely pleasant. He analyzed the issue and quoted me a fair price before he started. He repaired the leak and showed me in detail where the line failed and that it would have been much worse soon. I have used this company many times over the last 30 years and maybe it was sold to new owners, as the last few visits have been priced on the high side. I had a pressure regulator replacement needed yesterday, which is maybe a $250 part and then maybe 2 hours to install. They charged me $947 which was at least $300 high. So ya, off to find a more reasonable company. They were out quickly if money is no object to you. I am retired, so it matters. BTW, they charge a $67 fee just to come out and give an estimate now, which to me means their estimates are to high and they are not getting the jobs. read more

A couple of weeks ago, Joel & Jesus from Arrow Plumbing replaced an old toilet with a new one. I received a call ahead of their arrival which was helpful in managing my own schedule. Upon arrival, I asked that they wear booties (I keep a stash on hand). They obliged without hesitation. I wore a mask and they kindly offered to also wear masks. Since I was working in another room, I felt comfortable with them working without masks on this occasion. They were incredibly professional and worked both quietly and quickly. They took care to bag the old toilet before moving it out to the garage. They even took the time to answer a question I had about the current shower trim. I appreciated the tips. I'm revising my note with pictures showing how the company truck was left parked overnight. An employee parked his boss truck in front of my driveway preventing me from backing my trailer into my garage. When I called the 24 hour number all he wanted to do was argue with me about how he was right & I was wrong, so I hung up. The vehicle just needed to be moved back about a foot. I had to drive over the curb to get into my driveway. This property has been in my family for 87 years. I feel entitled to use it. I gave him one hour to move back or be towed. At no time did he respect his elders or my property. He's arrogant and obnoxious. He is rude and as inconsiderate as any human could ever be. He'd rather verbally vomit into his phone rather listen to the one that has called. This is how he is as a human so he's useless as a plumber. He's disrespectful of women and should be given a pink slip immediately. I certainly would never want anyone to let this man inside of their house. Until I'm advised by the owner that this man child is no longer their employee, I'd advise you to have nothing to do with this company. I called Arrow to clean out my sewer line which they did, quickly. The technician was courteous. I was told it woud be a $69 service fee to give me an estimate. I assumed if I hired them it would be waived. I did hire them to clean the line and it took less than an hour. I was floored when they charged me the $69 service fee on top of the $375 fee for the job. The only way I would hire them again if they drop the service fee if I hire them. The responsiveness of Arrow Plumbing completely exceeded my expectations. A leak had developed in one of my bathroom, copper pipes, so they need to get it fixed was urgent. They immediately dispatched two technicians Omar and Jesus who were fantastic. They quickly diagnosed the problem. Using some cool high-tech tools, they quickly fixed a problem I had expected would not be fixed the same day. They were also able to diagnose another problem I had with the water regulator on the house and also fixed it on the spot. In the middle of our shower remodel we had a cast iron crack and Jesus came out the very next day to save the pipe. Not only did he fix our problem, but was able to point out the renovation crew's substandard plumbing technique the other company had initiated for the new shower. Jesus explained in detail risks and benefits with both techniques and most likely has saved us from future disaster. I'm actually feeling lucky the cast iron cracked and I had the opportunity to get his evaluation of the situation This isn't the first time I've used this company, I initially found them to be the most competitive with cost when I had a clogged drain and I've never looked for another plumber since. Last week I had requested a quote to replace all of the plumbing in my home from quest plumbing to pex plumbing and I was very clear that I did not want copper before they came out to bid. When the new owner, which is the old owners son arrived, he said he only does copper. He told me it would take him four days to give me a quote for what I was wanting. He then told me that pex only has a 1-2 year warranty (it's actually almost a thirty year warranty) and that it would take him 2-3 weeks to do the job. I'm assuming he told me all of this so I wouldn't choose him because the second he care in my home he was on the train of selling me on copper. But it's more realistic to say he was telling me all of this so I would bite and pay $10,000 for the copper option. Thanks but no thanks. He identified the problem, which was not easy, as the prior plumber during some construction took some lazy ways to solve an issue, and Isiah used his superior technical knowledge. I have a very long toilet Saga that I will shorten up for my audience. Started in August when the toilet quit flushing properly. I called an unnamed Big Plumbing Company and the plumber came out told me I needed a new handle on my 2-year-old toilet and he said you get it yourself and then call me back and I will come and install it. He charged me $180 for that visit, which was all of 10 minutes and he was going to charge me another $180 put the handle in. I got a new handle for $100 because it was a Toto toilet and very expensive and we put the handle in ourselves and the toilet still didn't work. Called the same company add their Master Plumber came out and I said I wasn't going to pay for this visit and he hardly looked at the toilet and told me what was wrong with the toilet and it couldn't be fixed he said that he could sell me a new toilet at a very good deal. I didn't go for that. And I ended up calling Arrow Plumbing thinking that it might be a drain problem. Omar and Joel came out a couple of days after I called and Omar took one look at it and told me I had a stopped up water supply, 8he took a flathead screwdriver he scraped the calcium off of the sides of the conduit and in 10 minutes my toilet that had been broken since August and it cost me a lot of money was fixed.
