I have never written a review before but I couldn't resist sharing my experience. I hosted a 60th paint party on 11/09/24 with the beautiful Miss Magnolia. The party was a hit. Magnolia was more than professional, she engaged herself with each guest, making them feel super special in the art they were creating. Everyone enjoyed their time with her. I attended one of Magnolia's classes for part of my bachelorette weekend with a few of my friends and family. We had an absolute blast - Magnolia was super flexible, accommodating, helpful and just so much fun to work with. She spent time with members of my group who needed support and also provided a little psycho-analysis/ interpretation about each person once our paintings were finished. I WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM recommend Magnolia (owner) and her gift of painting. I booked her for a work team "Paint n Sip" party for team bonding and we got more than we asked for. Magnolia is pleasant to work with, her team is very responsive and accommodating in the booking process. My team thoroughly enjoyed our time painting. Magnolia gave us starting point (a sky/base of some sort) and then gave us free reign to choose what we wanted to paint individually. Of course if we all wanted to paint the same picture we could have done that and she would have walked us through the process but this turned out even better. It allowed each of us to go through our own processes and express ourselves individually without comparison. Throughout the session Magnolia would assist us with technique, color creation and corrective images (if someone suddenly didn't like the direction their painting was going). She poured so much confidence into us and encouraged us to trust our process. Helped us to see our work from a positive and constructive perspective as we journeyed to completion. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!! We had a group of 12 and she made each of us feel like we were the only ones in the room. She is truly a GIFT! As an added bonus to our package, she did personality readings on many of us in the group and from the feedback i received from my team, she was pretty spot on in how we see ourselves, how we operate based on our history, and aspects of our lives that we should focus on to live a more fulfilled and whole and positive life! I personally received more than i expected and I am grateful for her gift and light!!! If you want to throw a big or small group paint party, BOOK MAGNOLIA and ART ON THE RUN ASAP! My mother & I experienced Art On The Run once thanks to a friend of my mom's. Magnolia came to our house, instructed us, painted with us and we all had a great time thanks to her. She then analyzed our paintings and gave us a very accurate personality trait description/interpretation that left us in awe so my mom called Magnolia up a second time so she could come to one of my mom's parties. We had a great time then too, we painted, danced, laughed, ate, drank, etc. and when it was time to do interpretations Magnolia surprised me yet again with her perfect interpretation of me! "I recently had Art On The Run come to our team bonding event and it was the best experience I could have ever hoped for! She was a magnetic and engaging instructor who made us feel at ease and confident to do something that most of us had no experience in. On top of the paint session we payed a extra for the paint personality readings and to my surprise she was spot on with every single person. It was surprising and frankly therapeutic in a lot of ways as she was so encouraging and empathic. I was VERY nervous about my first paint and sip class since I haven't picked up a paint brush since middle school. Magnolia couldn't have been a better instructor. Her instructions were easy to follow and the environment was fun yet relaxing. I was able to chat with Magnolia a few minutes after class and was amazed at her perspective and intuition about me just by looking at my painting! I have participated in a number of paint and sips (Indiana, North Carolina, and LA) with different levels of success. (My first painting was suppose to be a glass of wine and ended up being an African drum--LOL!) My experience with Art on the Run was exceptional! During a reunion with 17 of my sorority Sisters we experienced an adventure in art and were blessed with an insightful accurate reading based on our free hand paintings. Magnolia is an amazingly talented professional artist. She set the tone for an evening of enjoyment and fun. From the proper draping, aprons, canvases, paint and brushes nothing was left to chance. Magnolia was clear and supportive the entire evening. Her energy and guidance was constant. Magnolia had the uncanny ability to make each person feel like they were receiving personalized attention the entire time. When the evening ended each of us had a masterpiece to be proud of. Whenever I look at my painting I remember the sage words of wisdom and insight Magnolia shared. I especially remember the joyous feeling of being surrounded by the love of my sisters and how much we laughed and bonded as we allowed our creativity to flow freely and unashamedly. As a teacher, I aside from her obvious technical know how, her ability to step into the shoes of her students and understand intuitively where each student is, was amazing. We had a "family session" with myself and my 3 kids (5,7 and 10). I watched her with all of my kids and observed her with me as well. She knew how to motivate each of us, and understood the razor thin difference between pushing and encouraging. She sure was able to bring out the best in each of us as artists. Magnolia was simply awesome, really sweet, fun and welcoming and most importantly encouraging. Most people love art but never think we too could make something worth admiring but regardless of what you create, she encourages you to create from your heart and to know that it is beautiful! We had a party this weekend to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. My mom is an artist, and we thought it would be fun if her kids and grandkids painted with her. I came to Yelp and searched for paint and sip parties. Magnolia was the first to respond and we had a great conversation about what I was looking for and she shared her company philosophy and all the details. What was amazing is that I asked her opinion on how a visually impaired person would participate, as 2 of my brothers are blind. Magnolia embraced this and shared that she has history dealing with art and blind individuals! A perfect match. She was great in the planning phase and walked us through all of the details. The night of the party, Magnolia showed up on-time with all of the supplies and even brought a gift for my mom! So there were 15 of us ready to paint and Magnolia took control of the group and walked us through painting of 2 options of subjects, some did the owl she suggested and the majority painted the heart we chose. Her teaching style was relaxed, caring and positive. She encouraged several members to pursue art going forward. She encouraged all of us that there aren't any mistakes when we create. She is great fun, and really knows how to run a paint party. She felt like a long time friend to all of us. My mom is still talking about the night.
