Really ? like that was the first time a was getting a pedi . Now my toe looks infected in plus I'm 7 months pregnant ( so worry about getting infections) Don't go to this place don't risk you selfs there's better places around we're the treat you nice and friendly ( Luus nails ) . There is a new owner. I live in LA, yet I drove over here every 3-4 weeks because it used to only cost $13 for a full set and while over here, I got to visit the Vietnamese restaurants and grocery stores. Now, there is a new owner and all new workers. There prices have gone up significantly, but the quality and options have also expanded. A full set with glitter tips are $20 and $25 for gel polish. Mani and spa pedi is only $22. After 3 weeks of getting my acrylics, my nails have grown out but the acrylic still has not lifted from the nail bed. This is very good! I will definitely continue to make the trip this way to get my monthly Asian/Vietnamese fix. read more

Of all the nail shops I've been to this place offers the best prices. I got white tips for 13 bucks (they offer any color for the same price) and my friend got some hello kitty tips for 22 dollars. They also have other designs like leopard, crushed sea shells, glitter etc. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone because of the reasonable prices and quality service. read more

me and my friend came in here on a thursday around 130 pm after a leaving a packed nail place by the valley mall. we were greeted right away, and were asked to pick our colors for our pedicures. they don't have office chairs which was a let down, so they sat us in office chairs lol. we were sitting across from each other so we could "talk" said the lady that did my pedi. she was really nice. another older lady asked me if i wanted to get my nails done as well. i declined. i was asked again by the lady doing my pedi also lol anyways, i would say it was a good $15 spent. $20 with tip. i left satisfied. :) i think its $10 without design...not too sure... read more

My sister and I had a pretty bad experience at Art Nails. It was thanksgiving day and our usual salon was closed, along with most places in the area. I know, we procrastinated until Thanksgiving which was our first mistake. I call the shop to confirm that they are open and to ask what time we should come in for a refill and a gel manicure. We were told to come in 15 minutes.. Which we did and an hour later I was still waiting. They were wildly under staffed and shouldn't have taken any new appointments and wasted my time. Needless to say I ended up walking out after more than an hour had passed. Another woman who was waiting before me walked out after waiting a long time too. My sister did get sat for her refill and had an equally bad experience. Her manicurist was the gentleman that works there... First, the station was not clean, he did not use new sterilized tools and he used the same acrylic solution that had been sitting on his station from a previous customer! So gross. He also left in the middle of the job to take a smoke break and my sister was forced to sit and smell his stale smokey breath and clothes for the rest of the time. When he finished the job looked half done. Their prices are higher than others in the area so save yourself a bad experience and go somewhere else. One star for being open on the holiday. read more

The reason I didn't give them 5 is because they're not very good at doing these types of nails. They look good but two or three look a bit crooked. Horrible experience. My first time here and it seemed like a quiet nice spot. Once I sit down the guy starts my nails because Jenny , the girl everyone loves apparently, is talking to a regular there. He starts my nails and I knew it would be bad. He didn't know what he was doing my nail beds look horrible. After 5 min he starts applying lotion and is finished with the manicure. Then he has the audacity to ask me to pay before he finishes. I don't like to get crazy with my nails so i don't know how well they do with acrylic, gel or other types of things. I had 3 people work on me, the lady that did my eyebrows did a good job. I've been coming here for the past half year or more...now I really like how Jenny does my acrylic, thin and natural looking. I pay extra for gel polish so the color can last longer and look shinier. This time I asked her can I do regular color polish but clear gel coat since i keep getting some reaction after? She said it won't look nice, it will be lumpy and will take a long time to dry. So I said ok fine, let's try again with gel polish. NOW THE ISSUE IS...Every time I get them done the same evening or next day I get a dark smear on the tips...I've gone back and showed her and she would tell me that's weird. It only happens to me and suggested that I don't cook or put my nails near heat since it's gel polish. I literally came on Thursday night, went out to eat for dinner and the next morning going to work I noticed a purplish shade on the tips. Then as I was at work I noticed then showed my coworker also its on the full nail now! I was soo shocked so I went back after work...this is literally 24 hrs after. I showed it to Jenny and she said how weird again. She was busy with a client and had another one waiting so I told her I'll come back tmrw which is saturday today or monday. I went back today (8/15/2015) after work with my daughter paid for my daughter polish for $5. I told her I brought my own polish and no gel this time. Just normal polish to see if there's a change. She rushed to file off the gel color which hurted my skin and she quickly buffed a little then polished my color on. While the fan was drying it I noticed it was NOT smooth. It was lumpy like cotton was on it on some lint was there..due to the fact she didn't file my nail smooth enough. She charged me $5 still!!! Even tho it was only the 24 hrs that the nails was done. I thought she would've done a courtesy change for me being that i came back so soon with this problem. I did acrylic and gel polish with her obviously something is wrong with her products and this wasn't the first time it happened. The only reason I go here is I live 3 mins. Away. After today I will NEVER come back again. Convenientcy isnt always the best...i pay for the service and supply that i should het. I was a very gracious tipper and came twice a month. Now she lost a good customer. I'll understand she rushed me because she had clients but there was no one waiting. She should be taken her time with me since it was to fix what was done wrong in the first place. I was very upset but since I was with my daughter I didn't want to make a scene. They will now know why I never came back from reading this post. Not a satisfied customer. And the last appointment I saw a roach climbing on the wall...nasty!! I had to shake my purse out before going inside of my house to make sure I didn't bring any home!!!!!! Never again. Goodbye. read more
