They have different items from clothing to household to garden to minor electronics. If your looking for the high ended stuff like Tarja(target) don't come here so you can bish and complain and degrade. Now that that is taken care of.... I like this D.D.s location. I start coming in to pickup my Amazon packages since they got a Amazon locker in this location I feel safe picking up my packages here. Well I decided to look a round a month ago and like what I saw. Random items you don't see in tarja or don't see in Wally mart any more. I bought a belt and a Bluetooth speaker and it still worked and is pretty loud. They claim they close at 9:30. Went in at 5 or 10 mins before they are suppose to close and the cashiers said they were closed for maintenance. There are no signs on their door stating they planned to close earlier than their normal hours. I understand it's a holiday weekend but this is not a small business, this a large corporation & there should be a sign on main entrance clarifying reason they plan to close before their operational closing hours and lock their main entrance door if they want to close early. I've worked in retail before and clearly understand their type of things do happen. But if you plan to close early for what ever reason that is, you make a sign, post on your entrance door and lock door so no one else comes in. read more

I tried to use my visa gift card and they don't take them. The register kept having problems with it and the associate George didn't even try to help and check to see what was wrong they were trying to rush me out the store like I wasn't a customer to see if something was wrong with their system at least. So if you need to use a gift card save yourself the embarrassment and not also we were told to take our own hangers off the clothing to help the line move faster. I'm not a fan out that, people need to learn patience and the customers shouldn't be doing that. Also they don't wait until your done paying before they call the next customer up. If you see something that you really like, buy it. Because they rarely reorder the same merchandise. Been to dd's Discounts a handful of times already. I don't go there looking for anything in particular, but I usually walk out with something. As with most discount stores, dd's has pretty much everything: Clothing for all family members, bathroom and kitchen stuff, exercise equipment, and stuff for your car, as well. Prices are okay. Just make sure you look over the item, inside and out (if you can) to make sure you're buying the item for a true discount, not because the item is faulty, dirty, or just plain crap. They do not allow food or drink in the store (I was shooed out right away...). There are dressing rooms, or rather, at least one dressing room. The space between each aisle is pretty spacious, compared to those of other stores. Two people can pass through if they wanted. There are some brands that are very familiar: Disney, Carter, Baby Phat, Imusa, Oster... Something for everyone, if you're into shopping these kinds of stores. Great prices. Great stuff. They don't have restrooms and you get sent to CVS. Have dressing rooms. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom room, living room items. Clothes, shoes, toys, jewelry, watches, work out things, sexy shoes, hair products, some skin care. They have alittle of everything except furniture. People are nice. They could be nicer but they are ok. They have discount sections for clothes. I like finding things here on clearance like high heels, boots skin care, make up etc. I find allot of things here for my hubby. It's a great place. They will be around for a while. This place is so great for finding yourself a good bargain. The place isn't even that big and I always end up spending around an hour browsing around. I go almost once every week and they always have new merchandise up so I usually end up taking something home. I've bought purses, kitchen ware, pet supplies, blouses, decorations for my room and shoes for my 8 year old cousin. Lately they've had Hot Tools curling irons which go for $35-$50 in Ulta for around $15. They're practically a steal at that price!! I've bought one of the Hot Tools as well as one of the Bed Head Curlipops and they both work perfectly. I'm only posting the 5 stars so my comment could be viewed. The cashier KIARA is the rudest person I've ever come in contact with. My mom was asking her questions in Spanish and she was just ignoring them during the whole transaction when we heard her speaking in spanish. When confronted she said she only understands some words and could speak some words as well. My mom was just asking her questions that involved her answering either "YES or NO" . After she tried to be slick to her "so called manager" telling her a twisted story that we are blowing things out of porportion, I nicely told the "manager" what had happened and she just said we can't be talking in that way to her co workers. KIARA then had the balls to scream at my mom and the manager was just standing there doing nothing at all. This girl and her "manager" need to be fired ASAP!!!! read more

I have been to this location three times and I like it more than the other locations I've been too. It's big, clean, and many low priced items. I bought many items for less than $7 to give as prizes for my friend's baby shower. Like the other reviewer stated, make sure you check the items before buying. The lines are usually long when you walk in, but they die down quick by the time you browse the store and head to the registers. I love shopping here for inexpensive clothes, home decor , shoes etc. The price range is incredible! What I don't like is the check out experience. Dont get me wrong, nobody is being rude BUT its a rush rush situation. Literally while your swiping your card or handing your cash, the cashier is already yelling " NEXT CUSTOMER IN LIIIINE!!" ....like, can we fully complete my transaction b4 u call the next guest? .... Went in to get stuff for my lil sister as we're waiting the loss prevention was standing behind the counter talking to the cashier about the kind of guy that he is how he doesn't go around talking shit about other people and the cashier is taking forever cuz she is having a full-on conversation with him once we get up to the register she does not greet us she did not ask how our day a was she did not ask if he found everything okay she continued her conversation with the loss prevention worker ignored us basically was so rude and disrespectful I don't think I'll be shopping here again and I left I was so pissed at this situation because that is their job to make all their customers feel important I worked at Ross not once were we allowed to stand there as customers waited in line to have a conversation about our personal lives that's really unacceptable! read more

The security guard and the cashier who "helped" my friend and I were talking about "hitting up a girl" as they were scanning my items. On my Christmas shopping journey.. dds is the place to shop... great deals, and customer service... I spent at lest 4 hours there trying to find the best gifts for my love ones .... I thought it was gonna be out of control since it was the weekend before Christmas, but to my surprise it was well stocked, no line, the workers were very attentive to my needs... to make it short my Christmas shopping went really smooth... Would leave 0 stars if possible! I was across the street and saw that this store was still open during the COVID-19 pandemic! It is absolutely disgusting and vile for this company to require their employees to come into work regardless of STRONG federal and state wide government recommendations to STAY HOME! The store doesn't even sell products you would need during this pandemic!! But of course employees don't mean anything and are told to still go to work, meanwhile corporate is (I'm sure) working from home. This company DOES NOT care about it's employees or people on a basic level. There are multiple surrounding cases of this virus and these employees are being put at risk. there are multiple store fronts, why can't this company send their employees home and offer sick pay like other closed retail stores?? Because of their greed; they're indirectly causing death and their lack of closing stores and caring about people reflects what they stand for as a company.
