Jay came through the same day to fix that main water line and explained how Trustworthy could line every bit of my sewer line with inversion pipe lining vs pull through which is limited to access points. The pull through method would not be able to line the entire cast iron pipe under my bathrooms, which was the whole point as they were in poor condition and had root intrusion. I parted ways with the other company and signed onto Trustworthy the next day. Jay and Scott have gone above and beyond, installing the best materials and doing an expert job of prepping my old cast iron sewer cleanouts (two) that would have been impossible to line past those points without removing them and replacing those sections with PVC pipe and new cleanouts instead. When they jackhammered through the concrete of my front porch to get to the old cleanout at the front of the house, they proactively replaced the main water line in addition to removing the old cleanout and replacing it with PVC. The pipe liners lined everything in one day, getting all of both bathrooms and the tie ins (sinks, toilets and tubs) under the foundation. They also did the concrete work to patch the hole when it was done, as well as patched a significant crack near my front door. I highly recommend Trustworthy plumbing. Jay and Scott are the best!

Nothing especially serious found he suggested having a moisture remediation company investigate. They also thankfully found no critical issues but suggested replacing aged disposal and some of the under sink plumbing and water lines. Scott again quickly returned in an evening and got it done. If we continue to experience any issues the remediation company will complete some specialized treatment. Scott is a super friendly, knowledgeable and caring professional that obviously loves his work. Highly recommended!

I'd scanned Yelp to find a plumber to replace my kitchen faucet. I contacted RDZ and after a nice call said yes, though of course I felt the price was too high, but where did I go to plumber's school? Then the phone calls started, some impersonating RDZ and some trying tp take the job. At that time I felt there was some scam going on, and eventually cancelled the job. Apparently I cancelled it with one of the usurpers and not RDZ. Thanks Yelp for sharing my number with so many other plumbers, I'd estimate at least 6. So poor RDZ was on their way, on a Saturday as requested and called to confirm, and I told them I'd cancelled the job. We were all upset but I'd found a local plumber who only works weekdays. I had an unusually available friend who drove from San Diego to open the house here in Julian, CA. I believe RDZ would have done a fine job were they not overwhelmed by Yelp-driven competition, to the point that just had to shut down the process. It goes without saying that if you come to unclog a toilet the purpose is to fix the side toilet as well. They originally offered to come out the same day which is amazing but I told him it would be easier if they came the following day. They told me they would be here at 12:00 on Wednesday I had to leave by 1:30 and they still weren't here and said it would be 2 to 3 hours. No problem I gave them instructions on where to park how to get my house Etc. Then they said can we come the following day and I said never mind it's okay I will find another plumber. They were then able to make it immediately. However I wasn't home to verify their work. Stupidly I paid them immediately and then called my husband who told me that they unclog the toilet but didn't fix anything so they were able to make it flush but then laughed and didn't fix the actual problem which was that the toilet is going to continue to clog. I reached out to them and ask them for either a refund or to come and fix it and they told me no until I told them that I was going to request a chargeback or give them a bad Yelp review. So here we are. Obviously if someone calls you because their toilet is clogged it is because they want it to be fixed not unclogged one time so that you can use it again and clog it a second time‍ also who wants to deal with all of this back and forth and waste of time?

I had a very pleasant interaction with Roy. I found Open Line Plumbing and their five Yelp star…read morereviews by asking for quotes through Yelp messaging. I needed a Moen Flo leak detector device installed and a temperature sensor because if I didn't my insurance, Safeco was terminating me. So Roy was the first bidder to show up. But I got a bid for $950 not including the device which I got through Yelp messaging from another company, just as an estimate. Roy showed me how he was going to run the path and that it was not a simple installation because there wasn't much room on the pipe and he had to make all these modifications. Well we got sidetracked because I had two Toyota RVs on my driveway. And Roy was asking me about the two RVs and then he told me he has a school bus that he modified to be an RV where he took his wife and two kids all the way across the country and through Canada. He showed me pictures of the 40 ft School bus on his phone, and the interior that he put in it Looked just like a regular RV interior Well he did a terrific job everything looked like new, his school bus, not my copper pipe. And it turned out I found later that Roy's company gave me the cheapest installation price if I provide the Moen flow they would install it for $350. Other companies who came after him we're incredulous about Roy's price and well, I couldn't say that they would say anything good about it because they couldn't beat the price. But Roy had his office give it to me in writing. I have not gotten to the point yet and I think rather than do the things that my insurance company wants me to I'm trying to find alternative ways to avoid it by changing status of my insurance. But I could see why this company has five solid Yelp Stars if I would need to install the Moen Flo, I would pick Open Line Plumbing and hope that Roy comes to my door.
